1 Samuel 29

1 Toutes les troupes des Philistins s’assemblèrent donc à Aphec; mais Israël aussi campa près de la fontaine de Jezraël.

And they gathered [the] Philistines all armies their Aphek towards and Israel [were] encamped at the spring which [is] in Jezreel.

2 Or, les satrapes des Philistins marchaient avec des compagnies de cent et de mille hommes; mais David et ses hommes étaient à l’arrière-garde avec Achis.

And [the] rulers of [the] Philistines [were] passing along to hundreds and to thousands and David and men his [were] passing along at the last with Achish.

3 Les princes des Philistins dirent à Achis: Que veulent dire ces Hébreux? Et Achis répondit aux princes des Philistins: Est-ce que vous ne connaissez pas David, qui a été serviteur de Saül, roi d’Israël, qui est avec moi depuis nombre de jours et même d’années, et dans lequel je n’ai rien trouvé, depuis le jour qu’il s’est réfugié auprès de moi jusqu’à ce jour-ci?

And they said [the] commanders of [the] Philistines what? [are] the Hebrews these and he said Achish to [the] commanders of [the] Philistines ¿ not [is] this David [the] servant of - Saul [the] king of Israel who he has been with me this days or this years and not I have found in him anything from [the] day fell he until the day this.

4 Mais les princes des Philistins s’irritèrent contre lui, et lui dirent: Que cet homme s’en retourne; qu’il demeure dans son lieu, dans lequel vous l’avez établi, et qu’il ne descende pas avec nous au combat, afin qu’il ne devienne point notre ennemi, lorsque nous aurons commencé à combattre; car comment pourra-t-il apaiser son seigneur autrement qu’avec nos têtes?

And they were angry towards him [the] commanders of [the] Philistines and they said to him [the] commanders of [the] Philistines send back the man so may he return to place his where you assigned him there and not he will go down with us in the battle and not he will become of us an adversary in the battle and how? will he make himself acceptable this one to master his ¿ not by [the] heads of the men those.

5 N’est-ce pas ce David, en l’honneur duquel on chantait dans les chœurs: Saül a frappé sur ses mille, et David sur ses dix mille?

¿ Not [is] this David whom people sing of him in dances saying he has struck down Saul thousands his and David (ten thousands his. *Q(K)*)

6 Achis donc appela David, et lui dit: Le Seigneur vit! tu es droit et bon en ma présence, et ta sortie et ton entrée est avec moi dans le camp; et je n’ai trouvé en toi rien de mal, depuis le jour que tu es venu vers moi jusqu’à ce jour-ci; mais tu ne plais pas aux satrapes.

And he summoned Achish David and he said to him [by] [the] life of Yahweh for [are] upright you and [is] good in view my going out you and coming in you with me in the camp for not I have found in you evil from [the] day coming in you to me until the day this and in [the] eyes of the rulers not [are] good you.

7 Retourne-t’en donc, et va en paix, et n’offense pas les yeux des satrapes des Philistins.

And therefore turn back and go in peace and not you will do evil in [the] eyes of [the] rulers of [the] Philistines.

8 Et David demanda à Achis: Qu’ai-je donc fait, et qu’avez-vous trouvé en moi, votre serviteur, depuis le jour que j’ai été en votre présence jusqu’à ce jour-ci, pour que je ne vienne point, et que je ne combatte point contre les ennemis de mon seigneur roi?

And he said David to Achish for what? have I done and what? have you found in servant your from [the] day when I was before you until the day this that not I will go and I will fight against [the] enemies of lord my the king.

9 Mais répondant, Achis dit à David: Je sais que tu es bon à mes yeux comme un ange de Dieu; mais les princes des Philistins ont dit: Il ne montera point avec nous au combat.

And he answered Achish and he said to David I know that [are] good you in view my like an angel of God nevertheless [the] commanders of [the] Philistines they have said not he will go up with us in battle.

10 Ainsi lève-toi, dès le matin, toi et les serviteurs de ton seigneur qui sont venus avec toi; et lorsque vous vous serez levés pendant la nuit, et qu’il aura commencé à faire jour, partez.

And therefore rise early in the morning and [the] servants of master your who they have come with you and you will rise early in the morning and it will be light for you and go.

11 C’est pourquoi David se leva pendant la nuit, lui et ses hommes, pour partir dès le matin, et retourner dans la terre des Philistins; mais les Philistins montèrent à Jezraël.

And he rose early David he and men his to go in the morning to return to [the] land of [the] Philistines and [the] Philistines they went up Jezreel.
