Actes 3
1 Or Pierre et Jean montaient au temple pour la prière de la neuvième heure.
(upon it *k*) Peter now and John were going up into the temple at the hour of prayer the ninth.
2 Et voilà qu’on portait un homme qui était boiteux dès le sein de sa mère, et chaque jour on le posait à la porte du temple, appelée la Belle, afin qu’il demandât l’aumône à ceux qui entraient dans le temple.
And a certain man lame from womb of mother of him being was being carried, whom they were placing every day at the gate of the temple which is being named Beautiful to ask for alms from those who were going into the temple.
3 Celui-ci ayant vu Pierre et Jean, qui allaient entrer dans le temple, les priait pour avoir l’aumône.
who having seen Peter and John being about to enter into the temple was asking alms to receive.
4 Fixant avec Jean les yeux sur lui, Pierre dit: Regarde-nous.
Having looked intently now Peter upon him with John he said; do look unto us.
5 Et il les regardait, espérant recevoir quelque chose d’eux.
And he was giving heed to them expecting something from them to receive.
6 Mais Pierre dit: De l’argent et de l’or, je n’en ai pas; mais ce que j’ai, je te le donne: Au nom de Jésus-Christ de Nazareth, lève-toi et marche.
Said however Peter; Silver and gold none there is to me; what however I have, this to you I give. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth (do rise up *N(k)O*) and do walk.
7 Et lui ayant pris la main droite, il se leva; et aussitôt ses jambes et les plantes de ses pieds s’affermirent.
And having taken him by the right hand he raised up him. immediately then were strengthened the feet of him and the ankles,
8 Et, s’élançant, il se dressa debout et il marchait; et il entra avec eux dans le temple, marchant, sautant et louant Dieu.
And leaping up he stood and was walking and he entered with them into the temple walking and leaping and praising God.
9 Et tout le peuple le vit marchant et louant Dieu.
And saw all the people him walking and praising God.
10 Ainsi, reconnaissant que c’était celui-là même qui était assis à la Belle porte du temple pour demander l’aumône, ils furent étonnés et hors d’eux-mêmes de ce qui lui était arrivé.
They were recognizing (then *N(k)O*) him that (he himself *N(k)O*) was the [one] for the alms sitting at the Beautiful Gate of the temple, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that having happened to him.
11 Et comme il tenait Pierre et Jean, tout le peuple étonné accourut vers eux au portique appelé de Salomon.
When is clinging now (he *N(k)O*) (having been healed lame [one] *K*) to Peter and (*no*) John ran together all the people to them in the porch which is being called Solomon’s greatly amazed.
12 Ce que voyant, Pierre dit au peuple: Hommes d’Israël, pourquoi vous étonnez-vous de ceci, ou pourquoi nous regardez-vous, comme si c’était par notre vertu ou par notre puissance que nous avons fait marcher cet homme?
Having seen [it] however (*no*) Peter answered to the people: Men Israelites, why wonder you at this? Or on us why you look intently as if by [our] own power or godliness having made to walk him?
13 Le Dieu d’Abraham, le Dieu d’Isaac et le Dieu de Jacob, le Dieu de nos pères a glorifié son fils Jésus, que vous avez, vous, livré et renié devant Pilate, quand il jugeait lui-même de le renvoyer.
The God of Abraham and (the God *n*) of Isaac and (the God *n*) of Jacob, the God of the fathers of us, has glorified the servant of Him Jesus whom you yourselves (indeed *no*) delivered up and disowned (him *ko*) in [the] presence of Pilate having adjudged that one to release;
14 Car c’est vous qui avez renié le Saint et le Juste, et qui avez demandé qu’on vous remît un meurtrier;
You yourselves however the Holy and Righteous One denied and requested a man a murderer to be granted to you,
15 Vous avez même tué l’auteur de la vie, que Dieu a ressuscité d’entre les morts, ce dont nous sommes témoins.
and the Author of life you killed whom God has raised up out from [the] dead, whereof we ourselves witnesses are.
16 Or c’est par la foi en son nom, que son nom a affermi cet homme que vous voyez et connaissez, et c’est la foi qui vient par lui qui a opéré, en votre présence, cette entière guérison.
And on the faith in the name of Him this [man] whom you see and know has strengthened the name of Him and the faith which [is] through Him has given to him complete soundness this before all of you.
17 Cependant, mes frères, je sais que c’est par ignorance que vous avez agi, aussi bien que vos chefs.
And now, brothers, I know that in ignorance you acted, as also the rulers of you;
18 Mais Dieu, qui avait prédit par la bouche de tous les prophètes que son Christ souffrirait, l’a ainsi accompli.
But God who foretold through [the] mouth of all the prophets [the] suffering [of] the Christ of Him He has fulfilled thus.
19 Faites donc pénitence et convertissez-vous, afin que vos péchés soient effacés;
do repent therefore and do turn again (for *NK(o)*) the blotting out of your sins, so that maybe may come times of refreshing from [the] presence of the Lord
20 Quand seront venus les temps de rafraîchissement devant la face du Seigneur, et qu’il aura envoyé celui qui vous a été prédit, Jésus-Christ,
and [that] He may send the [One] (appointed *N(K)O*) to you Christ Jesus
21 Que le ciel doit recevoir jusqu’au temps du rétablissement de toutes choses, dont Dieu a parlé par la bouche de ses saints prophètes, depuis le commencement du monde. (aiōn g165)
whom it behooves heaven indeed to receive until [the] times of restoration of all things of which spoke God through [the] mouth (of all *K*) the holy from [the] age of Him prophets. (aiōn g165)
22 Car Moïse a dit: Le Seigneur votre Dieu vous suscitera d’entre vos frères un prophète comme moi; vous l’écouterez en tout ce qu’il vous dira.
Moses indeed (for to the fathers *K*) said that A prophet to you will raise up [the] Lord the God (of you *NK(o)*) out from the brothers of you like me myself; to Him You will listen in all things as much as maybe He may say to you.
23 Or il arrivera que quiconque n’écoutera pas ce prophète sera exterminé du milieu du peuple.
It will be [that] now every soul who (only *N(k)O*) unless shall heed the prophet that will be utterly destroyed out from the people.’
24 Et tous les prophètes depuis Samuel, et tous ceux qui depuis ont parlé, ont annoncé ces jours.
And all now the prophets from Samuel and those subsequently as many as spoke also (told of *N(K)O*) days these,
25 Vous êtes les fils des prophètes et de l’alliance que Dieu a établie avec nos pères, disant à Abraham: Et en ta postérité seront bénies toutes les familles de la terre.
You yourselves are (the *no*) sons of the prophets and of the covenant that made God with the fathers (of you *N(K)O*) saying to Abraham; And in the seed of you (will be blessed *NK(o)*) all the families of the earth.’
26 C’est pour vous premièrement que Dieu, suscitant son Fils, l’a envoyé pour vous bénir, afin que chacun revienne de son iniquité.
To you first having raised up God the servant of Him (Jesus *k*) sent Him blessing you in turning away each from the wickednesses of you.
