Josué 19
1 Le deuxième sort sortit pour les enfants de Siméon, selon leur parenté, et l’héritage fut
And the second lot goes out for Simeon, for the tribe of the sons of Simeon, for their families; and their inheritance is in the midst of the inheritance of the sons of Judah,
2 Pour eux au milieu de la possession des fils de Juda: Bersabée, Sabée, Molada;
and they have in their inheritance Beer-Sheba, and Sheba, and Moladah,
3 Hasersual, Bala, Asem,
and Hazar-Shual, and Balah, and Azem,
4 Eltholad, Bétul, Harma,
and Eltolad, and Bethul, and Hormah,
5 Sicéleg, Bethmarchaboth, Hasersusa,
and Ziklag, and Beth-Marcaboth, and Hazar-Susah,
6 Béthlébaoth et Sarohen: treize villes et leurs villages;
and Beth-Lebaoth, and Sharuhen; thirteen cities and their villages.
7 Aïn, Remmon, Athar et Azan: quatre villes et leurs villages;
Ain, Remmon, and Ether, and Ashan; four cities and their villages;
8 Toutes les bourgades autour de ces villes jusqu’à Baalath, Béer, Ramath contre la partie australe. Tel est l’héritage des enfants de Siméon, selon leur parenté,
also all the villages which [are] around these cities, to Ba‘alath-Beer, Ramoth of the south. This [is] the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, for their families;
9 Dans la possession et le partage des enfants de Juda, parce qu’il était trop grand pour eux: et c’est pour cela que les enfants de Siméon eurent leur possession au milieu de leur héritage.
out of the portion of the sons of Judah [is] the inheritance of the sons of Simeon, for the portion of the sons of Judah has been too much for them, and the sons of Simeon inherit in the midst of their inheritance.
10 Le troisième sort échut aux enfants de Zabulon, selon leur parenté; et la frontière de leur possession s’étendait jusqu’à Sarid;
And the third lot goes up for the sons of Zebulun, for their families; and the border of their inheritance is to Sarid,
11 Elle monte de la mer et de Mérala, et elle parvient à Debbaseth, jusqu’au torrent qui est contre Jéconam;
and their border has gone up toward the sea, and Maralah, and come against Dabbasheth, and come to the brook which [is] on the front of Jokneam,
12 Elle retourne de Sared contre l’orient, aux confins de Césélethabor, s’avance près Dabéreth et monte contre Japhié;
and turned back from Sarid eastward, at the sun-rising, by the border of Chisloth-Tabor, and gone out to Daberath, and gone up to Japhia,
13 De là, elle passe jusqu’à la partie orientale de Géthhépher et Thacasin, et s’avance vers Remmon, Amthar et Noa.
and there it has passed over eastward, to the east, to Gittah-Hepher, [to] Ittah-Kazin, and gone out [to] Rimmon-Methoar to Neah;
14 De plus, elle fait, à l’aquilon, le tour d’Hanaton, et elle est terminée par la vallée de Jephtahel,
and the border has gone around it, from the north to Hannathon; and its outgoings have been [in] the Valley of Jiphthah-El,
15 Par Cathed, Naalol, Séméron, Jédala et Bethléem; douze villes et leurs villages.
and Kattath, and Nahallal, and Shimron, and Idalah, and Beth-Lehem; twelve cities and their villages.
16 C’est là l’héritage de la tribu des enfants de Zabulon, selon leur parenté; ce sont leurs villes et leurs bourgades.
This [is] the inheritance of the sons of Zebulun, for their families, these cities and their villages.
17 C’est pour Issachar, selon sa parenté, que sortit le quatrième sort;
The fourth lot has gone out for Issachar, for the sons of Issachar, for their families;
18 Et son héritage fut Jezraël, Casaloth, Sunem,
and their border is [at] Jezreel, and Chesulloth, and Shunem,
19 Hapharaïm, Séhon, Anaharat,
and Haphraim, and Shihon, and Anaharath,
20 Rabboth, Césion, Abès.
and Rabbith, and Kishion, and Abez,
21 Rameth, Engannim, Enhadda, et Bethphésès;
and Remeth, and En-Gannim, and En-Haddah, and Beth-Pazzez;
22 Et sa frontière parvient jusqu’à Thabor, Séhésima et Bethsamès; et se termine au Jourdain: seize villes et leurs villages.
and the border has touched against Tabor, and Shahazimah, and Beth-Shemesh, and the outgoings of their border have been [at] the Jordan; sixteen cities and their villages.
23 Telle est la possession des enfants d’Issachar, selon leur parenté; telles sont les villes et leurs bourgades.
This [is] the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Issachar, for their families, the cities and their villages.
24 Le cinquième sort échut aux enfants d’Aser, selon leur parenté;
And the fifth lot goes out for the tribe of the sons of Asher, for their families;
25 Et leur frontière fut Halcath, Chali, Béthen, Axaph,
and their border is Helkath, and Hali, and Beten, and Achshaph,
26 Elmélech, Amaad et Messal; et elle parvient jusqu’au Carmel de la mer, jusqu’à Sihor et Labanath;
and Alammelech, and Amad, and Misheal; and it touches against Carmel westward, and against Shihor-Libnath;
27 Et elle retourne contre l’orient à Bethdagon; elle passe jusqu’à Zabulon et à la vallée de Jephthael, contre l’aquilon, jusqu’à Bethémec et Néhiel. Elle s’avance, vers la gauche, vers Cabul,
and has turned back, at the sun-rising, [to] Beth-Dagon, and come against Zebulun, and against the Valley of Jiphthah-El toward the north of Beth-Emek, and Neiel, and has gone out to Cabul on the left,
28 Abran, Rohob, Hamon et Cana, jusqu’à Sidon la grande;
and Hebron, and Rehob, and Hammon, and Kanah, to great Sidon;
29 Puis elle retourne vers Horma, jusqu’à la ville très fortifiée de Tyr, et jusqu’à Hosa; et elle est terminée, à la mer, au territoire d’Achziba,
and the border has turned back to Ramah, and to the fortified city Tyre; and the border has turned back to Hosah, and its outgoings are at the sea, from the coast to Achzib,
30 Amma, Aphec et Rohob: vingt-deux cités et leurs villages.
and Ummah, and Aphek, and Rehob; twenty-two cities and their villages.
