Ecclésiaste 5
1 Garde ton pied en entrant dans la maison de Dieu, et approche afin d’écouter. Car l’obéissance vaut beaucoup mieux que les victimes des insensés qui ne savent pas ce qu’ils font de mal.
Guard (foot your *Q(K)*) when you will go to [the] house of God and draw near to listen more than giving the fools a sacrifice for not they [are] knowing to do evil.
2 Ne dis rien témérairement, et que ton cœur ne se hâte pas de proférer une parole devant Dieu. Car Dieu est dans le ciel, et toi sur la terre: à cause de cela, que tes paroles soient en petit nombre.
May not you be hasty on mouth your and heart your may not it hasten to bring forth a matter before God for God [is] in the heavens and you [are] on the earth there-fore let them be words your few.
3 Les rêves suivent les soins multipliés; et c’est dans les discours multipliés que se trouvera la folie.
For it comes the dream with abundance of business and [the] voice a fool with a multitude of words.
4 Si tu as voué quelque chose à Dieu, ne tarde pas à l’effectuer; car la promesse infidèle et insensée lui déplaît; mais tout ce que tu auras voué, effectue-le;
When you will vow a vow to God may not you delay to pay it for there not [is] pleasure in fools [that] which you will vow pay.
5 Parce qu’il vaut beaucoup mieux ne pas vouer, qu’après un vœu ne pas effectuer ses promesses.
[is] good That not you will vow (more than what you will vow *L(abh)*) and not you will pay.
6 Ne permets pas que ta bouche fasse pécher ta chair, et ne dis pas devant l’ange: Il n’y a point de providence; de peur que Dieu, irrité contre tes paroles, ne détruise toutes les œuvres de tes mains.
May not you permit mouth your to cause to sin flesh your and may not you say before the messenger that [was] inadvertence it why? will he be angry God towards voice your and he will destroy [the] work of hands your.
7 Où il y a beaucoup de rêves, il y a beaucoup de vanités et des paroles sans nombre; mais toi, crains Dieu.
For in abundance of dreams and futilities and words many for God fear.
8 Si tu vois les oppressions des indigents et les jugements pleins de violence, et que la justice est renversée dans une province, ne t’en étonne pas; parce que celui qui est élevé en a un autre plus élevé que lui, et qu’au-dessus d’eux il y en a d’autres encore plus élevés,
If oppression of a poor person and robbery of justice and righteousness you will see in the province do not be astonished on the matter for a high [one] over a high [one] [is] watching and high [ones] over them.
9 Et de plus, il y a un roi qui commande à la terre entière qui lui est assujettie.
And [the] profit of a land [is] in everything (it *Q(K)*) a king to a field he has been served.
10 L’avare ne sera point rassasié d’argent, et celui qui aime les richesses n’en recueillera point de fruit, et cela donc est vanité.
[one who] loves Silver not he will be satisfied silver and whoever [is] loving wealth not income also this [is] futility.
11 Où il y a beaucoup de biens, il y a aussi beaucoup de gens qui les mangent. Et de quoi sert-il au possesseur, si ce n’est qu’il voit des richesses de ses yeux?
When increases the good they increase [those who] consume it and what? profit [belongs] to owner its that except ([the] sight of *Q(K)*) eyes his.
12 Il est doux, le sommeil, à celui qui travaille, qu’il ait mangé peu ou beaucoup; mais la satiété du riche ne lui permet pas de dormir.
[is] sweet [the] sleep of The laborer whether a little and or [surely] much he will eat and the plenty of the rich [person] not it [is] permitting him to sleep.
13 Il est aussi une maladie, très malheureuse, que j’ai vue sous le soleil: des richesses conservées pour le malheur de leur maître.
There [is] an evil severe [which] I have seen under the sun wealth [was] being kept by owner its to harm his.
14 Il les voit périr avec une affliction très grande: il a engendré un fils qui sera dans une extrême détresse.
And it was lost the wealth that in a business of evil and he fathered a son and not [was] in hand his anything.
15 Comme il est sorti nu du sein de sa mère, ainsi il s’en retournera, et il n’emportera rien avec lui de son travail.
Just as he came out from [the] womb of mother his naked he will return to go when he came and anything not he will carry in toil his that he may take in hand his.
16 Maladie tout à fait misérable: comme elle est venue, ainsi elle s’en retournera. Que lui sert donc d’avoir travaillé pour le vent?
And also this [is] an evil severe like exactly as [that] which came so he will go and what? [is the] profit [belongs] to him that he will toil for the wind.
17 Tous les jours de sa vie, il a mangé dans les ténèbres, dans des soins multipliés, dans le chagrin et dans la tristesse.
Also all days his in darkness he eats and he is vexed greatly and sickness his and anger.
18 Ainsi donc il m’a paru bon qu’un homme mange et boive, et qu’il goûte la joie du travail dans lequel il s’est fatigué lui-même sous le soleil, durant le nombre des jours de sa vie que lui a donnés Dieu; car c’est là sa part.
Here! [that] which I have seen I [to be] good [that] which [is] beautiful [is] to eat and to drink and to see good in all toil his - that someone will toil under the sun [the] number of [the] days of (life his *Q(k)*) which he has given to him God for that [is] portion his.
19 Et pour tout homme à qui Dieu a donné des richesses et du bien, et à qui il a accordé le pouvoir d’en manger, et de jouir, de prendre sa part et de se réjouir de son travail, cela est un don de Dieu.
Also every person whom he has given to him God wealth and riches and he has given power him to eat from it and to receive portion his and to rejoice in toil his this [is] a gift of God it.
20 Car il ne se souviendra pas beaucoup des jours de sa vie, parce que Dieu occupe son cœur de délices.
For not [surely] much he will remember [the] days of life his for God [is] keeping busy with [the] joy of heart his.
