Exode 29
1 Mais voici ce que tu feras encore pour qu’ils me soient consacrés dans le sacerdoce. Prends un veau du troupeau et deux béliers sans tache,
And this is the thing that thou shalt do unto them to hallow them, to become priests unto me: Take one young bullock, and two rams without blemish,
2 Des pains azymes, une galette sans levain, qui soit arrosée d’huile, et aussi des beignets sans levain, oints d’huile: c’est avec de la fleur de farine de froment que tu feras toutes ces choses.
And unleavened bread, and unleavened cakes, mingled with oil, and unleavened wafers, anointed with oil; of fine wheaten flour shalt thou make them.
3 Et après les avoir mises dans une corbeille, tu les offriras, ainsi que le veau et les deux béliers.
And thou shalt put them into one basket, and bring them near in the basket, with the bullock and the two rams.
4 Tu feras ensuite approcher, Aaron et ses fils de la porte du tabernacle de témoignage. Or, lorsque tu auras lavé le père et ses fils avec de l’eau,
And Aaron and his sons shalt thou bring near unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and shalt wash them with water.
5 Tu revêtiras Aaron de ses vêtements c’est-à-dire de la tunique de lin, de la robe, de l’éphod et du rational que tu lieras avec la ceinture.
And thou shalt take the garments, and clothe Aaron with the coat, and the robe of the ephod, and the ephod, and the breastplate, and gird him with the girdle of the ephod:
6 Et tu mettras la tiare sur sa tête, et la lame sainte sur la tiare,
And thou shalt put the mitre upon his head, and thou shalt fasten the holy crown upon the mitre.
7 Et tu répandras sur sa tête l’huile de l’onction; et c’est par ce rite qu’il sera consacré.
Then shalt thou take the anointing oil, and pour it upon his head, and anoint him.
8 Tu feras approcher aussi ses fils, et tu les revêtiras de tuniques de lin, et tu les ceindras de la ceinture,
And his sons shalt thou bring near, and clothe them with coats.
9 C’est-à-dire, Aaron et ses enfants; puis tu leur mettras des mitres; et ils seront mes prêtres par un culte perpétuel. Après que tu auras consacré leurs mains,
And thou shalt gird them with the girdles, Aaron and his sons, and bind the bonnets on them; and the priest's office shall be theirs for a perpetual statute: and thus shalt thou consecrate Aaron and his sons.
10 Tu feras aussi approcher le veau devant le tabernacle de témoignage. Alors Aaron et ses fils poseront les mains sur sa tête,
And thou shalt cause the bullock to be brought before the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands upon the head of the bullock.
11 Et tu le tueras en la présence du Seigneur, près de la porte du tabernacle de témoignage.
And thou shalt kill the bullock before the Lord, by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
12 Puis, après avoir pris du sang du veau, tu le mettras sur les cornes de l’autel avec ton doigt; mais le reste du sang, tu le répandras au pied de l’autel.
And thou shalt take of the blood of the bullock, and put it upon the horns of the altar with thy finger, and all the remaining blood shalt thou pour out beside the bottom of the altar.
13 Tu prendras encore toute la graisse qui couvre les intestins, la membrane réticulaire du foie, les deux reins et la graisse qui est dessus, et tu les offriras en les brûlant sur l’autel:
And thou shalt take all the fat that covereth the inwards, and the midriff above the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and burn them upon the altar.
14 Pour la chair du veau et sa peau et sa fiente, tu les brûleras dehors, au-delà du camp, parce que c’est une hostie pour le péché.
But the flesh of the bullock, and his skin, and his dung, shalt thou burn with fire, without the camp: it is a sin-offering.
15 Tu prendras aussi l’un des béliers, sur la tête duquel Aaron et ses fils poseront les mains.
And the one ram shalt thou take; and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands upon the head of the ram.
16 Lorsque tu l’auras tué, tu prendras de son sang, et tu le répandras autour de l’autel.
And thou shalt slay the ram, and thou shalt take his blood, and sprinkle it upon the altar round about.
17 Mais le bélier lui-même, tu le couperas en morceaux, puis tu mettras ses intestins et ses pieds lavés sur sa chair coupée, et sur sa tête.
And the ram shalt thou cut in pieces, and wash his inwards, and his legs, and put them with his pieces, and with his head.
