1 Cantique graduel. De David. Voyez! qu'il est beau, qu'il est doux que des frères vivent ainsi dans l'union!

A Song of Ascents; of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

2 Telle l'huile exquise, qui de la tête descend sur la barbe, sur la barbe d'Aaron, qui descend jusqu'au bord de son vêtement;

It is like the precious oil upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard; that came down upon the skirt of his garments;

3 telle la rosée de l'Hermon, et celle qui descend sur les montagnes de Sion! Car c'est là que l'Éternel envoie bénédiction et vie pour l'éternité.

Like the dew of Hermon, that cometh down upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.
