Isaïe 49
1 Ecoutez, îles, et soyez attentifs, peuples éloignés: le Seigneur dès le sein m’a appelé, dès les entrailles de ma mère il s’est souvenu de mon nom.
Listen O islands to me and pay attention O peoples from a distance Yahweh from [the] womb he called me from [the] inward parts of mother my he has brought to remembrance name my.
2 Il a disposé ma bouche comme un glaive aigu; à l’ombre de sa main il m’a protégé, et il m’a disposé comme une flèche choisie; il m’a caché dans son carquois.
And he made mouth my like a sword sharp in [the] shadow of hand his he hid me and he made me an arrow polished in quiver his he concealed me.
3 Et il m’a dit: Mon serviteur, c’est toi, Israël, parce qu’en toi je me glorifierai.
And he said to me [are] servant my you Israel whom by you I will get glory for myself.
4 Et moi j’ai dit: C’est dans le vide que j’ai travaillé, c’est sans motif et vainement que j’ai consumé ma force; ainsi mon jugement est au pouvoir du Seigneur, et mon travail au pouvoir de Dieu.
And I I said to emptiness I have labored to nothingness and futility strength my I have caused to fail nevertheless justice my [is] with Yahweh and recompense my [is] with God my.
5 Et maintenant, dit le Seigneur, qui m’a formé dès le sein de ma mère pour le servir, afin que je ramène Jacob à lui, et Israël ne sera pas rassemblé, et j’ai été glorifié aux yeux du Seigneur, et mon Dieu est devenu ma force.
And now - he says Yahweh [who] formed me from [the] womb a servant of him to bring back Jacob to him and Israel (to him *Q(K)*) it will be gathered and I may be honored in [the] eyes of Yahweh and God my he has been strength my.
6 Il a donc dit: C’est peu que tu me serves à relever les tribus de Jacob, et à convertir les restes d’Israël. Voici que je t’ai posé en lumière des nations, afin que tu sois mon salut jusqu’à l’extrémité de la terre.
And he said it is [too] trifling for being you of me servant to raise up [the] tribes of Jacob (and [the] preserved [ones] of *Q(K)*) Israel to bring back and I will make you a light of [the] nations to be salvation my to [the] end of the earth.
7 Voici ce que dit le Seigneur, le rédempteur d’Israël, son saint, à une âme méprisable, à une nation détestée, à l’esclave de ceux qui le dominent: Les rois te verront, et les princes se lèveront, et ils l’adoreront à cause du Seigneur, parce qu’il est fidèle, et à cause du saint d’Israël qui t’a choisi.
Thus he says Yahweh [the] redeemer of Israel holy [one] its to despise life to [one who] abhors a nation to a servant of rulers kings they will see and they will stand up princes so they may bow down on account of Yahweh who [is] faithful [the] holy [one] of Israel and he has chosen you.
8 Voici ce que dit le Seigneur: En un temps favorable je t’ai exaucé, et en un jour de salut je t’ai secouru, je t’ai conservé, et je t’ai établi pour faire alliance avec un peuple, afin que tu rétablisses une terre, et que tu possèdes des héritages dissipés;
Thus - he says Yahweh in a time of favor I will answer you and on a day of salvation I will help you and I will watch over you and I will make you a covenant of [the] people to raise up [the] land to give as inheritance inheritances desolate.
9 Afin que tu dises à ceux qui étaient dans les fers: Sortez; et à ceux qui étaient dans les ténèbres: Venez à la lumière. Sur les chemins, ils trouveront à paître, et dans toutes les plaines seront leurs pâturages.
To say to [the] prisoners come out to [those] who [are] in darkness reveal yourselves on roads they will graze and [will be] on all bare heights pasture their.
10 Ils n’auront pas faim, ni soif; la chaleur ne les atteindra pas, ni le soleil; parce que celui qui a pitié d’eux les conduira, et à des sources d’eaux il les fera boire.
Not they will be hungry and not they will be thirsty and not it will strike them burning heat and sun for [one who] has compassion on them he will guide them and to springs of water he will lead them.
11 Et je disposerai toutes mes montagnes en une voie, et mes sentiers seront élevés.
And I will make all mountains my into road and highways my they will be lifted up!
12 Voici que ceux-ci viendront de loin, et voici que ceux-là viendront de l’aquilon et de la mer, et ceux-ci de la terre du midi.
Here! these from a distance they will come and here! these from [the] north and from [the] west and these from [the] land of Sinim.
13 Louez, cieux; exulte, terre; montagnes, faites retentir la louange, parce que le Seigneur a consolé son peuple, et qu’il aura pitié de ses pauvres.
