Isaïe 28
1 Malheur à la couronne d’orgueil, aux hommes ivres d’Ephraïm, à la fleur qui tombe, à la gloire de son exultation, à ceux qui étaient au haut de la vallée très grasse, chancelant par le vin.
Woe to! [the] crown of pride of [the] drunkards of Ephraim and a flower withering [the] beauty of splendor its which [is] on [the] head of a valley of fatness [those] struck down of wine.
2 Voici que le Seigneur fort et puissant sera comme l’impétuosité de la grêle, comme un tourbillon qui brise, comme l’impétuosité des grandes eaux inondantes, et lâchées sur une terre spacieuse.
There! a mighty [one] and a strong [one] [belongs] to [the] Lord like a storm of hail a tempest of destruction like a storm of water mighty overflowing he will thrust [it] down to the ground with a hand.
3 Aux pieds sera foulée la couronne d’orgueil des hommes ivres d’Ephraïm.
With feet they will be trampled [the] crown of pride of [the] drunkards of Ephraim.
4 Et elle tombera, la fleur de la gloire et de l’exultation de celui qui est au haut des vallées grasses, comme le fruit venant à temps avant l’automne; dès que quelqu’un le voyant l’aura regardé et pris de sa main, il le dévorera.
And it will be a flower withering [the] beauty of splendor its which [is] on [the] head of a valley of fatness like an early fig before summer which he will see the [one who] sees it while still it [is] in hand his he will swallow it.
5 En ce jour-là, le Seigneur des armées sera une couronne de gloire, et un bouquet d’exultation pour le reste de son peuple;
In the day that he will become Yahweh of hosts a crown of beauty and a diadem of splendor for [the] remnant of people his.
6 Et un esprit de jugement pour celui qui sera assis sur le tribunal du jugement, et une force pour ceux qui retourneront de la guerre à la porte de la ville.
And a spirit of justice for the [one who] sits on judgment and strength [those who] turn back battle [the] gate towards.
7 Mais ceux-ci même ont manqué de connaissance par le vin, et par l’ivresse ils ont chancelé; le prêtre et le prophète ont manqué de connaissance par l’ivresse; absorbés par le vin, ils ont chancelé dans l’ivresse, ils n’ont pas connu le voyant, ils ont ignoré la justice.
And also these with wine they reeled and with strong drink they staggered priest and prophet they reeled with strong drink they were confused from wine they staggered from strong drink they reeled in the vision they tottered decision.
8 Car toutes les tables ont été remplies de vomissement et d’ordures, en sorte qu’il n’y avait plus un lieu sans souillure.
For all [the] tables they are full vomit filth not room.
9 À qui enseignera-t-il la science? à qui fera-t-il comprendre ce qui aura été entendu? à des enfants qu’on vient de sevrer, d’arracher aux mamelles.
Whom? will he teach knowledge and whom? will he make understand [the] message [those] weaned from milk [ones] removed from breasts.
10 Parce qu’ils disent: Commande, commande encore, commande, commande encore, attends, attends encore, attends, attends encore, un peu là, un peu là.
For command to [the] command command to [the] command line to [the] line line to [the] line a little there a little there.
11 Car dans un autre langage de lèvres et une autre langue, il parlera à ce peuple,
For by stammerings of lip and by a tongue another he will speak to the people this.
12 Auquel il avait dit: Voici mon repos, soulagez celui qui est fatigué, et voici mon rafraîchissement; et ils n’ont pas voulu entendre.
Whom - he said to them this [is] the resting place give rest to the weary and this [is] the place of rest and not they were willing to listen.
13 Et telle sera la parole que le Seigneur leur adressera: Commande, commande encore, commande, commande encore, attends, attends encore, attends, attends encore, un peu là, un peu là; afin qu’ils aillent, et qu’ils tombent en arrière, et qu’ils soient brisés, qu’ils donnent dans le piège et qu’ils y soient pris.
And it will be to them [the] word of Yahweh command to [the] command command to [the] command line to [the] line line to [the] line a little there a little there so that they may go and they will stumble backwards and they will be broken and they will be ensnared and they will be captured.
14 À cause de cela, écoutez la parole du Seigneur, hommes railleurs qui dominez sur mon peuple qui est à Jérusalem.
Therefore hear [the] word of Yahweh O people of mockery O rulers of the people this who [are] in Jerusalem.
