1 Et l'Éternel parla à Moïse en ces termes:

And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying:

2 Parle aux enfants d'Israël et leur dis: Quand vous serez arrivés dans le pays où vous serez fixés et que je vous donnerai,

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them: When ye are come into the land of your habitations, which I give unto you,

3 et quand vous offrirez à l'Éternel en sacrifice igné un holocauste ou une victime pour l'acquit d'un vœu ou d'un don spontané ou dans vos solennités, pour faire fumer du gros et du menu bétail en parfum agréable à l'Éternel,

and will make an offering by fire unto the LORD, a burnt-offering, or a sacrifice, in fulfilment of a vow clearly uttered, or as a freewill-offering, or in your appointed seasons, to make a sweet savour unto the LORD, of the herd, or of the flock;

4 celui qui présentera son oblation à l'Éternel, présentera comme offrande un dixième de fleur de farine trempée d'un quart de hin d'huile;

then shall he that bringeth his offering present unto the LORD a meal-offering of a tenth part of an ephah of fine flour mingled with the fourth part of a hin of oil;

5 quant au vin pour la libation, vous en ajouterez à l'holocauste ou à la victime un quart de hin pour chaque agneau.

and wine for the drink-offering, the fourth part of a hin, shalt thou prepare with the burnt-offering or for the sacrifice, for each lamb.

6 Ou bien au bélier tu ajouteras comme offrande deux dixièmes de fleur de farine trempée d'un tiers de hin d'huile;

Or for a ram, thou shalt prepare for a meal-offering two tenth parts of an ephah of fine flour mingled with the third part of a hin of oil;

7 et pour la libation tu offriras un tiers de hin de fin en parfum agréable à l'Éternel.

and for the drink-offering thou shalt present the third part of a hin of wine, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.

8 Et quand tu sacrifieras un jeune taureau comme holocauste ou comme victime, pour l'acquit d'un vœu ou en sacrifice pacifique à l'Éternel,

And when thou preparest a bullock for a burnt-offering, or for a sacrifice, in fulfilment of a vow clearly uttered, or for peace-offerings unto the LORD;

9 on présentera en sus du jeune taureau comme offrande trois dixièmes de fleur de farine trempée d'un demi-hin d'huile,

then shall there be presented with the bullock a meal-offering of three tenth parts of an ephah of fine flour mingled with half a hin of oil.

10 et pour la libation tu présenteras un demi-hin de vin en sacrifice igné d'un parfum agréable à l'Éternel.

And thou shalt present for the drink-offering half a hin of wine, for an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.

11 C'est ce qui se pratiquera pour chaque bœuf, ou chaque bélier, ou agneau, ou chevreau;

Thus shall it be done for each bullock, or for each ram, or for each of the he-lambs, or of the kids.

12 ainsi vous procéderez, en raison du nombre des victimes sacrifiées par vous, pour chacune, en raison de leur nombre.

According to the number that ye may prepare, so shall ye do for every one according to their number.

13 Tout indigène le fera de cette manière pour offrir un sacrifice igné d'un parfum agréable à l'Éternel.

All that are home-born shall do these things after this manner, in presenting an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.

14 De même l'étranger séjournant chez vous, ou se rencontrant parmi vous, dans vos âges futurs, qui voudra faire un sacrifice igné d'un parfum agréable à l'Éternel, pratiquera tout ce que vous pratiquez.

And if a stranger sojourn with you, or whosoever may be among you, throughout your generations, and will offer an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD; as ye do, so he shall do.

15 Quand il y aura Assemblée, il y aura une seule règle pour vous et pour l'étranger domicilié, règle perpétuelle pour vos âges futurs; l'étranger sera sur le même pied que vous devant l'Éternel.

As for the congregation, there shall be one statute both for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you, a statute for ever throughout your generations; as ye are, so shall the stranger be before the LORD.

16 Il n'y aura qu'une seule loi, et un seul rite pour vous et pour l'étranger séjournant chez vous.

One law and one ordinance shall be both for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you.

17 Et l'Éternel parla à Moïse en ces termes:

And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying:

18 Parle aux enfants d'Israël et leur dis: Quand vous serez arrivés au pays où je vous conduis,

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them: When ye come into the land whither I bring you,

19 et que vous mangerez des denrées du pays, vous prélèverez un don pour l'Éternel.

then it shall be, that, when ye eat of the bread of the land, ye shall set apart a portion for a gift unto the LORD.

20 Comme prémices de votre mouture vous présenterez par élévation une galette; vous la présenterez comme le don prélevé sur l'aire.

Of the first of your dough ye shall set apart a cake for a gift; as that which is set apart of the threshing-floor, so shall ye set it apart.

21 Sur les prémices de votre mouture vous prélèverez un don pour l'Éternel dans tous vos âges.

Of the first of your dough ye shall give unto the LORD a portion for a gift throughout your generations.

