Marc 9
1 Et il leur disait: « En vérité je vous déclare qu'il y a quelques-uns de ceux qui sont ici présents, qui ne goûteront certainement point la mort jusques à ce qu'ils aient vu le royaume de Dieu inauguré avec puissance. »
He said to them, “Most certainly I tell you, there are some standing here who will in no way taste death until they see God’s Kingdom come with power.”
2 Et six jours après Jésus prend avec lui Pierre et Jacques et Jean, et il les conduit seuls à l'écart sur une haute montagne.
After six days Yeshua [Salvation] took with him Peter [Rock], James [Surplanter], and John [Yah is gracious], and brought them up onto a high mountain privately by themselves, and he was changed into another form in front of them.
3 Et il fut transfiguré en leur présence, et ses vêtements devinrent éblouissants; si blancs qu'il n'est pas sur la terre de foulon qui puisse ainsi blanchir.
His clothing became glistening, exceedingly white, like snow, such as no launderer on earth can whiten them.
4 Et Élie leur apparut avec Moïse, et ils conversaient avec Jésus;
Elijah [My God Yah] and Moses [Drawn out] appeared to them, and they were talking with Yeshua [Salvation].
5 et Pierre prenant la parole dit à Jésus: « Rabbi, c'est une bonne chose pour nous que d'être ici; faisons trois tentes, une pour toi, et une pour Moïse, et une pour Élie. »
Peter [Rock] answered Yeshua [Salvation], “Rabbi ·Teacher·, it is good for us to be here. Let’s make three tents: one for you, one for Moses [Drawn out], and one for Elijah [My God Yah].”
6 Il ne savait pas en effet ce qu'il devait dire, car ils avaient été saisis d'effroi.
For he didn’t know what to say, for they were very afraid.
7 Et une nuée survint qui les couvrit, et de la nuée sortit une voix: « Celui-ci est Mon Fils bien-aimé! Écoutez-le. »
A cloud came, overshadowing them, and a voice came out of the cloud, “This is my agapetos ·beloved, esteemed· Son. Listen to him.”
8 Et ayant sur-le-champ regardé autour d'eux, ils ne virent plus personne avec eux, sauf Jésus seul.
Suddenly looking around, they saw no one with them any more, except Yeshua [Salvation] only.
9 Et pendant qu'ils descendaient de la montagne, il leur donna des ordres, afin qu'ils ne racontassent à personne ce qu'ils avaient vu, si ce n'est lorsque le fils de l'homme serait ressuscité des morts.
As they were coming down from the mountain, he commanded them that they should tell no one what things they had seen, until after the Son of Man had risen from the dead.
10 Et ils s'attachèrent à cette parole se demandant entre eux: Que signifie: « ressusciter des morts? »
They kept this saying to themselves, questioning what the “rising from the dead” meant.
11 Et ils l'interrogeaient en disant: « Pourquoi les scribes disent-ils qu'il faut qu'Élie vienne premièrement? »
They asked him, saying, “Why do the Torah-Teachers say that Elijah [My God Yah] must come first?”
12 Mais il leur dit: « Il est vrai qu'Élie, après être premièrement venu, doit rétablir toutes choses. Et comment est-il écrit à propos du Fils de l'homme qu'il doit souffrir beaucoup et être compté pour rien?
He said to them, “Elijah [My God Yah] indeed comes first, and restores all things. How is it written about the Son of Man, that he should suffer many things and be despised?
13 Mais je vous déclare qu'Élie aussi est venu, et qu'ils lui ont fait tout ce qu'ils voulaient, selon qu'il est écrit à propos de lui. »
But I tell you that Elijah [My God Yah] has come, and they have also done to him whatever they wanted to, even as it is written about him.”
14 Et quand ils furent arrivés vers les disciples ils virent autour d'eux une foule nombreuse et des scribes qui discutaient avec eux.
Coming to the disciples, he saw a great multitude around them, and Torah-Teachers questioning them.
15 Et aussitôt toute la foule l'ayant vu fut dans l'épouvante, et elle accourait pour le saluer.
Immediately all the multitude, when they saw him, were greatly amazed, and running to him greeted him.
16 Et il leur demanda: « Sur quoi discutez-vous avec eux? »
He asked the Torah-Teachers, “What are you asking them?”
