Esdras 7
1 Or, après ces choses, sous le règne d’Artaxerxès, roi des Perses, Esdras, fils de Saraïas, fils d’Azarias, fils de Helcias,
And after the things these in [the] reign of Artaxerxes [the] king of Persia Ezra [the] son of Seraiah [the] son of Azariah [the] son of Hilkiah.
2 Fils de Sellum, fils de Sadoc, fils d’Achitob,
[the] son of Shallum [the] son of Zadok [the] son of Ahitub.
3 Fils d’Amarias, fils d’Azarias, fils de Maraïoth,
[the] son of Amariah [the] son of Azariah [the] son of Meraioth.
4 Fils de Zarahias, fils d’Ozi, fils de Bocci,
[the] son of Zerahiah [the] son of Uzzi [the] son of Bukki.
5 Fils d’Abisué, fils de Phinéès, fils d’Eléazar, fils d’Aaron, prêtre dès le commencement,
[the] son of Abishua [the] son of Phinehas [the] son of Eleazar [the] son of Aaron the priest the chief.
6 Esdras lui-même monta de Babylone, et il était scribe habile dans la loi de Moïse, que le Seigneur Dieu a donnée à Israël; et le roi lui accorda toute sa demande, à cause que la main du Seigneur son Dieu était sur lui.
That Ezra he came up from Babylon and he [was] a scribe skilled in [the] law of Moses which he had given Yahweh [the] God of Israel and he gave to him the king according to [the] hand of Yahweh God his on him all request his.
7 Or il monta des enfants d’Israël, des fils des prêtres, des fils des Lévites, des chantres, des portiers et des Nathinéens, à Jérusalem, la septième année du roi Artaxerxès.
And they came up some of [the] people of Israel and some of the priests and the Levites and the singers and the gatekeepers and the temple servants to Jerusalem in year seven of Artaxerxes the king.
8 Et ils vinrent à Jérusalem au cinquième mois; c’est la septième année du roi;
And he came Jerusalem in the month fifth it [was] [the] year seventh of the king.
9 Parce qu’au premier jour du premier mois, Esdras commença à monter de Babylone, et, au premier jour du cinquième mois, il vint à Jérusalem, à cause que la main favorable de son Dieu était sur lui.
For on [day] one of the month first it [was] [the] beginning of the going up from Babylon and on [day] one of the month fifth he came to Jerusalem according to [the] hand of God his good on him.
10 Car Esdras disposa son cœur à rechercher la loi du Seigneur, et à faire et à enseigner en Israël les préceptes et les ordonnances.
For Ezra he had directed heart his to study [the] law of Yahweh and to do [it] and to teach in Israel decree and judgment.
11 Or voici la copie de la lettre contenant l’édit que donna le roi Artaxerxès à Esdras, le prêtre instruit dans les paroles et les préceptes du Seigneur et dans ses cérémonies en Israël:
And this - [is] [the] copy of the letter which he gave the king Artaxerxes to Ezra the priest the scribe [the] scribe of [the] matters of [the] commandments of Yahweh and statutes his on Israel.
12 Artaxerxès, roi des rois, à Esdras, le prêtre, scribe de la loi du Dieu du ciel, très instruit, salut.
Artaxerxes [the] king of kings to Ezra priest the [the] scribe of law the of [the] God of heavens the perfect and now.
13 Il a été ordonné par moi que quiconque dans mon royaume est du peuple d’Israël, et de ses prêtres et de ses Lévites, et à qui il plaira de monter à Jérusalem, aille avec toi:
From me it is made a decree that every [one who] volunteers in kingdom my from people the Israel and priests its and Levites the to go to Jerusalem with you he will go.
14 Car tu es envoyé de la part du roi et de ses sept conseillers, afin que tu visites la Judée et Jérusalem, selon la loi de ton Dieu, qui est en ta main;
As to because that from before king the and seven counselors his [you are] sent to enquire on Judah and to Jerusalem in [the] law of God your which [is] in hand your.
15 Et afin que tu portes l’argent et l’or que le roi et ses conseillers ont spontanément offerts au Dieu d’Israël, dont le tabernacle est à Jérusalem!
And to carry silver and gold which king the and counselors his they have offered freely to [the] God of Israel who [is] in Jerusalem abode his.
16 Et tout l’argent et l’or que tu trouveras dans toute la province de Babylone, que le peuple voudra offrir, et ce que quelques-uns d’entre les prêtres auront spontanément offert à la maison de leur Dieu, qui est à Jérusalem,
And all [the] silver and [the] gold which you will find in all [the] province of Babylon with [the] freewill offering of people the and priests the [who] have offered freely for [the] house of God their which [is] in Jerusalem.
