Ézéchiel 47

1 Et il me fit revenir vers la porte de la maison; et voici que des eaux sortaient de dessous le seuil vers l’orient; car la face de la maison regardait vers l’orient; or les eaux descendaient au côté droit du temple, vers le midi de l’autel.

Then he brought me back unto the entrance of the house, and lo! waters coming forth from under the threshold of the house eastward, because the front of the house, was to the east, —and the waters, were coming down from beneath, from the right side of the house, on the south of the altar.

2 Et il me fit sortir par la voie de la porte de l’aquilon, et me fit retourner vers la voie hors de la porte extérieure, voie qui regardait vers l’orient; et voici que les eaux venaient en abondance du côté droit.

Then he brought me out by way of the north gate, and took me round by an outer way, unto an outer gate that which looketh eastward—and lo! waters trickling forth out of the right side.

3 Lorsque l’homme fut sorti vers l’orient, ayant un cordeau en sa main, il mesura mille coudées, et il me fit passer dans l’eau jusqu’à la cheville des pieds.

When the man went forth with a measuring line in his hand, then measured he a thousand, by the cubit, and caused me to pass through the waters—waters reaching to the ankles.

4 Et de nouveau il mesura mille coudées, et il me fit passer dans l’eau jusqu’aux genoux.

Then measured he a thousand, and caused me to pass through the waters—waters reaching to the knees, —and again measured he a thousand, and caused me to pass through-waters reaching to the loins.

5 Il mesura encore mille coudées, et il me fit encore passer dans l’eau jusqu’aux reins. Il mesura de plus mille coudées, et ce fut un torrent que je ne pus passer, parce que les eaux de ce profond torrent s’étaient tellement enflées, qu’on ne pouvait le passer à gué.

Then measured he a thousand—a river which I could not pass through—for the waters had risen-waters to swim in, a river, that could not be forded.

6 Et il me dit: Certainement tu as vu, fils d’un homme. Et il me fit sortir et me fit retourner sur la rive du torrent.

Then said he unto me Hast thou seen son of man? Then he took me along and caused me to return to the bank of the river.

7 Et lorsque je me fus retourné, voici sur la rive du torrent beaucoup d’arbres des deux côtés.

When I returned, then lo! by the bank of the river, trees very many, —on this side and on that side.

8 Et il me dit: Ces eaux qui sortent vers les monceaux de sable de l’orient, et descendent dans les plaines du désert, entreront dans la mer et en sortiront, et S(? seaux seront assainies,

And he said unto me, These waters, are going forth unto the region toward the east and shall go down unto the waste plain, and shall enter the sea, unto the sea being led forth, then shall the waters be healed;

9 Et toute âme vivante qui rampe, vivra partout où viendra le torrent; et il y aura un très grand nombre de poissons, après que ces eaux y seront venues, et tout ce qui aura touché le torrent sera guéri et vivra.

And it shall come to pass that every living soul that swarmeth whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live, and the fish shall become a very great multitude; for these waters have come thither, that they may be healed so shall everything live whithersoever the river cometh.

10 Et les pêcheurs se tiendront sur ces eaux; et depuis Engaddi jusqu’à Engallim on séchera les filets; il y aura beaucoup d’espèces de ses poissons; comme les poissons de la grande mer, ils seront d’une multitude prodigieuse.

And it shall come to pass that there shall stand by it fishers, from En-gedi even unto En-eglaim, places for spreading out nets, shall they be, —after their kind, shall be their fish, like the fish of the great sea exceeding many.

11 Mais sur ses rivages et les marais qu’elle forme, les eaux ne seront pas assainies, parce qu’elles fourniront aux salines.

the swamps thereof and the pools thereof, shall not be healed to salt, have they been given up.

12 Et le long du torrent, il s’élèvera sur les bords aux deux côtés toutes sortes d’arbres fruitiers; leur feuille ne tombera point, et leur fruit ne fera pas défaut; à chaque mois il donnera des primeurs, parce que les eaux du torrent seront sorties du sanctuaire, et leurs fruits serviront à nourrir, et leurs feuilles à guérir.