22 Et si vous manquez et n'exécutez pas tous ces ordres que l'Éternel a donnés à Moïse,

And when ye shall err, and not observe all these commandments, which the LORD hath spoken unto Moses,

23 tout ce que l'Éternel vous a prescrit par l'organe de Moïse depuis le jour où Il vous donna des commandements et dès lors pour vos âges futurs,

even all that the LORD hath commanded you by the hand of Moses, from the day that the LORD gave commandment, and onward throughout your generations;

24 et si le fait a lieu à l'insu de l'Assemblée, par erreur, toute l'Assemblée offrira un jeune taureau en holocauste, en parfum agréable à l'Éternel, avec son offrande et sa libation selon le rite, et un bouc en sacrifice expiatoire.

then it shall be, if it be done in error by the congregation, it being hid from their eyes, that all the congregation shall offer one young bullock for a burnt-offering, for a sweet savour unto the LORD — with the meal-offering thereof, and the drink-offering thereof, according to the ordinance — and one he-goat for a sin-offering.

25 Et le Prêtre fera la propitiation pour toute l'Assemblée des enfants d'Israël, et il leur sera pardonné; car c'était une erreur; mais eux-mêmes ils présenteront leur oblation en sacrifice igné à l'Éternel, et leur victime expiatoire devant l'Éternel pour leur erreur,

And the priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and they shall be forgiven; for it was an error, and they have brought their offering, an offering made by fire unto the LORD, and their sin-offering before the LORD, for their error.

26 et ainsi il sera pardonné à toute l'Assemblée des enfants d'Israël, et à l'étranger séjournant parmi eux, car la chose est arrivée à l'Assemblée par une erreur.

And all the congregation of the children of Israel shall be forgiven, and the stranger that sojourneth among them; for in respect of all the people it was done in error.

27 Et si une personne seule pèche par erreur, elle offrira une chèvre d'un an comme victime expiatoire.

And if one person sin through error, then he shall offer a she-goat of the first year for a sin-offering.

28 Et le Prêtre fera la propitiation pour la personne qui a manqué en péchant par erreur, devant l'Éternel, la propitiation se faisant pour elle, et il lui sera pardonné.

And the priest shall make atonement for the soul that erreth, when he sinneth through error, before the LORD, to make atonement for him; and he shall be forgiven,

29 Pour l'indigène Israélite et pour l'étranger séjournant parmi vous, vous aurez une seule loi pour celui qui manque par erreur.

both he that is home-born among the children of Israel, and the stranger that sojourneth among them: ye shall have one law for him that doeth aught in error.

30 Mais la personne qui aura agi haut la main, parmi les indigènes ou les étrangers, aura outragé l'Éternel, cette personne sera éliminée du milieu de son peuple,

But the soul that doeth aught with a high hand, whether he be home-born or a stranger, the same blasphemeth the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

31 car elle aura méprisé Sa parole et enfreint Ses commandements; cette personne sera éliminée: une iniquité pèse sur elle.

Because he hath despised the word of the LORD, and hath broken His commandment; that soul shall utterly be cut off, his iniquity shall be upon him.

32 Les enfants d'Israël, étant dans le désert, surprirent un homme qui ramassait du bois le jour du Sabbat.

And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering sticks upon the sabbath day.

33 Et ceux qui l'avaient surpris ramassant du bois, l'amenèrent à Moïse et Aaron et à toute l'Assemblée.

And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto all the congregation.

34 Et on le mit en prison, parce que ce qu'il y avait à lui faire n'était pas précisé.

And they put him in ward, because it had not been declared what should be done to him.

35 Alors l'Éternel dit à Moïse: Que cet homme soit mis à mort; toute l'Assemblée le lapidera hors du camp.

And the LORD said unto Moses: 'The man shall surely be put to death; all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp.'

36 Alors toute l'Assemblée le mena hors du camp, et le lapida, et il mourut, ainsi que l'Éternel l'avait ordonné à Moïse.

And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died, as the LORD commanded Moses.

37 Et l'Éternel parla à Moïse en ces termes:

And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying:

38 Parle aux enfants d'Israël et leur dis de se faire des houppes aux angles de leurs manteaux dans tous leurs âges, et d'ajouter à la houppe de l'angle un cordon d'azur.

'Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them throughout their generations fringes in the corners of their garments, and that they put with the fringe of each corner a thread of blue.

39 Et portez-les comme des houppes dont la vue vous rappelle tous les commandements de l'Éternel, afin que vous les pratiquiez, et ne soyez pas entraînés par votre cœur et par vos yeux dont vous suivez les désirs adultères,

And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them; and that ye go not about after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go astray;

40 afin que vous vous rappeliez et que vous exécutiez tous mes ordres et que vous soyez Saints pour votre Dieu.

that ye may remember and do all My commandments, and be holy unto your God.

41 Je suis l'Éternel, votre Dieu, qui vous ai tirés du pays d'Egypte pour être votre Dieu: je suis l'Éternel, votre Dieu.

I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the LORD your God.'