18 Et tu offriras tout le bélier en le brûlant sur l’autel: c’est une oblation au Seigneur, une odeur très suave de la victime du Seigneur.
And thou shalt burn the whole ram upon the altar, it is a burnt-offering unto the Lord; it is a sweet savor, an offering made by fire unto the Lord.
19 Tu prendras aussi l’autre bélier, sur la tête duquel Aaron et ses fils poseront les mains.
And thou shalt take the other ram; and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands upon the head of the ram.
20 Lorsque tu l’auras égorgé, tu prendras de son sang et tu en mettras sur l’extrémité de l’oreille droite d’Aaron et de ses fils, et sur les pouces de leur main et de leur pied droit, et tu répandras autour.
Then shalt thou kill the ram, and take of his blood, and put it upon the tip of Aaron's right ear, and upon the tip of the right ear of his sons, and upon the thumb of their right hand, and upon the great toe of their right foot, and sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about.
21 Et lorsque tu auras pris du sang qui est sur l’autel et de l’huile de l’onction, tu aspergeras Aaron et ses vêtements, ses fils et leurs vêtements. Eux-mêmes et leurs vêtements ainsi consacrés,
And thou shalt take of the blood that is upon the altar, and of the anointing oil, and sprinkle them upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon the garments of his sons with him: and he shall be hallowed, together with his garments, and his sons, and the garments of his sons with him.
22 Tu prendras du bélier, la graisse, la queue, le gras qui couvre les entrailles, la membrane réticulaire du foie, les deux reins et la graisse qui est dessus et l’épaule droite, parce que c’est un bélier de consécration.
And thou shalt take from the ram the fat and the rump, and the fat that covereth the inwards, and the midriff above the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and the right shoulder; for it is a ram of consecration;
23 De plus, une miche de pain, une galette arrosée d’huile et un beignet de la corbeille des azymes qui a été posée en la présence du Seigneur:
And one loaf of bread, and one cake of the oiled bread, and one wafer, out of the basket of the unleavened bread that is before the Lord.
24 Et tu mettras toutes ces choses sur les mains d’Aaron et de ses fils et tu les sanctifieras en élevant ces dons devant le Seigneur.
And thou shalt put all this upon the hands of Aaron, and upon the hands of his sons; and thou shalt make with them a waving before the Lord.
25 Tu recevras ensuite toutes ces choses de leurs mains, et tu les brûleras sur l’autel en holocauste, odeur très suave en la présence du Seigneur, parce que c’est son oblation.
And thou shalt then take them from their hands, and burn them upon the altar upon the burnt-offering; for a sweet savor before the Lord, it is an offering made by fire unto the Lord.
26 Tu prendras aussi la poitrine du bélier au moyen duquel a été consacré Aaron, et tu la sanctifieras après avoir été élevée devant le Seigneur, et elle deviendra ta part.
And thou shalt take the breast of the ram of the consecration that belongeth to Aaron, and make therewith a waving before the Lord; and it shall belong to thee as thy portion.
27 Et tu sanctifieras aussi la poitrine consacrée, et l’épaule que tu as séparée du bélier
And thou shalt sanctify the breast which hath been waved, and the shoulder which hath been lifted up, which was waved, and which was heaved up, of the ram of the consecration, of that which belongeth to Aaron, and of that which belongeth to his sons:
28 Au moyen duquel ont été consacrés Aaron et ses fils, et elles deviendront la part d’Aaron et de ses fils, par un droit perpétuel, parmi les enfants d’Israël, parce que ce sont de leurs victimes pacifiques les premières parties qu’ils offrirent d’abord au Seigneur.
That they shall belong to Aaron and to his sons, as a statute forever, from the children of Israel; for it is a heave-offering; and a heave-offering it shall remain from the children of Israel, from the sacrifices of their peace-offerings, as their heave-offering unto the Lord.
29 Quant au saint vêtement dont se servira Aaron, ses fils l’auront après lui, afin qu’ils soient oints, en étant revêtus, et que leurs mains soient consacrées.
And the holy garments belonging to Aaron shall be for his sons after him, to anoint them therein, and to consecrate them therein.
30 Pendant sept jours il servira à celui de ses fils qui aura été établi pontife à sa place, et qui entrera dans le tabernacle de témoignage pour exercer son ministère dans le sanctuaire.
Seven days shall that one of his sons put them on who is to be priest in his place, who is to go into the tabernacle of the congregation to minister in the sanctuary.
