Ézéchiel 43
1 Et il me mena à la porte qui regardait vers la voie de l’orient.
Then he took me unto the gate, —even the gate that looked toward the east;
2 Et voilà que la gloire du Dieu d’Israël entrait par la voie de l’orient, et sa voix était comme la voix des grandes eaux, et la terre resplendissait de sa majesté.
when lo! the glory of the God of Israel coming from the way of the east, —and the sound of him, was as the sound of many waters, and the earth shone with his glory.
3 Et je vis une vision selon la ressemblance de celle que j’avais vue, quand il vint pour perdre la cité; et sa forme était selon la forme que j’avais vue près du fleuve de Chobar; et je tombai sur ma face.
And it was like the appearance of the vision which I had seen like the vision which I saw—when I came in to destroy the city, also the visions were like the vision which I saw by the river Chebar, —so I fell upon my face.
4 Et la majesté du Seigneur entra dans le temple par la porte qui regardait vers l’orient.
And the glory of Yahweh entered into the house, —by way of the gate which looked toward the east.
5 Et un esprit m’éleva, et m’introduisit dans le parvis intérieur; et voilà que la maison était remplie de la gloire du Seigneur.
So then the spirit lifted me up, and brought me into the inner court, —and lo! the glory of Yahweh filled the house.
6 Et j’entendis quelqu’un me parlant du temple; et un homme, qui se tenait près de moi,
Then heard I one speaking unto me. out of the house, —and a man, there was standing beside me.
7 Me dit: Fils d’un homme, ici est le lieu de mon trône, et le lieu des traces de mes pieds, où j’habite au milieu des enfants d’Israël pour jamais; la maison d’Israël ne souillera plus mon nom saint, ni eux-mêmes, ni leurs rois, par leurs fornications et par les ruines de leurs rois, et par les hauts lieux.
Then said he unto me, Son of man This is the place of my throne and the place of the soles of my feet where I would dwell in the midst of the sons of Israel to times age-abiding, - But the house of Israel must, no more defile my holy Name. They, nor their kings by their unchastity, and by the carcases of their kings in their high places,
8 Ils ont fait leur seuil près de mon seuil, et leurs poteaux près de mes poteaux; et un mur seulement était entre moi et eux; et ils ont souillé mon nom saint par les abominations qu’ils ont faites; à cause de quoi je les ai détruits dans ma colère.
When they placed— Their threshold by my threshold and their door-post beside my door-post, With, only the wall, between me and them, then defiled they my holy Name by their abominations which they committed, Wherefore I devoured them in mine anger.
9 Maintenant donc, qu’ils rejettent au loin leur fornication, et loin de moi les ruines de leurs rois, et j’habiterai toujours au milieu d’eux.
Now, let them remove their unchastity and the carcases of their kings far from me, - So will I make my habitation in the midst of them, to times age-abiding.
10 Mais, toi, fils d’un homme, montre à la maison d’Israël le temple, et qu’ils soient confondus de leurs iniquités, et qu’ils mesurent eux-même sa structure;
Thou, son of man, Declare the house unto the house of Israel, That they may be put to the blush for their iniquities, - Then let them measure the pattern.
11 Et qu’ils rougissent de toutes les choses qu’ils ont faites; montre-leur la figure de la maison et de sa structure, les entrées et toute sa description, et toutes les ordonnances les concernant et tout l’ordre qu’il faut y garder, et toutes les lois faites pour elle, et tu écriras toutes ces choses devant leurs yeux, afin qu’ils gardent tout ce qui aura été décrit et les ordonnances les concernant, et qu’ils les observent.
And when they have blushed for all that they have done, then The form of the house. And the arrangement thereof And the exits thereof. And the entrances thereof And all the forms thereof, and all the statutes thereof. And all the forms thereof and all the laws thereof, make thou known unto them, And write [it] before their eyes; That they may keep— All the forms thereof And all the statutes thereof. And do them.
12 Telle est la loi pour la maison sur le sommet de la montagne; toute son étendue à l’entour est très sainte; telle est donc la loi pour la maison.
This shall be the law of the house, — Upon the top of the mountain, all the boundary thereof round about on every side, [shall be] most holy, Lo! this, shall be the law of the house.
13 Or, voici les mesures de l’autel, prises avec la coudée très exacte qui avait une coudée et un palme; elle avait une coudée en profondeur et une coudée en largeur; et sa clôture jusqu’à son bord et tout à l’entour, un palme; ainsi telle était la fosse de l’autel.