17 Et quelqu'un de la foule lui répliqua: « Maître, je t'ai amené mon fils qui a un esprit muet;
One of the multitude answered, “Rabbi ·Teacher·, I brought to you my son, who has a mute spirit;
18 et où que ce soit qu'il s'empare de lui, il le terrasse; et il écume et grince les dents et devient tout roide; et j'ai parlé à tes disciples afin qu'ils le chassassent, et ils n'ont pas pu. »
and wherever it seizes him, it throws him down, and he foams at the mouth, and grinds his teeth, and wastes away. I asked your disciples to cast it out, and they were not able.”
19 Et lui leur réplique: « O génération incrédule, jusques à quand serai-je avec vous? Amenez-le moi. »
He answered him, “Unbelieving generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him to me.”
20 Et on le lui amena. Et quand il l'eut vu, l'esprit le jeta aussitôt en convulsion, et étant tombé à terre, il se roulait en écumant.
They brought him to him, and when he saw him, immediately the spirit convulsed him, and he fell on the ground, wallowing and foaming at the mouth.
21 Et il demanda au père: « Combien de temps y a-t-il que cela lui arrive? » Et il dit: « Depuis son enfance;
He asked 'Aviv [his father], “How long has it been since this has come to him?” He said, “From childhood.
22 et souvent il l'a jeté soit dans le feu soit dans les eaux, afin de le faire périr; mais, si tu peux quelque chose, viens à notre secours par compassion pour nous. »
Often it has cast him both into the fire and into the water, to destroy him. But if you can do anything, have compassion on us, and help us.”
23 Or Jésus lui dit: « Quant à ton: « Si tu peux, » toutes choses sont possibles pour celui qui croit. »
Yeshua [Salvation] said to him, “If you can trust, all things are possible to him who trusts.”
24 Aussitôt le père du jeune enfant de s'écrier: « Je crois; viens au secours de mon incrédulité. »
Immediately the Abba father of the child cried out with tears, “I trust. Help my unbelief!”
25 Mais Jésus ayant vu accourir la multitude réprimanda l'esprit impur, en lui disant: « Esprit muet et sourd, c'est moi, c'est moi qui te l'ordonne, sors de lui et ne rentre plus en lui. »
When Yeshua [Salvation] saw that a multitude came running together, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to him, “You mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him, and never enter him again!”
26 Et ayant poussé des cris et l'ayant jeté en de violentes convulsions, il sortit; et il devint comme un cadavre, en sorte que la plupart disaient: « Il est mort. »
Having cried out, and convulsed greatly, it came out of him. The boy became like one dead; so much that most of them said, “He is dead.”
27 Mais Jésus lui ayant pris les mains le fit lever, et il se tint debout.
But Yeshua [Salvation] took him by the hand, and raised him up; and he arose.
28 Et lorsqu'il fut rentré au logis, ses disciples lui demandaient en particulier: « Pourquoi n'avons-nous pas pu le chasser nous-mêmes? »
When he had come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, “Why couldn’t we cast it out?”
29 Et il leur dit: « Cette espèce-là ne peut sortir par aucun autre moyen que par la prière. »
He said to them, “This kind can come out by nothing, except by prayer and fasting.”
30 Et étant sortis de là ils cheminaient au travers de la Galilée, et il ne voulait pas que personne le sût;
They went out from there, and passed through Galilee [District, Circuit]. He didn’t want anyone to know it.
31 car il instruisait ses disciples et disait: « Le fils de l'homme va être livré aux mains des hommes, et ils le feront mourir, et, quand il aura été mis à mort, au bout de trois jours il ressuscitera. »
For he was teaching his disciples, and said to them, “The Son of Man is being handed over to the hands of men, and they will kill him; and when he is killed, on the third day he will rise again.”
32 Mais eux ne comprenaient pas cette parole, et ils craignaient de l'interroger.
But they didn’t understand the saying, and were afraid to ask him.
33 Et ils arrivèrent à Capharnaoum. Et lorsqu'il fut dans la maison, il leur demandait: « Sur quoi discutiez-vous en chemin? »
He came to Capernaum [Village-Comfort, Village-Compassion], and when he was in the house he asked them, “What were you arguing among yourselves on the way?”
34 Mais ils se taisaient; car ils avaient discuté entre eux en chemin quel était le plus grand.
But they were silent, for they had disputed one with another on the way about who was the greatest.
35 Et s'étant assis, il appela les douze, et il leur dit: « Si quelqu'un veut être le premier, il sera le dernier de tous et le serviteur de tous. »
He sat down, and called the twelve; and he said to them, “If any man wants to be first, he shall be last of all, and servant of all.”
