Ézéchiel 48

1 Et voici les noms des tribus, depuis les confins de l’aquilon, le long de la voie de Béthalon, lorsqu’on va à Emath: la cour d’Enan sera la borne du côté de Damas vers l’aquilon, le long de la voie d’Emath. Et à lui sera le côté oriental, la mer; Dan, une portion.

Now these are the names of the tribes: At the edge, on the north side, along the road on the way to Chethlon, as far as Chamath, Chazar-'enan, the boundary of Damascus northward, alongside of Chamath, there shall be from the east side to the west for Dan one portion.

2 Et sur la frontière de Dan, depuis le côté oriental jusqu’au côté de la mer, Aser, une portion.

And by the boundary of Dan, from the east side unto the west side, for Asher one portion.

3 Et sur la frontière d’Aser, depuis le côté oriental jusqu’au côté de la mer, Nephthali, une portion.

And by the boundary of Asher, from the east side even unto the west side, for Naphtali one portion.

4 Et sur la frontière de Nephthali, depuis le côté de l’orient jusqu’au côté de la mer, Manassé, une portion.

And by the boundary of Naphtali, from the east side unto the west side, for Menasseh one portion.

5 Et sur la frontière de Manassé, depuis le côté oriental jusqu’au côté de la mer, Ephraïm, une portion.

And by the boundary of Menasseh, from the east side unto the west side, for Ephraim one portion.

6 Et sur la frontière d’Ephraïm, depuis le côté oriental jusqu’au côté de la mer, Ruben, une portion.

And by the boundary of Ephraim, from the east side even unto the west side, for Reuben one portion.

7 Et sur la frontière de Ruben, depuis le côté oriental jusqu’au côté de la mer, Juda, une portion.

And by the boundary of Reuben, from the east side unto the west side, for Judah one portion.

8 Et sur la frontière de Juda, depuis le côté oriental jusqu’au côté de la mer, seront les prémices que vous séparerez; elles seront de vingt-cinq mille mesures de largeur et de longueur comme chacune des portions depuis le côté oriental jusqu’au côté de la mer; et le sanctuaire sera au milieu de cette portion.

And by the boundary of Judah, from the east side unto the west side, shall be the oblation which ye shall set aside of five and twenty thousand rods in breadth, and in length as one of the other parts, from the east side unto the west side: and the sanctuary shall be in the midst of it.

9 Quant aux prémices que vous séparerez pour le Seigneur, leur longueur sera de vingt-cinq mille mesures, et leur largeur de dix mille.

The oblation that ye shall set aside unto the Lord shall be in length five and twenty thousand [rods], and in breadth ten thousand.

10 Or ces prémices du sanctuaire des prêtres seront, vers l’aquilon, d’une longueur de vingt-cinq mille mesures, et vers la mer d’une largeur de dix mille; mais aussi vers l’orient d’une largeur de dix mille, et vers le midi d’une longueur de vingt-cinq mille; et le sanctuaire du Seigneur sera au milieu de cette portion.

And to these shall belong the holy oblation, —namely to the priests, toward the north, five and twenty thousand rods [in length], and on the west ten thousand in breadth, and on the east ten thousand in breadth, and on the south five and twenty thousand in length: and the sanctuary of the Lord shall be in the midst of it.

11 Le sanctuaire sera pour les prêtres, d’entre les fils de Sadoc qui ont gardé mes cérémonies, et qui ne se sont pas égarés, lorsque les enfants d’Israël s’égaraient, comme se sont égarés les Lévites mêmes.

Unto the priests, that are sanctified, of the sons of Zadok, who have kept my charge, who went not astray when the children of Israel went astray, as the Levites went astray.

12 Et ils auront pour prémices, au milieu des prémices de la terre, le saint des saints, le long de la frontière des Lévites.

To them shall thus belong the portion set aside of the oblation of the land as a most holy thing by the boundary of the Levites.

13 Mais les Lévites aussi auront également, le long des confins des prêtres, vingt-cinq mille coudées de longueur, et de largeur dix mille. Toute la longueur de leur portion sera de vingt-cinq mille, et la largeur de dix mille.

And the Levites shall have alongside the boundary of the priests five and twenty thousand rods in length, and in breadth ten thousand; the whole in length five and twenty thousand, and in breadth ten thousand.

14 Et ils n’en vendront point et n’en changeront point; ces prémices de la terre ne seront point transférées à d’autres, parce qu’elles ont été consacrées au Seigneur.

But they shall not sell aught thereof, or exchange, or alienate this first portion of the land; for it is holy unto the Lord.

15 Mais les cinq mille mesures qui restent de largeur sur les vingt-cinq mille, seront profanes, et destinées aux édifices de la ville, et à ses faubourgs; et la cité sera au milieu de cette portion.

And the five thousand rods, that are left in the breadth, with a length of five and twenty thousand, shall be an unconsecrated land for the city, for dwelling, and for an open space: and the city shall be in the midst thereof.

16 Et voici quelles seront ses mesures: au côté septentrional, quatre mille et cinq cents; et au côté méridional, quatre mille et cinq cents; et au côté oriental, quatre mille et cinq cents; et au côté occidental, quatre mille et cinq cents.

And these shall be its measures: The north side four thousand and five hundred [rods], and the south side four thousand and five hundred, and on the east side four thousand and five hundred, and the west side four thousand and five hundred.

17 Mais les faubourgs de la cité en auront vers l’aquilon deux cent cinquante, et vers le midi, deux cent cinquante; et vers l’orient, deux cent cinquante; et vers la mer, deux cent cinquante.