Shout for joy O heaven and be glad O earth (and break forth *Q(K)*) O mountains a shout of joy for he has comforted Yahweh people his and afflicted [people] his he has compassion on.
14 Et Sion a dit: Le Seigneur m’a abandonnée, et le Seigneur m’a oubliée.
And it said Zion he has forsaken me Yahweh and [the] Lord he has forgotten me.
15 Est-ce qu’une mère peut oublier son enfant, de sorte qu’elle n’ait pas pitié du fils de son sein? mais quand même elle l’oublierait, pour moi, je ne l’oublierai point.
¿ Will she forget a woman sucking child her from having compassion on [the] child of womb her also these they will forget and I not I will forget you.
16 Voici que je t’ai gravée dans mes mains; tes murs sont devant mes yeux sans cesse.
Here! on palms of hands I have inscribed you walls your [are] before me continually.
17 Ils sont venus, tes constructeurs; ceux qui te détruisaient et te dissipaient, sortiront de ton enceinte.
They have made haste children your [those who] tear down you and [those who] make desolate you from you they will go out.
18 Lève tes yeux tout autour et vois; tous ceux-ci se sont rassemblés, et ils sont venus à toi, Je vis, moi, dit le Seigneur: de tous ceux-ci, comme d’un ornement, tu seras revêtue, et tu t’en pareras comme une épouse.
Lift up all around eyes your and see all of them they have gathered together they have come to you [by] [the] life of me [the] utterance of Yahweh that all of them like ornament[s] you will put on and you will tie on them like bride.
19 Tes déserts et tes solitudes, et ta terre ruinée seront maintenant étroits eu égard aux habitants, et ils seront mis en fuite au loin, ceux qui te dévoraient.
For waste places your and desolate [places] your and [the] land of destruction your for now you will be [too] cramped for [the] inhabitant[s] and they will be far away [those who] swallowed up you.
20 Ils te diront encore à tes oreilles, les fils de ta stérilité: Le lieu est étroit; fais-moi de l’espace, afin que j’habite.
Yet they will say in ears your [the] children of bereavement your it is cramped for me the place draw near! for me so let me dwell.
21 Et tu diras dans ton cœur: Qui m’a engendré ceux-ci? j’étais stérile, et je n’enfantais pas; exilée et captive; et ceux-ci, qui les a nourris? j’étais abandonnée et seule, et ceux-ci, où étaient-ils?
And you will say in heart your who? did he father for me these [children] and I [was] bereaved and barren gone into exile - and thrust away and these [children] who? did he bring up here! I I remained to alone me these [children] where? [are] they.
22 Voici ce que dit le Seigneur Dieu: Voici que vers des nations j’élèverai ma main, et devant des peuples je hausserai mon étendard; et ils apporteront tes fils entre leurs bras, et tes filles, ils les porteront sur leurs épaules.
Thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh here! I will lift up to [the] nations hand my and to peoples I will raise standard my and they will bring sons your in a bosom and daughters your on a shoulder they will be carried.
23 Et les rois seront tes nourriciers, et les reines tes nourrices; la face contre terre, ils se prosterneront devant toi, et ils lécheront la poussière de tes pieds. Et tu sauras que je suis le Seigneur, dans lequel ne seront pas confondus ceux qui l’attendent.
And they will be kings foster-fathers your and princesses their suckling-nurses your faces ground they will bow down to you and [the] dust of feet your they will lick up and you will know that I [am] Yahweh whom not they will be ashamed [those who] wait for me.
24 Est-ce qu’on ôtera à un homme fort sa proie? ou ce qui a été pris par un homme robuste, pourra-t-il être sauvé?
¿ Will it be taken from a warrior booty and or? [the] captive[s] of [the] righteous will it escape.
25 Parce que voici ce que dit le Seigneur: Certainement et les captifs seront ôtés à un homme fort, et ce qui aura été enlevé par un homme robuste sera sauvé. Or ceux qui t’ont jugée, moi je les jugerai, et tes fils, moi je les sauverai.
For thus - he says Yahweh also a captive of a warrior he will be taken and [the] booty of a ruthless [person] it will be delivered and opponent your I I will oppose and children your I I will save.
26 Et je nourrirai tes ennemis de leurs propres chairs, et comme d’un vin nouveau je les enivrerai de leur sang; et toute chair saura que c’est moi le Seigneur qui te sauve, et que ton rédempteur est le fort de Jacob.
And I will cause to eat [those who] maltreat you own flesh their and like sweet wine own blood their they will become drunk! and they will know all flesh that I [am] Yahweh deliverer your and redeemer your [the] mighty one of Jacob.
