Psaumes 146

1 Alléluia! Mon âme, loue l'Éternel!

Praise Yah. Praise Yhwh, O my soul.

2 Je louerai l'Éternel, tant que je vivrai; je chanterai mon Dieu, tant que je serai.

While I live will I praise Yhwh: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.

3 Ne vous confiez pas dans les princes, dans les enfants des hommes, qui ne peuvent secourir!

Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.

4 Leur souffle s'exhale, ils rentrent dans leur poudre: ce jour-là, c'en est fait de leurs plans.

His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.

5 Heureux celui à qui le Dieu de Jacob est en aide, et dont l'espoir repose sur l'Éternel son Dieu!

Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in Yhwh his God:

6 Il a fait les Cieux et la terre, la mer et tout ce qu'elle contient; Il garde fidélité éternellement;

Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:

7 Il rend justice aux opprimés, donne du pain à ceux qui ont faim; l'Éternel délivre les captifs.

Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. Yhwh looseth the prisoners:

8 L'Éternel ouvre les yeux aux aveugles, l'Éternel relève ceux qui sont affaissés; l'Éternel aime les justes.

Yhwh openeth the eyes of the blind: Yhwh raiseth them that are bowed down: Yhwh loveth the righteous:

9 L'Éternel prend les étrangers sous sa garde; Il restaure la veuve et l'orphelin; mais Il fait dévier la voie de l'impie.

Yhwh preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.

10 L'Éternel règne éternellement. Ton Dieu, ô Sion, subsiste dans tous les âges. Alléluia!

Yhwh shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Hallelu jah.