31 Telle est la possession des enfants d’Aser, selon leur parenté; telles sont les villes et leurs bourgades.
This [is] the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Asher, for their families, these cities and their villages.
32 Aux enfants de Nephthali échut le sixième sort, selon leurs familles;
The sixth lot has gone out for the sons of Naphtali—for the sons of Naphtali, for their families;
33 Et leur frontière commence à Héleph et Elon, va à Saananim et à Adami, qui est la même que Néceb, et à Jebnaël jusqu’à Lécum, et s’avance jusqu’au Jourdain;
and their border is from Heleph, from Allon in Zaanannim, and Adami, Nekeb, and Jabneel, to Lakkum, and its outgoings are [at] the Jordan;
34 Et la frontière retourne, contre l’occident, à Azanoth-Thabor, et de là s’avance vers Hucuca, et passe à Zabulon, contre le midi, à Aser, contre l’occident, et à Juda, vers le Jourdain, contre le levant.
and the border has turned back westward [to] Aznoth-Tabor, and gone out there to Hukkok, and touched against Zebulun on the south, and it has touched against Asher on the west, and against Judah [at] the Jordan, at the sun-rising;
35 Les villes très fortifiées sont Assédim, Ser, Emath, Reccath, Cénéreth,
and the cities of defense [are] Ziddim, Zer, and Hammath, Rakkath, and Chinnereth,
36 Edéma, Arama, Asor,
and Adamah, and Ramah, and Hazor,
37 Cédés, Edraï, Enhasor,
and Kedesh, and Edrei, and En-Hazor,
38 Jéron, Magdalel, Horem, Bethanath et Bethsamès: dix-neuf villes et leurs villages.
and Iron, and Migdal-El, Horem, and Beth-Anath, and Beth-Shemesh; nineteen cities and their villages.
39 Telle est la possession de la tribu des enfants de Nephthali, selon leur parenté; telles sont les villes et leurs bourgades.
This [is] the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali, for their families, the cities and their villages.
40 C’est pour la tribu des enfants de Dan, selon leurs familles, que sortit le septième sort;
The seventh lot has gone out for the tribe of the sons of Dan, for their families;
41 Et la frontière de sa possession fut Saraa, Esthaol et Hirsémès, c’est-à-dire, ville du soleil,
and the border of their inheritance is Zorah, and Eshtaol, and Ir-Shemesh,
42 Sélébin, Aïalon, Jéthéla,
and Shalabbin, and Aijalon, and Jethlah,
43 Elon, Themna et Acron,
and Elon, and Thimnathah, and Ekron,
44 Elthécé, Gébbéhon et Balaath,
and Eltekeh, and Gibbethon, and Ba‘alath,
45 Jud, Bané, Barach, Gethremmon,
and Jehud, and Bene-Barak, and Gath-Rimmon,
46 Méjarchon, et Arecon, avec la frontière qui regarde Joppé,
and Me-Jarkon, and Rakkon, with the border in front of Joppa.
47 Et elle est terminée par cette limite. Mais les enfants de Dan montèrent et combattirent contre Lésem, la prirent, la frappèrent du tranchant du glaive, en prirent possession et habitèrent en elle, lui donnant le nom de Lésem-Dan, du nom de Dan leur père.
And the border of the sons of Dan goes out from them, and the sons of Dan go up and fight with Leshem, and capture it, and strike it by the mouth of the sword, and possess it, and dwell in it, and call Leshem, Dan, according to the name of their father Dan.
48 Telle est la possession de la tribu des enfants de Dan, selon leur parenté; telles sont les villes et leurs bourgades.
This [is] the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Dan, for their families, these cities and their villages.
49 Or, lorsqu’il eut achevé de partager par le sort la terre à chacun, selon sa tribu, les enfants d’Israël donnèrent en possession à Josué, fils de Nun, au milieu d’eux,
And they finish to give the land in inheritance, by its borders, and the sons of Israel give an inheritance to Joshua son of Nun in their midst;
50 Selon le commandement du Seigneur, la ville qu’il avait demandée, Thamnath-Saraa, sur la montagne d’Ephraïm, et il bâtit la ville et il y habita.
by the command of YHWH they have given to him the city which he asked for, Timnath-Serah, in the hill-country of Ephraim, and he builds the city and dwells in it.
51 Telles sont les possessions que partagèrent au sort Eléazar, le prêtre, Josué, fils de Nun, et les princes des familles et des tribus des enfants d’Israël, à Silo, devant le Seigneur, à la porte du tabernacle de témoignage. C’est ainsi qu’ils partagèrent la terre.
These [are] the inheritances which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the sons of Israel, have caused to inherit by lot, in Shiloh, before YHWH, at the opening of the Tent of Meeting; and they finish to apportion the land.
