Éphésiens 1
1 Paul, apôtre de Jésus-Christ par la volonté de Dieu, à tous les saints qui sont à Ephèse, et aux fidèles en Jésus-Christ.
PAULOS, an apostle of Jeshu Meshiha by the will of Aloha, to those who are in Ephesos, saints and believers in Jeshu Meshiha:
2 Grâce à vous et paix par Dieu notre Père et par le Seigneur Jésus-Christ.
peace be with you, and grace from Aloha our Father, and from our Lord Jeshu Meshiha.
3 Béni le Dieu et Père de Notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ, qui nous a bénis de toute bénédiction spirituelle, des dons célestes dans le Christ!
Blessed be He, Aloha, the Father of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha, who hath blessed us with all blessings of the Spirit in heaven, in the Meshiha;
4 Comme il nous a élus en lui avant la fondation du monde, afin que nous fussions saints et sans tache en sa présence dans la charité;
as he before elected us in him, from before the foundations of the world, that we should be saints, and without blemish before him,
5 Qui nous a prédestinés à l’adoption de ses enfants par Jésus-Christ, selon le dessein de sa volonté;
and in love predesignated us unto himself, and constituted us children in Jeshu Meshiha, according to the pleasure of his will;
6 Pour la louange de la gloire de sa grâce dont il nous a gratifiés par son bien-aimé Fils,
that the glory of his grace might be glorified, that (grace) which he hath poured upon us by the hand of his Beloved:
7 En qui nous avons la rédemption par son sang, et la rémission des péchés, selon les richesses de sa grâce,
in whom we have redemption, and by his blood the remission of sins, according to the riches of his grace
8 Qui a surabondé en nous en toute sagesse et toute intelligence;
which he hath made to abound in us in all wisdom and in all understanding of the Spirit;
9 Pour nous faire connaître le mystère de sa volonté, selon sa bienveillance, par laquelle il avait résolu en lui-même,
and hath made known to us the mystery of his will, which before he had determined in himself should be done:
10 Dans la dispensation de la plénitude des temps, de restaurer dans le Christ tout ce qui est dans les cieux, et tout ce qui est sur la terre: en lui-même,
that in the dispensation of the fulness of the times, every thing from the first might be renovated in the Meshiha, in heaven and in earth. And by him
11 En qui nous aussi nous avons été appelés par le sort, ayant été prédestinés selon le décret de celui qui fait toutes choses suivant le conseil de sa volonté;
we have been chosen, even as he predesignated and willed, who worketh all according to the mind of his will;
12 Afin que nous soyons la louange de sa gloire, nous qui les premiers avons espéré en Jésus-Christ,
that we who first hoped in the Meshiha, should be to the honour of his glory.
13 En qui, vous aussi, vous avez espéré, après avoir entendu la parole de vérité (l’Évangile de votre salut), en qui, après avoir embrassé la foi, vous avez été marqués du sceau de l’Esprit de la promesse, qui est saint,
In whom you also heard the word of truth, which is the gospel of your salvation; and in whom you believed and were sealed with the Spirit of Holiness who was promised;
14 Qui est le gage de notre héritage pour le rachat de son acquisition, pour la louange de sa gloire.
who is the earnest of our inheritance, until the redemption of those who are saved, and unto the praise of his majesty.
15 C’est pourquoi, moi aussi, apprenant quelle est votre foi dans le Seigneur Jésus, et votre amour pour tous les saints,
ON account of this, behold, I also, since I heard of your faith in our Lord Jeshu Meshiha, and your love to all the saints,
16 Je ne cesse de rendre grâces pour vous, faisant mémoire de vous dans mes prières;
have not ceased to give thanks on your behalf, and to remember you in my prayers;
17 Afin que le Dieu de Notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ, le Père de la gloire, vous donne l’esprit de sagesse et de révélation, pour le connaître;
that the God of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha, the Father of glory, would give to you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in his knowledge,
18 Qu’il éclaire les yeux de votre cœur, pour que vous sachiez quelle est l’espérance à laquelle il vous a appelés, quelles sont les richesses de gloire de l’héritage destiné aux saints;
and would enlighten the eyes of your hearts to know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance for the saints,
19 Et quelle est la grandeur suréminente de sa vertu en nous, qui croyons, selon l’opération de la puissance de sa vertu,
and what is the inheritance of his power in us who believe, according to the operation of the might of his power,
20 Qui l’a exercée dans le Christ, le ressuscitant d’entre les morts, et le plaçant à sa droite dans les cieux,
which he wrought in the Meshiha, and raised him from among the dead, and set him at his right hand in heaven, above all the principalities,
21 Au-dessus de toute principauté, de toute puissance, de toute vertu, de toute domination, et de tout nom qui est nommé non-seulement dans ce siècle, mais aussi dans le futur. (aiōn g165)
and powers, and mighty ones, and rulers, and above every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in (that) to come; (aiōn g165)
22 Et il a mis toutes choses sous ses pieds, et il l’a établi chef sur toute l’Eglise,
and subjected every thing beneath his feet: and Him who is over all he hath given to be the head of the church,
23 Qui est son corps, et le complément de celui qui se complète entièrement dans tous ses membres.
which is His body, the completeness of Him who all in all completeth.
