1 Le Seigneur parla à Moïse, disant:
And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Parle aux enfants d’Israël et tu leur diras: Lorsque vous serez entrés dans la terre de votre habitation, que moi-même je vous donnerai,
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye are come into the land of your habitations, which I give unto you,
3 Et que vous ferez une oblation au Seigneur, holocauste au victime, acquittant des vœux, ou faisant des offrandes spontanées, ou, dans vos solennités, brûlant, comme une odeur de suavité pour le Seigneur, des bœufs ou des brebis,
and will make an offering by fire unto Jehovah, a burnt-offering, or a sacrifice, to accomplish a vow, or as a freewill-offering, or in your set feasts, to make a sweet savor unto Jehovah, of the herd, or of the flock;
4 Quiconque immolera une victime, offrira un sacrifice de fleur de farine, la dixième partie de l’éphi arrosée d’huile qui aura pour mesure le quatrième du hin;
then shall he that offereth his oblation offer unto Jehovah a meal-offering of a tenth part [of an ephah] of fine flour mingled with the fourth part of a hin of oil:
5 Et il donnera du vin de même mesure pour faire les libations, soit pour l’holocauste, soit pour la victime. Pour chaque agneau,
and wine for the drink-offering, the fourth part of a hin, shalt thou prepare with the burnt-offering, or for the sacrifice, for each lamb.
6 Et chaque bélier, le sacrifice sera de deux décimes de fleur de farine, qui devra être arrosée d’huile de la troisième partie du hin;
Or for a ram, thou shalt prepare for a meal-offering two tenth parts [of an ephah] of fine flour mingled with the third part of a hin of oil:
7 Et il offrira du vin pour les libations, la troisième partie de la même mesure, en odeur de suavité pour le Seigneur.
and for the drink-offering thou shalt offer the third part of a hin of wine, of a sweet savor unto Jehovah.
8 Mais quand tu offriras un holocauste de bœuf, ou une hostie, afin d’accomplir un vœu ou des victimes pacifiques,
And when thou preparest a bullock for a burnt-offering, or for a sacrifice, to accomplish a vow, or for peace-offerings unto Jehovah;
9 Tu donneras pour chaque bœuf trois décimes de fleur de farine arrosée d’huile qui doit avoir la moitié de la mesure du hin;
then shall he offer with the bullock a meal-offering of three tenth parts [of an ephah] of fine flour mingled with half a hin of oil:
10 Et du vin pour faire les libations, de même mesure, en oblation d’une très suave odeur pour le Seigneur.
and thou shalt offer for the drink-offering half a hin of wine, for an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor unto Jehovah.
11 C’est ainsi que tu feras
Thus shall it be done for each bullock, or for each ram, or for each of the he-lambs, or of the kids.
12 Pour chacun des bœufs, des béliers, des agneaux et des chevreaux,
According to the number that ye shall prepare, so shall ye do to every one according to their number.
13 Tant les indigènes que les voyageurs
All that are home-born shall do these things after this manner, in offering an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor unto Jehovah.
14 Offriront les sacrifices selon le même rite.
And if a stranger sojourn with you, or whosoever may be among you throughout your generations, and will offer an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor unto Jehovah; as ye do, so he shall do.
15 Il y aura un seul précepte, et une seule ordonnance, tant pour vous que pour les étrangers à votre pays.
For the assembly, there shall be one statute for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth [with you], a statute for ever throughout your generations: as ye are, so shall the sojourner be before Jehovah.
16 Le Seigneur parla à Moïse, disant:
One law and one ordinance shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you.
17 Parle aux enfants d’Israël, et tu leurs diras:
And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,
18 Lorsque vous serez arrivés dans la terre que je vous donnerai,
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land whither I bring you,
19 Et que vous mangerez des pains de ce pays-là, vous mettrez à part pour le Seigneur les prémices
then it shall be, that, when ye eat of the bread of the land, ye shall offer up a heave-offering unto Jehovah.
20 De ce que vous mangerez. Comme vous mettez à part les prémices d’aires,
Of the first of your dough ye shall offer up a cake for a heave-offering: as the heave-offering of the threshing-floor, so shall ye heave it.
21 Ainsi vous donnerez les prémices de vos pâtes au Seigneur.
Of the first of your dough ye shall give unto Jehovah a heave-offering throughout your generations.
