Nombres 30

1 Et il dit aux princes des tribus des enfants d’Israël: Voici la parole qu’a ordonnée le Seigneur:

And he spoke Moses to [the] leaders of the tribes of [the] people of Israel saying this [is] the word which he has commanded Yahweh.

2 Si un homme a voué un vœu au Seigneur, ou s’est lié par serment, il ne rendra point vaine sa parole, mais il effectuera tout ce qu’il a promis.

A man if he will vow a vow to Yahweh or he will swear an oath to bind an obligation on self his not he will violate word his according to every [thing which] has gone out from mouth his he will do.

3 Si une femme a voué quelque chose et s’est liée par serment, et qu’elle soit dans la maison de son père, et encore dans le jeune âge; si le père connaît le vœu qu’elle a fait, et le serment par lequel elle a lié son âme et qu’il garde le silence, elle est obligée à son vœu;

And a woman if she will vow a vow to Yahweh and she will bind an obligation in [the] house of father her in youth her.

4 Tout ce qu’elle a promis et juré, elle le mettra à effet;

And he will hear father her vow her and obligation her which she has bound on self her and he will keep silent to her father her and they will stand all vows her and every obligation which she has bound on self her it will stand.

5 Mais, si, dès qu’il l’apprend, son père proteste contre, et ses vœux et ses serments seront nuls, et elle ne sera point obligée à tenir son engagement, parce que son père a protesté contre.

And if he forbade father her her on [the] day heard he all vows her and obligations her which she has bound on self her not it will stand and Yahweh he will forgive her for he forbade father her her.

6 Si elle a un mari, et qu’elle ait voué quelque chose, et qu’une parole une fois sortie de sa bouche ait obligé son âme par serment,

And if certainly she will belong to a husband and vows her [are] on her or [the] rash utterance of lips her which she has bound on self her.

7 Et que dans le jour où son mari l’a appris, il n’ait pas protesté contre, elle sera obligée à son vœu, et elle effectuera tout ce qu’elle a promis;

And he will hear husband her on [the] day hears he and he will keep silent to her and they will stand vows her and obligations her which she has bound on self her they will stand.

8 Mais, si l’apprenant, le mari proteste contre aussitôt, et rend ainsi nulles ses promesses, et les paroles par lesquelles elle a lié son âme, le Seigneur lui sera propice.

And if on [the] day hears husband her he will forbid her and he will break vow her which [is] on her and [the] rash utterance of lips her which she has bound on self her and Yahweh he will forgive her.

9 Une veuve et une répudiée effectueront tout ce qu’elles ont voué.

And [the] vow of a widow and a divorced [woman] all that she has bound on self her it will stand on her.

10 Lorsqu’une femme dans la maison de son mari s’est liée par vœu ou par serment,

And if [the] house of husband her she has vowed or she bound an obligation on self her by an oath.

11 Si son mari l’apprend, et qu’il garde le silence, et ne proteste pas contre son engagement, elle effectuera tout ce qu’elle a promis;

And he will hear husband her and he will keep silent to her not he forbade her and they will stand all vows her and every obligation which she has bound on self her it will stand.

12 Mais si sur-le-champ il proteste contre, elle ne sera pas obligée à tenir sa promesse, parce que son mari a protesté contre; et le Seigneur lui sera propice.

And if actually he will break them - husband her on [the] day hears he any utterance of lips her to vows her and to [the] obligation of self her not it will stand husband her he has broken them and Yahweh he will forgive her.

13 Si elle a fait un vœu, et si elle s’est obligée par serment à affliger son âme par le jeûne, ou par l’abstinence de toute sorte de choses, il dépendra de son mari qu’elle le fasse ou ne le fasse pas;

Every vow and every oath of obligation to humble self husband her he will confirm it and husband her he will break it.

14 Que, si l’apprenant, son mari garde le silence, et diffère jusqu’au lendemain à dire son sentiment, tout ce qu’elle a voué et promis, elle l’effectuera, parce que dès qu’il l’a appris, il a gardé le silence;

And certainly [if] he will keep silent to her husband her from day to day and he will confirm all vows her or all obligations her which [are] on her he has confirmed them for he kept silent to her on [the] day heard he.

15 Mais s’il a protesté contre, après qu’il est venu à le savoir, il portera lui-même l’iniquité de sa femme.

And if actually he will break them after has heard he and he will bear guilt her.

16 Telles sont les lois que le Seigneur a établies par Moïse entre le mari et la femme, entre le père et la fille, qui est encore dans le jeune âge, ou qui demeure dans la maison de son père.

These [are] the statutes which he commanded Yahweh Moses between a man and wife his between a father and daughter his in youth her [the] house of father her.