And, by the river, shall grow up on the bank thereof on this side and on that side every tree for food the leaf whereof, shall not fade, neither shall fail the fruit thereof, by its months, shall it break forth, for, as for the waters thereof, out of the sanctuary, are they coming forth, —and the fruit thereof shall be, for food, and, the leaf thereof, for healing.

13 Voici ce que dit le Seigneur Dieu: Voici les bornes dans lesquelles vous posséderez la terre dans les douze tribus d’Israël, parce que Joseph a un double partage.

Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, This shall be the boundary whereby ye shall take your inheritances in the land, according to the twelve tribes of Israel, —Joseph shall have portions.

14 Mais vous posséderez tous également, chacun autant que son frère, de cette terre touchant laquelle j’ai levé la main que je la donnerais à vos pères; et cette terre vous tombera en possession.

so shall ye inherit it each man like his brother, as to which I lifted my hand to give it to your fathers, —so shall this land fall to you as an inheritance.

15 Or voici les bornes de cette terre: Du côté du septentrion, depuis la grande mer, par la voie de Héthalon en venant à Sédada,

This then shall be the boundary of the land, —on the north side, from the great sea by the way of Hethlon to the entering, in of Zedad;

16 Emath, Bérotha, Sabarim, qui est entre les limites de Damas, et les confins d’Emath; la maison de Tichon, qui est sur les limites d’Auran;

Hamath Berothah, Sibraim, which is between the boundary of Damascus and the boundary of Hamath, —Hazer-hatticon, which is by the boundary of Hauran.

17 Et ses bornes seront depuis la mer, jusqu’à la cour d’Enon qui fait les limites de Damas, et depuis un aquilon jusqu’à l’autre aquilon; les bornes d’Emath seront le côté septentrional.

Thus shall there be a boundary, from the sea Hazar-enin the boundary of Damascus, even the north northward and the boundary of Hamath, —even the north, side.

18 Or son côté oriental se prendra du milieu d’Auran et du milieu de Damas, et du milieu de Galaad et du milieu de la terre d’Israël; le Jourdain la bornera en tirant vers la mer orientale; vous mesurerez aussi le côté oriental.

And for the east side, from between Hauran and Damascus and from between Gilead and the land of Israel the Jordan, from the boundary by the sea eastward, shall ye measure—even the east side.

19 Mais le côté méridional, depuis Thamar jusqu’aux eaux de contradiction de Cadès, et depuis le torrent jusqu’à la grande mer; et c’est là le côté vers le midi.

And for the south side southward, from Tamar as far as the waters of Meriboth-kadesh, towards the torrent bed unto the great sea, —even the south side southward.

20 Et le côté de la mer sera la grande mer, à prendre en droite ligne, depuis la limite jusqu’à ce que tu viennes à Emath; c’est le côté de la mer.

And for the west side, the great sea, from the boundary as far as over against the entering in of Hamath— this is the west side.

21 Vous partagerez cette terre entre vous, selon les tribus d’Israël.

So then ye shall apportion this land to you by the tribes of Israel. —

22 Et vous la prendrez en héritage pour vous et pour les étrangers, qui se joindront à vous, et qui engendreront des enfants au milieu de vous; et ils seront pour vous comme des indigènes parmi les enfants d’Israël; ils partageront avec vous la terre de possession au milieu des tribus d’Israël.

And it shall come to pass that ye shall divide it by lot as an inheritance, to yourselves and to the sojourners who are sojourning in your midst, who have begotten children in your midst, —so shall they be to you as a native among the sons of Israel with you, shall they cast lots for an inheritance, in the midst of the tribes of Israel.

23 Et dans quelque tribu que soit un étranger, vous lui donnerez là son partage, dit le Seigneur Dieu.

And it shall be that with whatsoever tribe the sojourner hath become a sojourner, there shall ye give his inheritance, Declareth My Lord Yahweh.