And the open space of the city shall be toward the north two hundred and fifty [rods], and toward the south two hundred and fifty, and toward the east two hundred and fifty, and toward the west two hundred and fifty.

18 Quant à ce qui restera sur la longueur proche des prémices du sanctuaire, savoir dix mille mesures vers l’orient, et dix mille vers l’occident, elles seront comme les prémices mêmes du sanctuaire; et les fruits que l’on en retirera seront pour nourrir ceux qui serviront la cité.

And the produce of the residue in length alongside the holy oblation ten thousand rods eastward, and ten thousand westward, that which is alongside the holy oblation, shall be for food unto the laborers of the city.

19 Or ceux qui serviront à la cité s’y emploieront de toutes les tribus d’Israël.

And the laborers of the city, men taken out of all the tribes of Israel, shall till it.

20 Toutes les prémices de vingt-cinq mille mesures en carré seront séparées pour être les prémices du sanctuaire, et la possession de la cité.

All the oblation, five and twenty thousand [rods] by five and twenty thousand square, shall ye set apart as the holy oblation, with the possession of the city.

21 Mais ce qui restera sera au prince de tout côté, des prémices du sanctuaire, et de la possession de la cité, vis-à-vis des vingt-cinq mille mesures des prémices, jusqu’à la frontière orientale, et aussi vers la mer, vis-à-vis d-es vingt-cinq mille mesures, jusqu’à la limite de la mer, sera pareillement dans les portions du prince; et les prémices du sanctuaire et le sanctuaire du temple seront au milieu de ses portions.

And the residue shall belong to the prince, on the one side and on the other of the holy oblation, and of the possession of the city, alongside of the five and twenty thousand of the oblation toward the eastern boundary, and westward alongside the five and twenty thousand toward the western boundary, alongside the portions [of the tribes]; for the prince [shall it be]: and so shall be the holy oblation; and the sanctuary of the house shall be in the midst thereof.

22 Or ce qui restera de la possession des Lévites et de la possession de la cité, au milieu des portions du prince, sera entre la frontière de Juda et entre la frontière de Benjamin.

And both the possession of the Levites, and the possession of the city, shall be in the midst of that which belongeth to the prince: between the boundary of Judah and the boundary of Benjamin, shall be for the prince.

23 Et pour les autres tribus, depuis le côté oriental jusqu’au côté occidental, Benjamin, une portion.

As for the rest of the tribes, from the east side unto the west side, shall be for Benjamin one portion.

24 Et contre la frontière de Benjamin, depuis le côté oriental jusqu’au côté occidental, Siméon, une portion.

And by the boundary of Benjamin, from the east side unto the west side, for Simeon one portion.

25 Et sur la frontière de Siméon, depuis le côté oriental jusqu’au côté occidental, Issachar, une portion.

And by the boundary of Simeon, from the east side unto the west side, for Issachar one portion.

26 Et sur la frontière d’Issachar, depuis le côté oriental jusqu’ au côté occidental, Zabulon, une portion.

And by the boundary of Issachar, from the east side unto the west side, for Zebulun one portion.

27 Et sur la frontière de Zabulon, depuis le côté oriental jusqu’au côté de la mer, Gad, une portion.

And by the boundary of Zebulun, from the east side unto the west side, for Gad one portion.

28 Et sur la frontière de Gad, sera ce qui s’étend vers le côté de l’auster au midi; et sa limite sera depuis Thamar jusqu’aux eaux de contradiction de Cadès; son héritage s’étendra contre la grande mer.

And by the boundary of Gad, on the southern side toward the south, shall be the boundary from Thamar unto the waters of contention of Kadesh, unto the brook by the Great Sea.

29 Telle est la terre que vous distribuerez au sort entre les tribus d’Israël; et tels seront leurs partages, dit le Seigneur Dieu.

This is the land which ye shall divide by lot for an inheritance to the tribes of Israel, and these are their allotted divisions, saith the Lord Eternal.

30 Et voici les sorties de la ville: Du côté septentrional, tu mesureras quatre mille et cinq cents mesures.

And these are the outlines of the city: On the north side, five hundred and four thousand rods, by the measure.

31 Et les noms des portes de la ville seront d’après les noms des tribus d’Israël; trois portes au septentrion; la porte de Ruben, une, la porte de Juda, une, la porte de Lévi, une;

And of the gates of the city, being after the names of the tribes of Israel, shall be three gates on the north: the gate of Reuben one, the gate of Judah one, the gate of Levi one.

32 Et vers le côté oriental, tu mesureras quatre mille et cinq cents mesures; et il y aura trois portes: la porte de Joseph, une, la porte de Benjamin, une, la porte de Dan, une;

And on the east side, five hundred and four thousand rods, with three gates: namely, the gate of Joseph one, the gate of Benjamin one, the gate of Dan one.

33 Et vers le côté méridional, tu en mesureras quatre mille et cinq cents; et il y aura trois portes: la porte de Siméon, une, la porte d’Issachar, une, la porte de Zabulon, une;

And the south side, five hundred and four thousand rode by the measure, with three gates: the gate of Simeon one, the gate of Issachar one, the gate of Zebulun one.

34 Et vers le côté occidental, quatre mille et cinq cents; et il y aura trois portes: la porte de Gad, une, la porte d’Aser, une, la porte de Nephthali, une.

The west side, five hundred and four thousand rods, with their three gates: the gate of Gad one, the gate of Asher one, the gate of Naphtali one.

35 Par son circuit elle aura dix-huit raille mesures; et le nom de la cité sera depuis ce jour-là: Le Seigneur est là même.

All around it shall be eighteen thousand rods: and the name of the city shall be from that day “The Lord is there.”