36 Et ayant pris un petit enfant, il le plaça au milieu d'eux, et l'ayant serré dans ses bras, il leur dit:
He took a little child, and set him in the middle of them. Taking him in his arms, he said to them,
37 « Celui qui aura reçu en mon nom l'un de ces petits enfants-là, me reçoit, et celui qui me reçoit, ce n'est pas moi qu'il reçoit, mais Celui qui m'a envoyé. »
“Whoever receives one such little child in my name, receives me, and whoever receives me, does not receive me, but him who sent me.”
38 Jean lui dit: « Maître, nous avons vu quelqu'un qui chassait des démons en ton nom, et nous l'en empêchions parce qu'il ne nous suivait pas. »
John [Yah is gracious] said to him, “Rabbi ·Teacher·, we saw someone who does not follow us casting out demons in your name; and we forbade him, because he does not follow us.”
39 Mais Jésus dit: « Ne l'en empêchez pas; car il n'est personne qui fasse un miracle en mon nom, et qui puisse aussitôt après dire du mal de moi;
But Yeshua [Salvation] said, “Don’t forbid him, for there is no one who will do a mighty work in my name, and be able quickly to speak evil of me.
40 car quiconque n'est pas contre nous est pour nous.
For whoever is not against us is on our side.
41 En effet celui qui vous aura donné à boire un verre d'eau, par la raison que vous êtes à Christ, en vérité je vous déclare qu'il ne perdra certainement pas sa récompense.
For whoever will give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because you are Messiah [Anointed one]’s, most certainly I tell you, he will in no way lose his reward.
42 Et celui qui aura scandalisé un seul de ces petits qui croient en moi, beaucoup mieux vaudrait pour lui qu'on passât autour de son col une meule de moulin à âne, et qu'on le jetât dans la mer.
Whoever will cause one of these little ones who trust in me to be scandalized ·to entrap, to cause weak knees that waiver, stumbling block that causes falling, distrusting one that should be trusted and obeyed, disapproving of authority, to judge unfavorably causing displeasure, indignant·, it would be better for him if he were thrown into the sea with a millstone hung around his neck.
43 Et si ta main a été pour toi une occasion de scandale, coupe-la; il est bon que tu entres estropié dans la vie, plutôt que d'aller, en ayant tes deux mains, dans la géhenne, dans le feu inextinguible; [ (Geenna g1067)
If your hand causes you to be scandalized ·to entrap, to cause weak knees that waiver, stumbling block that causes falling, distrusting one that should be trusted and obeyed, disapproving of authority, to judge unfavorably causing displeasure, indignant·, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having your two hands to go into Gehenna (Place of fiery torment for the dead), into the unquenchable fire, (Geenna g1067)
44 là où leur ver ne meurt point, et où le feu ne s'éteint point.]
‘where their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.’
45 Et si ton pied est pour toi une occasion de scandale, coupe-le; il est bon que tu entres boiteux dans la vie, plutôt que d'être jeté, en ayant tes deux pieds, dans la géhenne; [ (Geenna g1067)
If your foot causes you to be scandalized ·to entrap, to cause weak knees that waiver, stumbling block that causes falling, distrusting one that should be trusted and obeyed, disapproving of authority, to judge unfavorably causing displeasure, indignant·, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life lame, rather than having your two feet to be cast into Gehenna (Place of fiery torment for the dead), into the fire that will never be quenched— (Geenna g1067)
46 là où leur ver ne meurt point, et où le feu ne s'éteint point.]
‘where their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.’
47 Et si ton œil est pour toi une occasion de scandale, arrache-le; il est bon que tu entres borgne dans le royaume de Dieu, plutôt que d'être jeté, en ayant deux yeux, dans la géhenne, (Geenna g1067)
If your eye causes you to be scandalized ·to entrap, to cause weak knees that waiver, stumbling block that causes falling, distrusting one that should be trusted and obeyed, disapproving of authority, to judge unfavorably causing displeasure, indignant·, cast it out. It is better for you to enter into God’s Kingdom with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into the Gehenna (Place of fiery torment for the dead) of fire, (Geenna g1067)
48 là où leur ver ne meurt point, et où le feu ne s'éteint point;
‘where their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.’
49 car chacun sera salé de feu.
For everyone will be salted with fire, and every sacrifice will be seasoned with salt.
50 Le sel est bon; mais si le sel devient insipide, avec quoi l'assaisonnerez-vous?
Salt is good, but if the salt has lost its saltiness, with what will you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with one another.”
