1 Corinthiens 2

1 Pour moi, mes frères, lorsque je suis venu vers vous, je ne suis point venu vous annoncer le témoignage du Christ dans la sublimité du discours et de la sagesse.

And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellence of speech, or of wisdom, declaring to you the testimony of God.

2 Car je n’ai pas jugé que je susse parmi vous autre chose que Jésus-Christ, et Jésus-Christ crucifié.

For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

3 Aussi, est-ce dans un état de faiblesse, de crainte, et d’un grand tremblement, que j’ai été parmi vous;

And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.

4 Et mon discours et ma prédication ont été, non dans les paroles persuasives de la sagesse humaine, mais dans la manifestation de l’esprit et de la vertu;

And my speech and my preaching [was] not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit, and of power:

5 Afin que votre foi ne soit pas établie sur la sagesse des hommes, mais sur la vertu de Dieu.

That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

6 Cependant nous prêchons la sagesse parmi les parfaits, non la sagesse de ce siècle, ni des princes de ce siècle, qui périssent; (aiōn g165)

However, we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to naught: (aiōn g165)

7 Mais nous prêchons la sagesse de Dieu dans le mystère, sagesse qui a été cachée, que Dieu a prédestinée pendant les siècles pour notre gloire; (aiōn g165)

But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, [even] the hidden [wisdom] which God ordained before the world to our glory: (aiōn g165)

8 Qu’aucun prince de ce siècle n’a connue; car s’ils l’avaient connue, jamais ils n’auraient crucifié le Seigneur de la gloire. (aiōn g165)

Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known [it], they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. (aiōn g165)

9 Mais, comme il est écrit: Ce que l’œil n’a point vu, ce que l’oreille n’a point entendu, ce qui n’est point monté dans le cœur de l’homme, ce que Dieu a préparé à ceux qui l’aiment;

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

10 C’est aussi ce que Dieu nous a révélé par son Esprit; car l’Esprit pénètre toutes choses, même les profondeurs de Dieu.

But God hath revealed [them] to us by his Spirit; for the Spirit searcheth all things, even the deep things of God.

11 Qui des hommes sait ce qui est dans l’homme, sinon l’esprit de l’homme qui est en lui? Ainsi, ce qui est en Dieu, personne ne le connaît, que l’Esprit de Dieu.

For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

12 Pour nous, nous n’avons point reçu l’esprit de ce monde, mais l’Esprit qui est de Dieu, afin que nous connaissions les dons qui nous ont été faits par Dieu,

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is from God; that we may know the things that are freely given to us by God.

13 Et que nous annonçons, non avec les doctes paroles de la sagesse humaine, mais selon la doctrine de l’Esprit, traitant spirituellement les choses spirituelles.

Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Spirit teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

14 L’homme animal ne perçoit pas ce qui est de l’Esprit de Dieu; c’est folie pour lui, et il ne le peut comprendre, parce que c’est par l’esprit qu’on doit en juger.

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness to him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned.

15 Mais l’homme spirituel juge de toutes choses, et il n’est jugé de personne.

But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged by no man.

16 Car qui a connu la pensée du Seigneur pour pouvoir l’instruire? mais nous, nous avons la pensée du Christ.

For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