And these, shall be the measures of the altar, in cubits, a cubit being a cubit and a handbreadth; and the hollow, shall be a cubit, and a cubit the breadth, and the boundary thereof unto the edge thereof round about shall be a single span. And this, shall be the upper part of the altar,
14 Du bas de la terre jusqu’au rebord inférieur il y avait deux coudées de hauteur, et la largeur de ce rebord était d’une coudée; et de ce rebord qui était le plus petit, jusqu’au rebord le plus grand, il y avait quatre coudées, et la largeur de ce rebord était d’une coudée.
And from the hollow of the ground unto the lower ledge, [shall be] two cubits, and the breadth, one cubit, - and from the smaller ledge unto the larger ledge, [shall be] four cubits, and the breadth, a cubit.
15 Mais Ariel lui-même avait quatre coudées; d’Ariel jusqu’en haut s’élevaient quatre cornes.
And the hearth, [shall, be] four cubits, —and from the hearth and upward, the horns [shall be] four.
16 Et Ariel était de douze coudées en longueur sur douze coudées de largeur; quadrangulaire à côtés égaux.
And the hearth shall be twelve cubits in length, by twelve in breadth—square in the four sides thereof.
17 Et son rebord était de quatorze coudées de longueur, sur quatorze coudées de largeur, à ses quatre coins; et la couronne autour d’elle était d’une demi-coudée, et son enfoncement d’une coudée tout autour; or ses degrés étaient tournés vers l’orient.
And the ledge shall be fourteen in length, by fourteen in breadth, unto the four sides thereof, —and the boundary round about it shall be half a cubit and, the hollow thereto, a cubit round about, with, the steps thereof, looking toward the east.
18 Et il me dit: Fils d’un homme, voici ce que dit le Seigneur Dieu: Voici les rites pour l’autel au jour quelconque où il aura été construit, afin qu’un holocauste y soit offert dessus, que du sang y soit répandu.
Then said he unto me, Son of man, Thus saith My Lord, Yahweh, These, shall be the statutes of the altar, in the day when it is made, —for offering up thereon—an ascending-sacrifice, and for dashing thereon—blood.
19 Et tu les donneras aux prêtres et aux Lévites qui sont de la race de Sadoc, qui s’approchent de moi, dit le Seigneur Dieu, afin qu’ils m’offrent un veau du troupeau pour le péché.
So then thou shalt give unto the priests the Levites those who are of the seed of Zadok who approach unto me Declareth My Lord Yahweh. to wait upon me—a young bullock as a sin-bearer,
20 Et prenant de son sang, tu en mettras sur les quatre cornes de l’autel, et sur les quatre coins de son rebord, et sur la couronne tout autour; et tu le purifieras et le sanctifieras.
Then shalt thou take of the blood thereof and place upon the four horns thereof and on the four corners of the ledge, and on the boundary, round about, —and shalt cleanse it from sin and put a propitiatory-covering over it.
21 Et tu emporteras le veau qui aura été offert pour le péché, et tu le brûleras dans un lieu de la maison séparé, hors du sanctuaire.
Then shalt thou take the bullock bearing sin, - and shalt burn it in the appointed place of the house, outside the sanctuary,
22 Et le second jour, tu offriras un bouc de chèvres sans tache pour le péché; et l’on sanctifiera l’autel, comme on l’a sanctifié avec le veau.
And on the second day, shalt thou bring near a kid of the goats without defect as a sin-bearer, —and they shall cleanse the altar from sin just as they cleansed it from sin with the bullock,
23 Et lorsque tu auras achevé de le sanctifier, tu offriras un veau sans tache, pris d’un troupeau, et un bélier sans tache, pris d’un troupeau.
When thou hast made an end of cleansing from sin, thou shalt bring near a young bullock without defect, and a ram out of the flock without defect;
24 Et tu les offriras en présence du Seigneur, et les prêtres répandront du sel sur eux, et les offriront en holocauste au Seigneur.
and shalt bring them near before Yahweh, —and the priests shall cast over them salt, so shall they cause them to go up as an ascending-sacrifice to Yahweh.
25 Durant sept jours, tu sacrifieras chaque jour un bouc pour le péché; et l’on offrira un veau pris d’un troupeau, tous deux sans tache.
Seven days, shalt thou offer a sin-bearing goat for each day, —and a young bullock and aram out of the flock without defect, shall they offer.
26 Durant sept jours, les prêtres sanctifieront l’autel, et le purifieront, et le consacreront.
Seven days, shall they put a propitiatory covering over the altar, and shall purify it, —and shall consecrate it.
27 Et les sept jours accomplis, les prêtres offriront, le huitième jour et dans la suite, vos holocaustes sur l’autel, et les hosties qu’ils offrent pour la paix, et je m’attendrirai sur vous, dit le Seigneur Dieu.
When the days shall be accomplished, then shall it be on the eighth day and forward, that the priests shall offer upon the altar your ascending-sacrifices and your peace offerings. And I will accept you Declareth, My Lord Yahweh.
