Josué 1

1 Or, il arriva après la mort de Moïse, serviteur du Seigneur, que le Seigneur parla à Josué, fils de Nun, serviteur de Moïse, et qu’il lui dit:

And it was after [the] death of Moses [the] servant of Yahweh and he said Yahweh to Joshua [the] son of Nun [the] servant of Moses saying.

2 Moïse, mon serviteur est mort, lève-toi, passe le Jourdain, toi et tout le peuple avec toi, et va dans la terre que je donnerai moi-même aux enfants d’Israël.

Moses servant my he has died and therefore arise pass over the Jordan this you and all the people this into the land which I [am] about to give to them to [the] people of Israel.

3 Tout lieu que la plante de votre pied aura foulé, je vous le livrerai, comme j’ai dit à Moïse.

Every place which it will tread [the] sole of foot your on it to you I have given it just as I spoke to Moses.

4 Depuis le désert et le Liban jusqu’au grand fleuve d’Euphrate, toute la terre des Héthéens, jusqu’à la grande mer contre le couchant du soleil, sera votre limite.

From the wilderness and Lebanon this and to the river great [the] river of Euphrates all [the] land of the Hittites and to the sea great [the] setting of the sun it will be territory your.

5 Nul ne pourra vous résister pendant tous les jours de ta vie: comme j’ai été avec Moïse, ainsi je serai avec toi, je ne te laisserai, ni ne t’abandonnerai.

Not he will stand anyone before you all [the] days of life your just as I was with Moses I will be with you not I will abandon you and not I will leave you.

6 Prends courage et sois fort, car c’est toi qui partageras à ce peuple par le sort la terre, au sujet de laquelle j’ai juré à leurs pères que je la leur livrerais.

Be strong and be bold for you you will cause to inherit the people this the land which I swore to fathers their to give to them.

7 Prends donc courage, et sois très fort, afin que tu gardes et que tu pratiques toute la loi que t’a prescrite Moïse, mon serviteur: ne t’en détourne ni à droite ni à gauche, afin que tu comprennes tout ce que tu fais.

Only be strong and be bold exceedingly to take care to do according to all the law which he commanded you Moses servant my may not you turn aside from it right and left so that you may prosper in every where you will go.

8 Que le livre de cette loi ne s’éloigne point de ta bouche; tu le méditeras les jours et les nuits, afin que tu gardes et pratiques tout ce qui y est écrit: alors tu dirigeras ta voie et tu la comprendras.

Not it will depart [the] book of the law this from mouth your and you will meditate on it by day and night so that you may take care to do according to every [thing] written in it for then you will make successful ways your and then you will be successful.

9 Voici que je te l’ordonne, prends courage et sois fort. Ne crains point, et ne t’épouvante point, parce que le Seigneur ton Dieu est avec toi en quelque lieu que tu ailles.

¿ Not have I commanded you be strong and be bold may not you be terrified and may not you be dismayed for [is] with you Yahweh God your in every where you will go.

10 Et Josué ordonna aux princes du peuple, disant: Passez par le milieu du camp, et commandez au peuple, et dites:

And he commanded Joshua [the] officers of the people saying.

11 Préparez-vous des vivres, parce qu’après trois jours vous passerez le Jourdain, et vous entrerez entrerez pour la posséder, dans la terre que le Seigneur votre Dieu va vous donner.

Pass - in [the] midst of the camp and command the people saying prepare for yourselves food for in yet - three days you [are] about to pass over the Jordan this to go to take possession of the land which Yahweh God your [is] about to give to you to take possession of it.

12 Aux Rubénites aussi et aux Gadites et à la demi-tribu de Manassé, il dit:

And to the Reubenite[s] and to the Gadite[s] and to [the] half of [the] tribe of Manasseh he said Joshua saying.

13 Souvenez-vous de ce que vous ordonna Moïse, serviteur du Seigneur, disant: Le Seigneur votre Dieu vous a donné le repos et toute cette terre.

Remember the word which he commanded you Moses [the] servant of Yahweh saying Yahweh God your [is] giving rest to you and he will give to you the land this.

14 Vos femmes, vos enfants et vos bestiaux demeureront dans la terre que vous a livrée Moïse en deçà du Jourdain; mais vous, passez armés devant vos frères, vous tous forts de la main, et combattez pour eux,

Wives your little one[s] your and livestock your they will remain in the land which he gave to you Moses on [the] other side of the Jordan and you you will pass over arrayed for battle before brothers your all [the] mighty [men] of strength and you will help them.

15 Jusqu’à ce que le Seigneur donne le repos à vos frères, comme il vous l’a donné à vous-mêmes; et qu’ils possèdent eux aussi la terre que le Seigneur votre Dieu va leur donner: et c’est ainsi que vous retournerez dans la terre de votre possession, et que vous habiterez dans cette terre que vous a donnée Moïse, serviteur de Dieu en deçà du Jourdain contre le levant.

Until that he will give rest Yahweh - to brothers your like you and they will take possession of also they the land which Yahweh God your [is] about to give to them and you will return to [the] land of possession your and you will take possession of it which - he gave to you Moses [the] servant of Yahweh on [the] other side of the Jordan [the] rising of the sun.

16 Et ils répondirent à Josué et dirent: Nous ferons tout ce que tu nous as ordonné; et nous irons partout où tu nous enverras.

And they answered Joshua saying all that you have commanded us we will do and to every where you will send us we will go.

17 Comme nous avons obéi en toutes choses à Moïse, ainsi nous t’obéirons à toi-même. Seulement que le Seigneur ton Dieu soit avec toi, comme il a été avec Moïse.

According to all that we listened to Moses so we will listen to you only may he be Yahweh God your with you just as he was with Moses.

18 Que celui qui contredira ta parole, et qui n’obéira pas à tous les discours que tu lui prescriras, meure; seulement, toi, fortifie-toi, et agis courageusement.

Every person who he will rebel toward mouth your and not he will obey words your to all that you will command him he will be put to death only be strong and be bold.