22 Que si par ignorance vous aviez omis quelqu’une de ces choses qu’a dites le Seigneur à Moïse,
And when ye shall err, and not observe all these commandments, which Jehovah hath spoken unto Moses,
23 Et qu’il vous a commandées par lui, depuis le jour qu’il a commencé à commander, et après;
even all that Jehovah hath commanded you by Moses, from the day that Jehovah gave commandment, and onward throughout your generations;
24 Et si la multitude a oublié de le faire, elle offrira un veau pris d’un troupeau, holocauste en odeur très suave pour le Seigneur, et son sacrifice et les libations, comme les cérémonies le demandent, et un bouc pour le péché;
then it shall be, if it be done unwittingly, without the knowledge of the congregation, that all the congregation shall offer one young bullock for a burnt-offering, for a sweet savor unto Jehovah, with the meal-offering thereof, and the drink-offering thereof, according to the ordinance, and one he-goat for a sin-offering.
25 Et le prêtre priera pour toute la multitude des enfants d’Israël; et il leur sera pardonné, parce qu’ils n’ont pas péché volontairement; cependant offrant un holocauste au Seigneur pour eux-mêmes, pour leur péché et leur erreur;
And the priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and they shall be forgiven; for it was an error, and they have brought their oblation, an offering made by fire unto Jehovah, and their sin-offering before Jehovah, for their error:
26 Et il sera pardonné à tout le peuple des enfants d’Israël et aux étrangers qui séjournent parmi eux, parce que c’est une faute de tout le peuple commise par ignorance.
and all the congregation of the children of Israel shall be forgiven, and the stranger that sojourneth among them; for in respect of all the people it was done unwittingly.
27 Que si une personne en particulier pèche, ne le sachant point, elle offrira une chèvre d’un an pour son péché;
And if one person sin unwittingly, then he shall offer a she-goat a year old for a sin-offering.
28 Et le prêtre priera pour elle, parce que c’est sans le savoir qu’elle a péché devant le Seigneur; et il lui obtiendra grâce, et il lui sera pardonné.
And the priest shall make atonement for the soul that erreth, when he sinneth unwittingly, before Jehovah, to make atonement for him; and he shall be forgiven.
29 Il n’y aura qu’une seule loi tant pour tous les indigènes que pour tous les étrangers qui auront péché par ignorance.
Ye shall have one law for him that doeth aught unwittingly, for him that is home-born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them.
30 Mais celui qui aura fait quelque chose par orgueil, soit que celui-là soit citoyen, ou étranger (parce que c’est contre le Seigneur qu’il a été rebelle), périra du milieu de son peuple;
But the soul that doeth aught with a high hand, whether he be home-born or a sojourner, the same blasphemeth Jehovah; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
31 Car il a méprisé la parole du Seigneur, il a rendu son précepte vain: c’est pourquoi il sera détruit, et il portera son iniquité.
Because he hath despised the word of Jehovah, and hath broken his commandment, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be upon him.
32 Or, il arriva que, comme les enfants d’Israël étaient dans le désert, et qu’ils avaient trouvé un homme ramassant du bois, au jour du sabbat,
And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering sticks upon the sabbath day.
33 Ils le présentèrent à Moïse et à Aaron et à toute la multitude,
And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto all the congregation.
34 Qui l’enfermèrent en prison, ne sachant ce qu’ils devaient faire de lui.
And they put him in ward, because it had not been declared what should be done to him.
35 Alors le Seigneur dit à Moïse: Que cet homme meure de mort, et que toute la multitude le lapide hors du camp.
And Jehovah said unto Moses, The man shall surely be put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp.
36 Et lorsqu’ils l’eurent conduit dehors, ils le lapidèrent, et il mourut, comme avait ordonné le Seigneur.
And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him to death with stones; as Jehovah commanded Moses.
37 Dieu dit aussi à Moïse:
And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,
38 Parle aux enfants d’Israël, et tu leur diras qu’ils se fassent des franges aux coins de leurs manteaux, y posant des bandelettes d’hyacinthe;
Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of each border a cord of blue:
39 Que lorsqu’ils les verront, ils se souviennent de tous les commandements du Seigneur, et qu’ils ne suivent point leurs pensées, ni leurs yeux qui se prostituent à divers objets;
and it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of Jehovah, and do them; and that ye follow not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to play the harlot;
40 Mais plutôt, que se souvenant des préceptes du Seigneur, ils les accomplissent, et qu’ils soient saints pour leur Dieu.
that ye may remember and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God.
41 Je suis le Seigneur votre Dieu qui vous ai retirés de la terre d’Egypte, afin que je fusse votre Dieu.
I am Jehovah your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am Jehovah your God.
