Lévitique 15

1 Le Seigneur parla encore à Moïse et à Aaron, disant:

And the LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,

2 Parlez aux enfants d’Israël et dites-leur: Un homme qui a la gonorrhée sera impur.

Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, When any man has a running issue out of his flesh, because of his issue he is unclean.

3 Or, on jugera qu’il est atteint de cette maladie, lorsqu’à chaque moment s’attachera à sa chair et s’accroîtra une humeur sale.

And this shall be his uncleanness in his issue: whether his flesh run with his issue, or his flesh be stopped from his issue, it is his uncleanness.

4 Tout lit sur lequel il aura dormi, sera impur, et tout endroit où il se sera assis.

Every bed, where on he lies that has the issue, is unclean: and every thing, where on he sits, shall be unclean.

5 Si quelque homme touche son lit, il lavera ses vêtements, et lui-même, s’étant lavé dans l’eau, sera impur jusqu’au soir.

And whoever touches his bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

6 S’il s’assied où cet homme s’est assis, il lavera lui aussi ses vêtements; et s’étant lavé dans l’eau, il sera impur jusqu’au soir.

And he that sits on any thing where on he sat that has the issue shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

7 Celui qui aura touché sa chair, lavera ses vêtements; et lui-même s’étant lavé dans l’eau, il sera impur jusqu’au soir.

And he that touches the flesh of him that has the issue shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

8 Si un homme, en cet état, jette de sa salive sur celui qui est pur, celui-ci lavera ses vêtements; et s’étant lavé dans l’eau, il sera impur jusqu’au soir.

And if he that has the issue spit on him that is clean; then he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

9 Le bât sur lequel il se sera assis, sera impur;

And what saddle soever he rides on that has the issue shall be unclean.

10 Et tout ce qui aura été sous celui qui a la gonorrhée sera souillé jusqu’au soir. Celui qui portera quelqu’une de ces choses, lavera ses vêtements; et lui-même, s’étant lavé dans l’eau, sera impur jusqu’au soir.

And whoever touches any thing that was under him shall be unclean until the even: and he that bears any of those things shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

11 Tout homme qu’aura touché celui qui est en cet état, avant d’avoir lavé ses mains, lavera ses vêtements; et s’étant lavé dans l’eau, il sera impur jusqu’au soir.

And whomsoever he touches that has the issue, and has not rinsed his hands in water, he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

12 Un vase de terre qu’il aura touché, sera brisé; mais un vase de bois sera lavé dans l’eau;

And the vessel of earth, that he touches which has the issue, shall be broken: and every vessel of wood shall be rinsed in water.

13 Mais si celui qui endure une pareille maladie guérit, il comptera sept jours après sa purification, et, ses vêtements et tout son corps lavés dans des eaux vives, il sera pur.

And when he that has an issue is cleansed of his issue; then he shall number to himself seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in running water, and shall be clean.

14 Mais au huitième jour, il prendra deux tourterelles, ou deux petits de colombe, et il viendra en la présence du Seigneur à la porte du tabernacle de témoignage, et les donnera au prêtre,

And on the eighth day he shall take to him two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, and come before the LORD to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and give them to the priest:

15 Qui en sacrifiera un pour le péché et l’autre en holocauste; et le prêtre priera pour lui devant le Seigneur, afin qu’il soit purifié de sa gonorrhée.

And the priest shall offer them, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him before the LORD for his issue.

16 Un homme qui a usé du mariage, lavera dans l’eau tout son corps, et il sera impur jusqu’au soir.

And if any man’s seed of copulation go out from him, then he shall wash all his flesh in water, and be unclean until the even.

17 Il lavera dans l’eau le vêtement et la peau qu’il avait sur lui, et elle sera impure jusqu’au soir.

And every garment, and every skin, where on is the seed of copulation, shall be washed with water, and be unclean until the even.