17 Prends-le librement, et achète soigneusement avec cet argent des veaux, des béliers, des agneaux, des sacrifices et leurs libations, et offre-les sur l’autel du temple de votre Dieu, qui est à Jérusalem.
As to because this diligently you will buy with silver the this bulls - rams lambs and grain offerings their and drink offerings their so you may offer them on altar the of [the] house of God your which [is] in Jerusalem.
18 Mais de plus, s’il te plaît, à toi et à tes frères, de faire quelque chose avec le reste de l’argent et de l’or, faites-le selon la volonté de Dieu.
And whatever that (to you *Q(k)*) and to (brothers your *Q(k)*) (it is good *LH(ab)*) with [the] rest of silver the and gold the to do according to [the] will of God your you will do.
19 Les vases aussi qui te sont donnés pour le service de la maison de ton Dieu, mets-les en la présence de Dieu à Jérusalem;
And vessels the which [have been] given to you for [the] worship of [the] house of God your make complete before [the] God of Jerusalem.
20 Mais quant à toutes les autres choses dont on a besoin pour la maison de ton Dieu, quelque considérable que soit ce qu’il sera nécessaire que tu dépenses, il te sera donné du trésor et du fisc du roi,
And [the] rest of [the] thing[s] needed of [the] house of God your which it will fall to you to give you will give from [the] house of [the] treasures of king the.
21 Et par moi. Moi, Artaxerxès, le roi, j’ai établi et j’ai ordonné à tous les gardes du trésor public qui sont au-delà du fleuve, disant: Que tout ce que vous demandera Esdras, le prêtre, le scribe de la loi du Dieu du ciel, vous le donniez sans délai,
And from me I Artaxerxes king the it is made a decree to all treasurers the who [are] in [the] region beyond river the that all that he will ask for you Ezra priest the [the] scribe of law the of [the] God of heavens the diligently let it be done.
22 Jusqu’à cent talents d’argent, et jusqu’à cent cors de froment, et jusqu’à cent bats de vin, et jusqu’à cent bats d’huile: mais du sel sans mesure.
Up to silver talents one hundred and up to wheat cors one hundred and up to wine baths one hundred and up to baths oil one hundred and salt which not [is] writing.
23 Que tout ce qui appartient au culte du Dieu du ciel soit fourni soigneusement dans la maison du Dieu du ciel, de peur qu’il ne s’irrite contre le royaume du roi et de ses fils.
All that [is] according to [the] decree of [the] God of heavens the let it be done exactly for [the] house of [the] God of heavens the that why? will it be anger on [the] kingdom of king the and sons his.
24 À vous aussi nous faisons savoir, par rapport à tous les prêtres, Lévites, chantres, portiers, Nathinéens et ministres de cette maison de Dieu, que vous n’avez le pouvoir d’imposer sur eux ni impôts, ni tribut, ni vivres.
And to you [we are] making known that all priests the and Levites the singers the gatekeepers the temple servants the and [the] servants of [the] house of God this tribute tax and toll not [is] authorized to throw on them.
25 Or toi, Esdras, selon la sagesse de ton Dieu laquelle est en ta main, établis des juges, et des présidents, afin qu’ils jugent tout le peuple qui est au-delà du fleuve, c’est-à-dire ceux qui connaissent la loi de ton Dieu; mais les ignorants, enseigne-les librement.
And you O Ezra according to [the] wisdom of God your which [is] in hand your appoint judges and judges that they will be (judging *Q(k)*) all people the which [is] in [the] region beyond river the all [those who] know [the] laws of God your and [one] who not [he is] knowing you will instruct.
26 Et quiconque n’observera point la loi de ton Dieu, et la loi du roi soigneusement, il y aura contre lui une condamnation, soit à la mort, soit à l’exil, soit à la confiscation de ses biens, ou certainement à la prison.
And any who not he will be doing law the of God your and decree the of king the diligently judgment let it be done from him whether to death or (to banishment *Q(k)*) or to confiscation of properti and to imprisonment.
27 Béni le Seigneur, Dieu de nos pères, qui a mis dans le cœur du roi de glorifier la maison du Seigneur qui est à Jérusalem,
[be] blessed Yahweh [the] God of ancestors our who he has put like this in [the] heart of the king to beautify [the] house of Yahweh which [is] in Jerusalem.
28 Et qui a incliné sa miséricorde vers moi devant le roi et ses conseillers, et devant tous les puissants princes du roi! Et moi, fortifié par la main du Seigneur mon Dieu, laquelle était sur moi, j’ai assemblé les princes d’Israël pour monter avec moi.
And towards me he has extended covenant loyalty before the king and counselors his and to all [the] officials of the king mighty and I I strengthened myself according to [the] hand of Yahweh God my on me and I assembled! from Israel chiefs to go up with me.
