Psaumes 98

1 Cantique. Chantez à l'Éternel un cantique nouveau! car Il a fait des choses merveilleuses, aidé de sa droite et du bras de sa sainteté.

A Psalm. O sing unto the LORD a new song; for He hath done marvellous things; His right hand, and His holy arm, hath wrought salvation for Him.

2 L'Éternel a montré son secours; et aux yeux des peuples Il a révélé sa justice.

The LORD hath made known His salvation; His righteousness hath He revealed in the sight of the nations.

3 Il s'est souvenu de sa grâce et de sa fidélité envers la maison d'Israël; toutes les extrémités de la terre ont vu le secours de notre Dieu.

He hath remembered His mercy and His faithfulness toward the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

4 Terres, élevez toutes à l'Éternel vos acclamations! faites retentir vos cris de joie et vos accords!

Shout unto the LORD, all the earth; break forth and sing for joy, yea, sing praises.

5 Célébrez l'Éternel avec la harpe, avec la harpe et la voix des chants!

Sing praises unto the LORD with the harp; with the harp and the voice of melody.

6 Au bruit des clairons et des trompettes, poussez des cris de joie devant le Roi, l'Éternel!

With trumpets and sound of the horn shout ye before the King, the LORD.

7 Que la mer s'émeuve avec ce qu'elle enserre, le monde et ceux qui l'habitent;

Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein;

8 que les fleuves battent des mains, qu'en même temps les montagnes jubilent

Let the floods clap their hands; let the mountains sing for joy together;

9 devant l'Éternel! Car Il vient pour juger la terre. Il jugera le monde avec justice, et les peuples avec équité.

Before the LORD, for He is come to judge the earth; He will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with equity.
