Hébreux 13
1 Que la charité fraternelle demeure en vous:
Brotherly love should abide.
2 Et ne négligez pas l’hospitalité, car c’est par elle que quelques-uns ont donné, sans le savoir, l’hospitalité à des anges.
Of hospitality not do forget; through this for unawares some have entertained angels.
3 Souvenez-vous de ceux qui sont dans les liens, comme si vous y étiez avec eux; et des affligés, comme demeurant vous-mêmes dans un corps.
do remember prisoners as bound with [them], [and] those being mistreated as also yourselves being in [the] body.
4 Que le mariage soit honoré en toutes choses, et le lit nuptial sans souillure; car les fornicateurs et les adultères. Dieu les jugera.
Honorable [let] marriage [be] in all and the marriage bed undefiled; [the] sexually immoral (for *N(k)O*) and adulterers will judge God.
5 Que votre vie soit sans avarice, vous contentant de ce que vous avez; car lui-même a dit: Je ne t’abandonnerai ni ne te délaisserai.
[Let be] without covetousness [your] manner of life; being satisfied with the present; He Himself for has said: Certainly not you shall I leave, nor certainly not you (shall I forsake; *NK(o)*)
6 Ainsi, disons avec confiance: Le Seigneur m’est aide; je ne craindrai point ce qu’un homme peut me faire.
So are confident we to say: [The] Lord [is] my helper, and not I will be afraid; what will do to me man?
7 Souvenez-vous de vos préposés qui vous ont prêché la parole de Dieu; et considérant la fin de leur vie, imitez leur foi.
do remember those leading you, who spoke to you the word of the God, of whom considering the outcome of [their] way of life, do imitate the faith.
8 Jésus-Christ était hier, il est aujourd’hui, et il sera le même dans tous les siècles. (aiōn g165)
Jesus Christ yesterday and today [is] the same and to the ages. (aiōn g165)
9 Ne vous laissez point emporter à des doctrines diverses et étrangères. Car il est bon d’affermir le cœur par la grâce, et non par des distinctions de viandes, lesquelles n’ont point servi à ceux qui s’y conformaient.
by teachings various and strange not (do be taken away; *N(k)O*) [it is] good for by grace to be strengthened for the heart not by foods in which not they profited those (being devoted. *N(k)O*)
10 Nous avons un autel dont n’ont pas le droit de manger ceux qui servent dans le tabernacle.
We have an altar from which to eat not they have authority those in the tabernacle serving.
11 Car les corps des animaux dont le sang est porté par le pontife dans le sanctuaire sont brûlés hors du camp.
Whose for is brought of animals the blood [as sacrifices] for sin into the Holy [Places] through the high priest, of those the bodies are burned outside the camp.
12 C’est pourquoi Jésus lui-même, pour sanctifier le peuple par son sang, a souffert hors de la porte.
Therefore also Jesus, so that he may sanctify through the own blood the people, outside the gate suffered.
13 Allons donc à lui hors du camp, portant son opprobre.
Therefore we may go forth to Him outside the camp the reproach of Him bearing;
14 Car nous n’avons point ici de cité permanente, mais nous cherchons la cité future.
Not for we have here an abiding city, but the coming [one] we are seeking for.
15 Par lui donc offrons à Dieu une hostie de louange, c’est-à-dire le fruit de lèvres qui confessent son nom.
Through Him then we may offer [the] sacrifice of praise (through *N(K)O*) (all [times] *N(k)O*) to God, That is [the] fruit of [the] lips confessing the name of Him.
16 N’oubliez point non plus la charité et la communication de vos biens; car c’est par de telles hosties qu’on se concilie Dieu.
And the good and of sharing not do be forgetful; with such for sacrifices is well pleased God.
17 Obéissez à vos préposés, et soyez-leur soumis (car ce sont eux qui veillent, comme devant rendre compte de vos âmes), afin qu’ils le fassent avec joie, et non en gémissant; cela ne vous serait pas avantageux.
do obey to those leading you and do be submissive; they themselves for watch over the souls of you as an account to be giving that with joy this they may do and not groaning; unprofitable indeed for you [is] this.
18 Priez pour nous; car nous croyons avoir une bonne conscience, voulant en toutes choses nous bien conduire.
do pray for us; (we are assured *N(k)O*) for that a good conscience we have in all things well desiring to conduct ourselves.
19 Et je vous conjure, avec une nouvelle instance, de le faire, afin que je vous sois plus tôt rendu.
More abundantly now I exhort [you] this to do, so that quicker I may be restored to you.
20 Que le Dieu de paix, qui, par le sang du testament éternel, a retiré d’entre les morts le grand pasteur des brebis, Notre-Seigneur Jésus-Christ, (aiōnios g166)
[May] the now God of peace, having brought out from [the] dead the Shepherd of the sheep great by [the] blood of [the] covenant eternal, the Lord of us Jesus, (aiōnios g166)
21 Vous rende propres à tout bien, afin que vous fassiez sa volonté; lui-même faisant eu vous ce qui lui est agréable, par Jésus-Christ à qui est la gloire dans les siècle des siècles. Amen. (aiōn g165)
would he equip you in everything (work *KO*) good in order to do the will of Him working in (us *N(K)O*) that which [is] well pleasing before Him through Jesus Christ; to whom [be] the glory to the ages of the ages, Amen. (aiōn g165)
22 Je vous prie, mes frères, d’agréer cette parole de consolation, car je ne vous ai écrit qu’en peu de mots.
I exhort now you, brothers, do bear with the word of exhortation; only for in few words I have written to you.
23 Sachez que notre frère Timothée est en liberté; c’est avec lui (s’il vient bientôt) que je vous verrai.
You know the brother (of us *no*) Timothy released with whom if quicker he shall come, I will see you.
24 Saluez tous vos préposés et tous les saints. Les frères d’Italie vous saluent.
do greet all those leading you and all the saints. Greet you those from Italy.
25 Que la grâce soit avec vous tous. Amen.
