1 Corinthiens 1

1 Paul appelé à l’apostolat de Jésus-Christ par la volonté de Dieu, et Sosthène, son frère,

PAULOS the called, and the apostle of Jeshu Meshiha by the will of Aloha, and Sosthenis a brother,

2 À l’Eglise de Dieu, qui est à Corinthe, aux sanctifiés en Jésus-Christ, appelés saints, avec tous ceux qui invoquent le nom du Seigneur Jésus-Christ, en quelque lieu qu’ils soient ou que nous soyons nous-mêmes,

to the church of Aloha which is in Kurinthos, the called, and the saints who in Jeshu Meshiha are sanctified; and to all them who invoke the name of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha in every place, theirs and ours:

3 Grâce à vous, et paix par Dieu notre Père, et par le Seigneur Jésus-Christ.

Grace be with you and peace from Aloha our Father, and from our Lord Jeshu Meshiha.

4 Je rends grâces à mon Dieu pour vous sans cesse, à cause de la grâce de Dieu, qui vous a été donnée dans le Christ Jésus.

I give thanks to Aloha at all times on your behalf for the grace of Aloha which is given to you through Jeshu Meshiha,

5 De ce que vous avez été faits en lui riches en toutes choses, en toute parole et en toute science

because in every thing you are enriched in him in all utterance and in all knowledge,

6 (Ainsi le témoignage du Christ a été confirmé parmi vous);

according to the testimony of the Meshiha, which is confirmed in you.

7 De sorte que rien ne vous manque en aucune grâce, à vous qui attendez la manifestation de Notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ,

That you may not be deficient in one of his gifts, but be expecting the revelation of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha,

8 Qui vous affermira même jusqu’à la fin, pour que vous soyez sans reproche au jour de l’avènement de Notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ.

who will confirm you to the end, that you may be without fault in the day of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha.

9 Il est fidèle, le Dieu par qui vous avez été appelés à la société de son fils Jésus-Christ Notre Seigneur.

Faithful is Aloha, by whom you have been called to the fellowship of his Son Jeshu Meshiha our Lord.

10 Je vous conjure donc, mes frères, par le nom de Notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ, de n’avoir tous qu’un même langage, et de ne pas souffrir de schismes parmi vous; mais d’être tous affermis dans le même esprit et dans les mêmes sentiments.

But I beseech of you, my brethren, in the name of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha, that you have all one doctrine, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfect in one mind and one sentiment.

11 Car J’ai été averti, mes frères, par ceux de la maison de Chloé, qu’il y a des contestations parmi vous.

For they of the house of Kloë have sent to me concerning you, my brethren, that there are contentions among you.

12 Or, je parle ainsi, parce que chacun de vous dit: Moi, je suis à Paul, et moi à Apollo, et moi à Céphas, et moi au Christ.

For this I say, that there are some of you who say, I am of Paulos; and some who say, I am of Apollo; and some who say, I am of Kipha; and some who say, I am of the Meshiha!

13 Le Christ est-il divisé? Est-ce Paul qui a été crucifié pour vous? ou est-ce au nom de Paul que vous avez été baptisés?

Is the Meshiha divided? Or was Paulos crucified for you? Or in the name of Paulos were you baptized?

14 Je rends grâces à Dieu de ce que je n’ai baptisé aucun de vous, si ce n’est Crispus et Caïus;

I thank Aloha that no man of you I have baptized, but only Krispos and Gaios;

15 Afin que nul ne dise qu’il a été baptisé en mon nom.

lest any man should say, that in my name I have baptized.

16 J’ai baptisé aussi la famille de Stéphanas: au reste, je ne sais si j’ai baptisé quelque autre personne;

But I baptized also the house of Estepana; beyond (these) I know not that any other man I have baptized.

17 Parce que le Christ ne m’a point envoyé pour baptiser, mais pour prêcher l’Evangile, non pas toutefois selon la sagesse de la parole, afin de ne pas rendre vaine la croix du Christ.

For the Meshiha sent me not to baptize, but to preach; not with the wisdom of words, lest the cross of the Meshiha should be nullified.

18 Car la parole de la croix est folie pour ceux qui se perdent, mais pour ceux qui se sauvent, c’est-à-dire pour nous, elle est vertu de Dieu.

FOR the doctrine of the cross to those who perish is foolishness, but to us who are saved it is the power of Aloha.

19 Car il est écrit: Je perdrai la sagesse des sages, et, la prudence des prudents, je la réprouverai.

For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And I will take away the understanding of the prudent.

20 Où est le sage? Où est le Scribe? Où est l’investigateur de ce siècle? Dieu n’a-t-il pas convaincu de folie la sagesse de ce monde? (aiōn g165)

Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Or where is the disputer of this world? Hath not. Aloha made foolish the wisdom of this world? (aiōn g165)

21 En effet, puisque, dans la sagesse de Dieu, le monde, par sa sagesse, n’a pas connu Dieu, il a plu à Dieu de sauver les croyants par la folie de la prédication.

For inasmuch as in the wisdom of Aloha, the world by wisdom hath not known Aloha, it hath pleased Aloha, by the foolishness of preaching, to save them who believe.

22 Car les Juifs demandent des miracles, et les Grecs cherchent la sagesse;

For the Jihudoyee demand signs, and the Aramoyee require wisdom;

23 Et nous, nous prêchons le Christ crucifié, pour les Juifs, il est vrai scandale, et pour les gentils, folie;

but we preach the Meshiha crucified, a scandal to the Jihudoyee, and to the Aramoyee foolishness;

24 Mais, pour ceux qui sont appelés, soit Juifs, soit Grecs, vertu de Dieu et sagesse de Dieu;

but to them who are called, Jihudoyee and Aramoyee, the Meshiha is the power of Aloha, and the wisdom of Aloha.

25 Car ce qui est folie en Dieu est plus sage que les hommes, et ce qui est faiblesse en Dieu est plus fort que les hommes.

For the foolishness of Aloha is wiser than men, and the weakness of Aloha is stronger than men.

26 En effet, voyez, mes frères, votre vocation, ce n’est pas un grand nombre de sages selon la chair, ni un grand nombre de puissants et de grands,

For you see also your calling, my brethren, that not many among you are wise after the flesh, and not many among you are powerful, and not many among you are of noble birth;

27 Que Dieu a choisis, mais ce qui est insensé selon le monde, pour confondre les sages; il a choisi aussi ce qui est faible selon le monde, pour confondre ce qui est fort;

but Aloha hath chosen the simple of the world, to shame the wise, and he hath chosen the weak of the world, to shame the mighty,

28 Enfin, Dieu a choisi ce qui est vil et méprisable selon le monde, et les choses qui ne sont pas, pour détruire les choses qui sont;

and he hath chosen those of low birth in the world, and the outcasts, and those who are nothing, to bring to nothing those who are;

29 Afin que nulle chair ne se glorifie en sa présence.

that no flesh may boast before him.

30 Et c’est par lui que vous êtes dans le Christ Jésus, que Dieu a fait notre sagesse, notre justice, notre sanctification et notre rédemption;

But you are of him in Jeshu Meshiha, who hath been made unto us wisdom, of Aloha, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption;

31 Afin, comme il est écrit, que celui qui se glorifie, se glorifie dans le Seigneur.

according as it is written, He who boasteth, in the Lord let him boast.
