Osée 13
1 Quand Éphraïm parla, ce fut une terreur; il s'éleva en Israël; mais il fut coupable en servant Baal et périt.
When spoke Ephraim trembling he lifted up he in Israel and he became guilty by Baal and he died.
2 Et maintenant ils continuent à pécher et ils se font des statues, et de leur argent, à leur idée, des images, le tout œuvre d'artisan. D'elles ils disent: Que quiconque sacrifie, embrasse les veaux!
And now - they increase to sin and they have made for themselves a molten image from silver their according to skill their idols [is the] work of craftsmen all of it of them they [are] saying [those who] offer sacrifice of humankind calves they will kiss!
3 Aussi seront-ils comme la nuée du matin, comme la rosée aussitôt évanouie, comme la balle emportée de l'aire, et comme la fumée hors de la cheminée.
Therefore they will become like a cloud of [the] morning and like dew rising early going like chaff [which] it is storm-driven from a threshing floor and like smoke from a window.
4 Mais je suis l'Éternel, ton Dieu, dès le pays d'Egypte, et tu ne dois connaître d'autre Dieu que moi, et il n'y a de sauveur que moi.
And I [am] Yahweh God your from [the] land of Egypt and gods besides me not you must know and [is] a deliverer there not except me.
5 Je pris soin de toi dans le désert, dans la terre aride.
I I knew you in the wilderness in a land of drought.
6 Comme je les faisais paître, ils furent rassasiés, et leur cœur s'éleva: c'est pourquoi ils m'oublièrent.
According to pasture their and they were satisfied they were satisfied and it was exalted heart their there-fore they forgot me.
7 Aussi serai-je pour eux comme un lion, comme la panthère sur la route je serai aux aguets;
And I became to them like a lion like a leopard on a road I will watch.
8 je fondrai sur eux comme une ourse qui a perdu ses petits, et je déchirerai la clôture de leur cœur, et les dévorerai là, comme une lionne; les bêtes des champs les dépeceront.
I will meet them like a bear robbed of cubs so I may tear [the] cavity of heart their and I will devour them there like a lion animal of the field it will tear to pieces them.
9 Ce qui te perd, Israël, c'est d'être contre moi, contre ton aide.
It will destroy you O Israel for in me in helper your.
10 Où est donc ton roi? qu'il te délivre dans toutes tes villes! et tes juges? Cependant tu disais: Donne-moi un roi et des princes!
Where? [is] king your then so he may save you in all cities your and rulers your whom you said give! to me a king and leaders.
11 Je te donne un roi dans ma colère, et te l'enlève dans mon courroux.
I gave to you a king in anger my so I may take [him] away in wrath my.
12 Le crime d'Éphraïm est serré, et son péché mis en réserve.
[is] bound up [the] iniquity of Ephraim [is] stored up sin his.
13 Les douleurs de l'enfantement lui viendront; c'est un enfant stupide, car au bon moment il ne paraît pas aux portes de la vie.
[the] pains of [one who] gives birth They will come to him he [is] a son not wise if a time not he will present himself at birth of children.
14 De l'Enfer je veux les sauver, et de la mort les délivrer. Mort, où est ton fléau? Enfer, où est ta peste? Le repentir se dérobe à ma vue. (Sheol h7585)
From [the] hand of Sheol will I ransom? them from death will I redeem? them where? [are] thorns your O death where? [is] destruction your O Sheol compassion it will be hidden from eyes my. (Sheol h7585)
15 Sans doute il est fertile au milieu de ses frères; mais le vent d'est arrive; le vent de l'Éternel monte du désert; sa source sera tarie et sa fontaine mise à sec. Il saccagera le trésor de toute sa vaisselle précieuse.
For he a son brothers he flourishes it will come an east wind [the] wind of Yahweh from [the] wilderness [is] about to come up and it may be withered spring his so it may be dried up spring his it it will plunder [the] treasury of every article of preciousness.
16 Samarie sera punie, car elle fut rebelle à son Dieu; ils périront par l'épée; ses enfants seront écrasés, et ses femmes enceintes éventrées.
It will be held guilty Samaria for it has rebelled against God its by the sword they will fall children their they will be dashed in pieces and pregnant [women] its they will be ripped open.
