2 Rois 1
1 Or, après la mort d’Achab, Moab se révolta contre Israël.
And it rebelled Moab against Israel after [the] death of Ahab.
2 Et Ochozias tomba par la fenêtre de sa chambre haute qu’il avait à Samarie, et il fut malade, et il envoya des messagers, leur disant: Allez, consultez Béelzébub, le dieu d’Accaron, pour savoir si je pourrai réchapper de cette maladie.
And he fell Ahaziah through the window-lattice in upper room his which [was] in Samaria and he became ill and he sent messengers and he said to them go consult Baal Zebub [the] god of Ekron if I will live from sickness this.
3 Mais un ange du Seigneur parla à Élie, le Thesbite, disant: Lève-toi, et monte à la rencontre des messagers du roi de Samarie, et tu leurs diras: Est-ce qu’il n’y a pas un Dieu dans Israël, pour que vous alliez consulter Béelzébub, le dieu d’Accaron?
And [the] angel of Yahweh he spoke to Elijah the Tishbite arise go up to meet [the] messengers of [the] king of Samaria and speak to them ¿ becasue not there not [is] a God in Israel [are] you going to consult Baal Zebub [the] god of Ekron.
4 C’est pourquoi voici ce que dit le Seigneur: Tu ne descendras point du lit sur lequel tu es monté; mais tu mourras de mort. Et Élie s’en alla.
And therefore thus he says Yahweh the bed where you have gone up there not you will come down from it for certainly you will die and he went Elijah.
5 Et les messagers revinrent vers Ochozias. Il leur dit: Pourquoi êtes-vous revenus?
And they returned the messengers to him and he said to them why? this have you returned.
6 Mais eux lui répondirent: Un homme est venu à notre rencontre, et nous a dit: Allez, et retournez vers le roi qui vous a envoyés, et vous lui direz: Voici ce que dit le Seigneur: Est-ce parce qu’il n’y a pas un Dieu dans Israël, que tu envoies pour que soit consulté Béelzébub, le dieu d’Accaron? C’est pourquoi tu ne descendras point du lit sur lequel tu es monté; mais tu mourras de mort.
And they said to him a man - he came up to meet us and he said to us go return to the king who he sent you and you will speak to him thus he says Yahweh ¿ because not there not [is] a God in Israel [are] you sending to consult Baal Zebub [the] god Ekron therefore the bed where you have gone up there not you will come down from it for certainly you will die.
7 Le roi leur demanda: Quelle figure et quel vêtement a cet homme qui est venu à votre rencontre, et qui vous a dit ces paroles?
And he spoke to them what? [was] [the] appearance of the man who he came up to meet you and he spoke to you the words these.
8 Et ceux-ci lui répondirent: C’est un homme couvert de poil, et ceint sur les reins d’une ceinture de peau. Le roi dit: C’est Élie, le Thesbite.
And they said to him a man an owner of hair and a loincloth of hide [was] girded on loins his and he said [was] Elijah the Tishbite that.
9 Et il envoya vers lui un chef de cinquante soldats, et les cinquante soldats qui étaient sous lui. Ce chef monta vers Élie, et il lui dit pendant qu’il était sur le sommet de la montagne: Homme de Dieu, le roi commande que vous descendiez.
And he sent to him a commander of a fifty and fifty [men] his and he went up to him and there! [he was] sitting on [the] top of the hill and he spoke to him O man of God the king he has spoken come down!
10 Et répondant, Élie dit au chef des cinquante soldats: Si je suis homme de Dieu, qu’il descende un feu du ciel, et qu’il te dévore, toi et tes cinquante. C’est pourquoi il descendit un feu du ciel, et il le dévora, lui et les cinquante qui étaient avec lui.
And he answered Elijah and he spoke to [the] commander of the fifty and if [am] a man of God I let it come down fire from the heavens and let it consume you and fifty [men] your and it came down fire from the heavens and it consumed him and fifty [men] his.
11 Et de nouveau le roi lui envoya un autre chef de cinquante soldats, et cinquante soldats avec lui. Celui-ci dit à Élie: Homme de Dieu, voici ce que dit le roi: Hâte-toi, descends.
And he returned and he sent to him a commander of a fifty another and fifty [men] his and he answered and he spoke to him O man of God thus he says the king quickly come down!
12 Et répondant, Élie dit: Si moi je suis homme de Dieu, qu’il descende un feu du ciel, et qu’il te dévore, toi et tes cinquante. Il descendit donc un feu du ciel, et il le dévora, lui et ses cinquante.
And he answered Elijah and he spoke to them if [am] [the] man of God I let it come down fire from the heavens and let it consume you and fifty [men] your and it came down [the] fire of God from the heavens and it consumed him and fifty [men] his.
13 Il envoya encore un troisième chef de cinquante soldats, et les cinquante soldats qui étaient avec lui. Celui-ci, étant venu devant Élie, fléchit les genoux, l’implora, et dit: Homme de Dieu, ne dédaignez point mon âme et les âmes de vos serviteurs qui sont avec moi.
And he returned and he sent a commander of a fifty third and fifty [men] his and he went up and he went [the] commander of the fifty third and he bowed down on knees his - to before Elijah and he sought favor to him and he spoke to him O man of God let it be precious please life my and [the] life of servants your these fifty [men] in view your.
14 Voilà qu’il est descendu un feu du ciel, et il a dévoré les deux premiers chefs de cinquante soldats et les cinquante soldats qui étaient avec chacun d’eux; mais maintenant je vous conjure d’avoir pitié de mon âme.
Here! it has come down fire from the heavens and it has consumed [the] two [the] commanders of the fifties former and fifty [men] their and now let it be precious life my in view your.
15 Or l’ange du Seigneur parla à Élie, disant: Descends avec lui, ne crains point. Il se leva donc, et descendit avec lui vers le roi,
And he spoke [the] angel of Yahweh to Elijah go down him may not you be afraid of him and he arose and he went down him to the king.
16 Et il lui dit: Voici ce que dit le Seigneur: Parce que tu as envoyé des messagers pour consulter Béelzébub, le dieu d’Accaron, comme s’il n’y avait pas un Dieu dans Israël que tu pusses consulter, tu ne te lèveras point du lit sur lequel tu es monté, mais tu mourras de mort.
And he spoke to him thus he says Yahweh because that you have sent messengers to consult Baal Zebub [the] god of Ekron ¿ because not [is] there not a God in Israel to consult word his therefore the bed where you have gone up there not you will come down from it for certainly you will die.
17 Il mourut donc, selon la parole du Seigneur qu’avait dite Élie. Et Joram, son frère, régna en sa place, la seconde année de Joram, fils de Josaphat, roi de Juda: car Ochozias n’avait point de fils.
And he died according to [the] word of Yahweh - which he spoke Elijah and he became king Jehoram in place of him. In year two of Jehoram [the] son of Jehoshaphat [the] king of Judah for not he belonged to him a son.
18 Mais le reste des actions qu’Ochozias a faites, n’est-il pas écrit dans le Livre des actions des jours des rois d’Israël?
And [the] rest of [the] matters of Ahaziah which he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.