15 Car vous avez dit: Nous avons contracté une alliance avec la mort, et avec l’enfer nous avons fait un pacte. Le fléau débordant, lorsqu’il passera, ne viendra pas sur nous; parce que nous avons établi le mensonge notre espérance, et que par le mensonge nous avons été protégés. (Sheol h7585)
For you have said we have made a covenant with death and with Sheol we have made an agreement (a scourge *Q(K)*) overflowing if (it will pass by *Q(K)*) not it will come to us for we have made falsehood refuge our and in deception we have hidden ourselves. (Sheol h7585)
16 C’est pourquoi le Seigneur Dieu dit ceci: Voici que moi je poserai dans les fondements de Sion une pierre, une pierre éprouvée, angulaire, précieuse, enfoncée dans le fondement; que celui qui croit, ne se hâte pas.
Therefore thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh here I he has laid in Zion a stone a stone of testing a corner of preciousness of a foundation founded the [one who] trusts not he will make haste.
17 Et j’établirai avec un poids le jugement, et la justice avec mesure; et la grêle détruira l’espérance du mensonge; et la protection, les eaux l’inonderont.
And I will make justice a measuring-line and righteousness a leveling tool and it will sweep away hail [the] refuge of falsehood and [the] shelter waters they will overflow.
18 Et votre alliance avec la mort sera détruite, votre pacte avec l’enfer ne subsistera pas; quant au fléau débordant, lorsqu’il passera, vous en serez accablés. (Sheol h7585)
And it will be annulled covenant your with death and agreement your with Sheol not it will stand a scourge overflowing if it will pass by and you will become for it a trampling place. (Sheol h7585)
19 Toutes les fois qu’il passera, il vous emportera; puisque dès le matin à l’aube, il passera pendant le jour et pendant la nuit; et il n’y aura seulement que le tourment qui donnera l’intelligence à l’ouïe.
As often as passes by it it will take you for in the morning in the morning it will pass by in the day and in the night and it will be only terror to understand [the] message.
20 Car la couche a été resserrée, de manière que si deux s’y placent, l’un tombera; et la couverture étroite ne peut les couvrir l’un et l’autre.
For it is [too] short the bed for stretching oneself and the blanket it is narrow when wraps oneself up.
21 Car comme sur la montagne des divisions, le Seigneur se lèvera; comme dans la vallée qui est en Gabaon, il se mettra en colère; afin de faire son œuvre, son œuvre étrangère; afin d’opérer son œuvre, son œuvre qui lui est est étrangère.
For like [the] mountain of Perazim he will arise Yahweh like a valley in Gibeon he will rage to do deed his [is] strange deed his and to work work his [is] alien work his.
22 Et maintenant ne vous jouez point, de peur que vos liens ne se resserrent; car j’ai appris du Seigneur Dieu des armées la destruction et le retranchement qu’il va faire sur la terre tout entière.
And therefore may not you show yourself a mocker lest they should become strong fetters your for complete destruction and [what] has been decided I have heard from with [the] Lord Yahweh of hosts on all the land.
23 Prêtez l’oreille, et écoutez ma voix; soyez attentifs, et écoutez ma parole.
Give ear and hear voice my pay attention and hear utterance my.
24 Est-ce que pendant tout le jour, le laboureur labourera afin de semer; fendra-t-il les mottes, et sarclera-t-il sa terre?
¿ All the day does he plow the plowman to sow does he loosen? and he may harrow? land his.
25 Est-ce que, lorsqu’il en aura égalisé la surface, il ne sèmera pas de la nigelle et il ne répandra pas du cumin, et il ne mettra pas du blé par rangée, et de l’orge, et du millet, et de la vesce dans ses confins?
¿ Not if he has leveled surface its and does he scatter black cumin and cumin does he sprinkle? and does he put? wheat a row and barley an appointed [place] and spelt territory its.
26 Et son Dieu lui donnera le discernement; son Dieu l’instruira.
And he instructs him to judgment God his he teaches him.
27 Car la nigelle ne sera pas triturée avec des traîneaux à pointes de fer, ni la roue du chariot ne circulera sur le cumin; mais avec une verge on battra la nigelle, et le cumin avec un fléau.
That not with threshing sledge it is threshed black cumin and a wheel of a cart over cumin it is turned for with staff it is beaten out black cumin and cumin with rod.
28 Mais le pain sera brisé; cependant ce ne sera pas à perpétuité que celui qui le triture le triturera, et que la roue du chariot le pressera, et qu’avec ses ongles il le brisera.
Bread it is crushed for not to perpetuity certainly anyone threshes it and he sets in motion [the] wheel of cart his and horses his not he crushes it.
29 Ceci est venu du Seigneur Dieu des armées, pour faire admirer ses conseils et signaler sa justice.
Also this from with Yahweh of hosts it has gone out he has made wonderful counsel he has made great sound wisdom.
