Ézéchiel 47
1 Ensuite il me ramena à la porte de la maison: et voici, de l'eau jaillissait sous le seuil de la maison du côté de l'orient, car la façade de la maison était tournée à l'orient; et l'eau descendait par dessous le côté droit de la maison au midi de l'autel.
Afterward he brought me again to the door of the house; and behold, waters issued forth from under the threshold of the house eastward; for the fore-front of the house stood toward the east. And the waters flowed down from the side of the house, south of the altar.
2 Et il m'emmena par la porte du nord, et il me fit traverser en dehors jusqu'à la porte extérieure par le chemin qui avait la direction de l'orient, et voici, l'eau jaillissait du côté droit.
Then he brought me out by the way of the gate northward; and he brought me round by the way without to the outer gate, that looked toward the east; and behold, there ran out waters from the right side.
3 Quand l'homme sortit du côté de l'orient, il avait un cordeau en sa main, et il mesura mille coudées, et il me fit traverser l'eau, et l'eau me mouillait les extrémités.
And when the man that had the line in his hand went forth eastward, he measured a thousand cubits, and he led me through the waters, and the waters were to the soles of the feet.
4 Puis il mesura mille coudées et me fit traverser l'eau, et j'avais de l'eau jusqu'aux genoux. Ensuite il mesura mille coudées, et me fit traverser, et j'avais de l'eau jusqu'aux reins.
Again he measured a thousand cubits, and led me through the waters, and the waters were to the knees. Again he measured a thousand cubits, and led me through, and the waters were to the loins.
5 Et il mesura encore mille coudées; c'était une rivière que je ne pouvais traverser, car l'eau était profonde; c'était une eau où l'on pouvait nager, un torrent que l'on ne pouvait passer.
Again he measured a thousand cubits, and it was a river, which I could not pass through; for the waters were high, waters to swim in, a river which could not be passed through.
6 Et il me dit: As-tu vu, fils de l'homme? et il me ramena au bord de la rivière.
And he said to me, Hast thou seen this, son of man? Then he brought me back to the brink of the river.
7 Y étant revenu, je vis sur le bord de la rivière des arbres en très grand nombre d'un côté et de l'autre.
Now when I had returned, behold, at the brink of the river were very many trees, on the one side and on the other.
8 Et il me dit: Cette eau s'écoulera du côté du canton oriental, descendra dans la plaine et se jettera dans la mer: c'est dans la mer qu'elle se jettera, et les eaux de la mer seront rendues saines.
Then said he to me, These waters issue forth toward the east region, and run down into the desert, and go into the sea; they go forth into the sea, and the waters shall be healed.
9 Et toutes les espèces des êtres animés qui se meuvent, vivront partout où coulera la rivière; et il y aura des poissons en très grand nombre; car si cette eau arrive quelque part, tout sera sain et vivant partout où pénétrera la rivière:
And it shall come to pass, that every living thing that moveth, whithersoever the river shall come, shall live, and there shall be very many fish there; for when these waters shall come thither, [[the waters of the sea]] shall be healed, and everything shall live whither the river cometh.
10 et des pêcheurs s'y tiendront, d'En-Gueddi à En-Eglaïm étendant leurs filets; il y aura des poissons d'espèces diverses, pareils aux poissons de la grande mer et en très grand nombre.
And it shall come to pass that fishers shall stand upon it; from En-gedi to En-eglaim shall be places to spread nets; and therein shall be fish according to their kinds, like the fish of the great sea, exceeding many.
11 Ses marais et ses lagunes ne seront point assainis; ils sont abandonnés au sel.
But the miry places thereof, and the marshes thereof, shall not be healed; they shall be appointed for salt.
12 Et sur la rivière, sur ses bords de part et d'autre, croîtront toutes sortes d'arbres fruitiers; leur feuillage ne se flétrira point, et leurs fruits ne s'épuiseront point; tous les mois ils mûriront, parce que leurs eaux sortiront du sanctuaire; et leurs fruits seront une nourriture, et leurs feuilles un médicament.
And by the river, upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for food, whose leaf shall not fade, and whose fruit shall not fail; every month shall they bring forth new fruit; because their waters issue forth from the sanctuary. And their fruit shall be for food, and their leaves for medicine.
13 Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Voici les limites d'après lesquelles vous partagerez le pays entre les douze tribus d'Israël: pour Joseph, deux parts;
Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: This is the border, according to which ye shall distribute the land among the twelve tribes of Israel. Joseph shall have two portions.
14 d'ailleurs vos lots seront égaux pour l'un comme pour l'autre. Car de ma main levée j'ai juré de le donner à vos pères, et ce pays vous est dévolu en héritage.
And ye shall inherit it, one like another. For I have lifted up my hand, that I would give it to your fathers; and this land shall fall to you for an inheritance.
15 Or, voici la frontière du pays: Au nord, depuis la grande mer, le chemin de Hethlon jusqu'à Tsédad,
And this shall be the border of the land toward the north side: from the great sea toward the way of Hethlon, as men go to Zedad,
16 Hamath, Bérotha, Sibraïm située entre la frontière de Damas et la frontière de Hamath, et Hatser-Hattikon située aux confins de l'Hauran.
Hamath, Berothah, Sibraim, which is between the border of Damascus and the border of Hamath, and Hazar-hatticon, which is by the coast of Hauran.
17 Et la frontière sera depuis la mer à Hatsar-Enon, frontière de Damas, et le nord, au nord, et la frontière de Hamath. C'est là le côté du nord.
And the border from the sea shall be Hazar-Enon, the border of Damascus and farther northward, and the border of Hamath.
18 Et le côté oriental est entre l'Hauran et Damas; et le Jourdain entre Galaad et le pays d'Israël: de la frontière vous mesurerez jusqu'à la mer orientale. C'est là le côté de l'orient.
This is the north side. And the east side ye shall measure between Hauran and Damascus, and between Gilead and the land of Israel by the Jordan, from the border to the east sea. This is the east side.
19 Le côté méridional sera depuis Thamar, jusques aux Eaux de querelle, Kadès, jusqu'au torrent d'Egypte vers la grande mer. C'est le côté du midi.
And the south side southward shall be from Tamar to the waters of strife in Kadesh, as far as the river by the great sea.
20 Et le côté occidental sera la grande mer, depuis la frontière jusque vis-à-vis de Hamath. C'est le côté occidental.
This is the south side southward. And the west side shall be the great sea, from the border till a man come over against Hamath. This is the west side.
21 C'est ce pays que vous diviserez entre vous selon les tribus d'Israël,
So shall ye divide this land among you, according to the tribes of Israel.
22 et vous le partagerez au sort par héritages entre vous et les étrangers domiciliés parmi vous, qui auront engendré des fils parmi vous, et vous les regarderez comme indigènes, comme enfants d'Israël; ils partageront au sort avec vous parmi les tribus d'Israël.
And ye shall divide it by lot for an inheritance to you, and to the strangers that sojourn among you, who have begotten children among you; and they shall be to you as born in the country among the sons of Israel; they shall have an inheritance with you among the tribes of Israel.
23 C'est dans la tribu où l'étranger sera domicilié, que vous lui donnerez son lot, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel.
And it shall come to pass, that in what tribe the stranger sojourneth there shall ye appoint him his inheritance, saith the Lord Jehovah.
