< Lévitique 3 >

1 Que si son oblation est une hostie de sacrifices pacifiques, et qu’il veuille offrir d’entre les bœufs un mâle ou une femelle, il les offrira sans tâche au Seigneur;
And if his oblation be a sacrifice of peace offering, if he offer it of the herd; whether it be a male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before the LORD.
2 Et il mettra la main sur la tête de sa victime qui sera immolée à l’entrée du tabernacle de témoignage, et les fils d’Aaron, prêtres, répandront le sang autour de l’autel.
And he shall lay his hand on the head of his offering, and kill it at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron’s sons the priests shall sprinkle the blood on the altar round about.
3 Et ils offriront de l’hostie des sacrifices pacifiques en oblation au Seigneur, la graisse qui couvre les entrailles et tout ce qu’il y a de graisse au dedans;
And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire to the LORD; the fat that covers the inwards, and all the fat that is on the inwards,
4 Les deux reins avec la graisse dont sont couverts les flancs, et la membrane réticulaire du foie avec les reins,
And the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the lobe above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away.
5 Et ils les brûleront sur l’autel en holocauste, le feu ayant été mis sous le bois, en oblation de très suave odeur pour le Seigneur.
And Aaron’s sons shall burn it on the altar on the burnt sacrifice, which is on the wood that is on the fire: it is an offering made by fire, of a sweet smell to the LORD.
6 Mais si c’est de brebis que se fait l’oblation, et que ce soit une hostie de sacrifices pacifiques, soit qu’il offre un mâle, ou une femelle, ils seront sans tâche,
And if his offering for a sacrifice of peace offering to the LORD be of the flock; male or female, he shall offer it without blemish.
7 Si c’est un agneau qu’il offre devant le Seigneur,
If he offer a lamb for his offering, then shall he offer it before the LORD.
8 Il mettra sa main sur la tête de sa victime, qui sera immolée dans le vestibule du tabernacle de témoignage, et les fils d’Aaron en répandront le sang autour de l’autel,
And he shall lay his hand on the head of his offering, and kill it before the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron’s sons shall sprinkle the blood thereof round about on the altar.
9 Et ils offriront de l’hostie des sacrifices pacifiques un sacrifice au Seigneur: la graisse et la queue entière
And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire to the LORD; the fat thereof, and the whole rump, it shall he take off hard by the backbone; and the fat that covers the inwards, and all the fat that is on the inwards,
10 Avec les reins, et la graisse qui couvre le ventre et toutes les entrailles, l’un et l’autre rein avec la graisse qui est près des flancs, et la membrane réticulaire du foie avec les reins;
And the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the lobe above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away.
11 Et le prêtre les brûlera sur l’autel pour l’entretien du feu et de l’oblation du Seigneur.
And the priest shall burn it on the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire to the LORD.
12 Si son oblation est une chèvre, et qu’il l’offre au Seigneur,
And if his offering be a goat, then he shall offer it before the LORD.
13 Il mettra sa main sur sa tête, et l’immolera à l’entrée du tabernacle de témoignage. Et les fils d’Aaron en répandront le sang autour de l’autel;
And he shall lay his hand on the head of it, and kill it before the tabernacle of the congregation: and the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle the blood thereof on the altar round about.
14 Et ils en prendront pour l’entretien du feu du Seigneur, la graisse qui couvre le ventre, et qui est sur toutes les entrailles,
And he shall offer thereof his offering, even an offering made by fire to the LORD; the fat that covers the inwards, and all the fat that is on the inwards,
15 Les deux reins avec la membrane réticulaire, qui est sur eux près des flancs, et le gras du foie avec les reins;
And the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the lobe above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away.
16 Et le prêtre les brûlera sur l’autel pour l’entretien du feu et d’une très suave odeur. Toute graisse appartiendra au Seigneur.
And the priest shall burn them on the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire for a sweet smell: all the fat is the LORD’s.
17 Par un droit perpétuel dans vos générations et toutes vos demeures: et vous ne mangerez jamais ni sang ni graisse.
It shall be a perpetual statute for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that you eat neither fat nor blood.