18 La femme dont il se sera approché sera lavée dans l’eau, et elle sera impure jusqu’au soir.

The woman also with whom man shall lie with seed of copulation, they shall both bathe themselves in water, and be unclean until the even.

19 Une femme, qui au retour du mois éprouve un écoulement de sang, sera séparée pendant sept jours.

And if a woman have an issue, and her issue in her flesh be blood, she shall be put apart seven days: and whoever touches her shall be unclean until the even.

20 Quiconque la touchera sera impur jusqu’au soir;

And every thing that she lies on in her separation shall be unclean: every thing also that she sits on shall be unclean.

21 Et l’endroit dans lequel elle aura dormi, ou se sera assise dans les jours de sa séparation, sera souillé.

And whoever touches her bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

22 Celui qui aura touché son lit, lavera ses vêtements; et lui-même, s’étant lavé dans l’eau, sera impur jusqu’au soir.

And whoever touches any thing that she sat on shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

23 Quiconque aura touché un meuble, quel qu’il soit, sur lequel elle se sera assise, lavera ses vêtements; et lui-même, s’étant lavé dans l’eau, il sera souillé jusqu’au soir.

And if it be on her bed, or on any thing where on she sits, when he touches it, he shall be unclean until the even.

24 Si un homme s’approche d’elle dans le temps de ses mois, il sera impur pendant sept jours; et tout lit sur lequel il dormira sera souillé.

And if any man lie with her at all, and her flowers be on him, he shall be unclean seven days; and all the bed where on he lies shall be unclean.

25 Une femme, qui éprouve pendant plusieurs jours une perte de sang, hors le temps menstruel, ou qui après le sang menstruel ne cesse pas d’avoir cette perte, tant qu’elle sera atteinte de cette maladie, sera impure, comme si elle était dans le temps menstruel.

And if a woman have an issue of her blood many days out of the time of her separation, or if it run beyond the time of her separation; all the days of the issue of her uncleanness shall be as the days of her separation: she shall be unclean.

26 Tout lit sur lequel elle aura dormi, et tout meuble sur lequel elle aura été assise, sera souillé.

Every bed where on she lies all the days of her issue shall be to her as the bed of her separation: and whatever she sits on shall be unclean, as the uncleanness of her separation.

27 Quiconque aura touché ces choses, lavera ses vêtements; et lui-même, s’étant lavé dans l’eau, sera impur jusqu’au soir.

And whoever touches those things shall be unclean, and shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

28 Si le sang s’arrête, et cesse découler, elle comptera sept jours jusqu’à sa purification;

But if she be cleansed of her issue, then she shall number to herself seven days, and after that she shall be clean.

29 Et au huitième jour, elle offrira pour elle au prêtre deux tourterelles ou deux petits de colombes à la porte du tabernacle de témoignage.

And on the eighth day she shall take to her two turtles, or two young pigeons, and bring them to the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

30 Le prêtre en sacrifiera un pour le péché et l’autre en holocauste; et il priera pour elle devant le Seigneur, et pour la cause de son impureté.

And the priest shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for her before the LORD for the issue of her uncleanness.

31 Vous instruirez donc les enfants d’Israël, afin qu’ils se gardent de l’impureté, et qu’ils ne meurent point dans leurs souillures, lorsqu’ils auront profané mon tabernacle, qui est au milieu de vous.

Thus shall you separate the children of Israel from their uncleanness; that they die not in their uncleanness, when they defile my tabernacle that is among them.

32 Telle est la loi de celui qui a la gonorrhée, et qui se souille en usant du mariage,

This is the law of him that has an issue, and of him whose seed goes from him, and is defiled therewith;

33 Et de celle qui est séparée à cause de ses mois, ou qui éprouve une perte de sang continuelle, et de l’homme qui aura dormi avec elle.

And of her that is sick of her flowers, and of him that has an issue, of the man, and of the woman, and of him that lies with her that is unclean.