31 Or, tu prendras le bélier de la consécration, et tu cuiras dans un lieu saint sa chair,
And the ram of the consecration shalt thou take, and seethe his flesh in a holy place.
32 Dont mangeront Aaron et ses fils. Les pains aussi, qui sont dans la corbeille, ils les mangeront dans le vestibule du tabernacle de témoignage.
And Aaron with his sons shall eat the flesh of the ram, and the bread that is in the basket, by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
33 Afin que ce soit an sacrifice propitiatoire, et que soient sanctifiées les mains de ceux qui les offrent. L’étranger n’en mangera point, parce qu’ils sont saints.
And they shall eat those things wherewith the atonement was made, to consecrate them and to sanctify them; but a stranger shall not eat thereof, because they are holy.
34 Que s’il demeure de la chair consacrée ou des pains jusqu’au matin, tu brûleras les restes au feu: on ne mangera point de ces choses, parce qu’elles sont sanctifiées.
And if aught of the flesh of the consecration sacrifice, or of the bread, remain unto the morning, then shalt thou burn the remainder with fire; it shall not be eaten, because it is holy.
35 Tu feras touchant Aaron et ses fils, tout ce que je t’ai ordonné. Pendant sept jours tu consacreras leurs mains,
And thou shalt do unto Aaron, and to his sons thus, all as I have commanded thee; seven days shalt thou consecrate them.
36 Et tu offriras chaque jour un veau en expiation pour le péché. Et tu purifieras l’autel lorsque tu auras immolé l’hostie d’expiation, et tu l’oindras pour le sanctifier.
And a bullock shalt thou offer every day for a sin-offering as an atonement: and thou shalt cleanse the altar, in as much as thou makest an atonement upon it; and thou shalt anoint it, to sanctify it.
37 Pendant sept jours tu purifieras l’autel, et tu le sanctifieras, il sera très saint; quiconque le touchera sera sanctifié.
Seven days shalt thou make an atonement upon the altar and sanctify it; and the altar shall be most holy; whatsoever toucheth the altar shall be holy.
38 Voici ce que tu sacrifieras sur l’autel: Deux agneaux d’un an, chaque jour, sans interruption,
And this is what thou shalt offer upon the altar: Two sheep of the first year for every day, continually.
39 Un agneau le matin, et l’autre le soir;
The one sheep shalt thou offer in the morning; and the other sheep shalt thou offer toward evening.
40 La dixième partie de l’éphi de fleur de farine arrosée d’huile pilée, qui ait pour mesure la quatrième partie du hin, et du vin pour les libations selon la même mesure, sur un agneau.
And a tenth part of fine flour mingled with the fourth part of a hin of beaten oil, and the fourth part of a hin of wine for a drink-offering, shall be for the one sheep.
41 Mais l’autre agneau, tu l’offriras vers le soir, selon le rite de l’oblation du matin, et selon ce que nous avons dit, en odeur de suavité.
And the other sheep shalt thou offer toward evening; according to the meat-offering of the morning, and according to its drink-offering shalt thou do unto it, for a sweet savor, an offering made by fire unto the Lord.
42 C’est un sacrifice qui sera offert au Seigneur, d’une oblation perpétuelle en vos générations, à la porte du tabernacle de témoignage devant le Seigneur, où je me tiendrai pour te parler.
A continual burnt-offering throughout your generations [shall this be] at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the Lord; where I will meet with you, to speak unto thee there.
43 Et c’est là que j’ordonnerai aux enfants d’Israël, et que sera sanctifié l’autel par ma gloire.
And I will meet there with the children of Israel, and it shall be sanctified by my glory.
44 Je sanctifierai aussi le tabernacle de témoignage avec l’autel, et Aaron avec ses fils, afin qu’ils exercent les fonctions du sacerdoce pour moi.
And I will sanctify the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar: and both Aaron and his sons will I sanctify, that they may he priests unto me.
45 Ainsi j’habiterai au milieu des enfants d’Israël, et je serai leur Dieu.
And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and I will be to them for a God.
46 Et ils sauront que c’est moi, le Seigneur leur Dieu qui les ai retirés de la terre d’Egypte, afin que je demeurasse parmi eux, moi, le Seigneur leur Dieu.
And they shall know that I am the Eternal, their God, who brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, that I might dwell among them: I am the Lord their God.
