Ézéchiel 43

1 Et il me conduisit à la porte, à la porte qui donnait à l'orient.

Then he took me unto the gate, —even the gate that looked toward the east;

2 Et voici, la gloire du Dieu d'Israël s'avançait de l'orient, et son retentissement était comme le retentissement des grandes eaux,

when lo! the glory of the God of Israel coming from the way of the east, —and the sound of him, was as the sound of many waters, and the earth shone with his glory.

3 et la terre était éclairée de sa splendeur. Et c'était un aspect comme celui de la vision que j'avais eue, comme la vision que j'avais eue, lorsque je vins annoncer la ruine de la ville, et c'était une vision pareille à celle que j'avais eue près du fleuve Chébar. Et je tombai sur mon visage.

And it was like the appearance of the vision which I had seen like the vision which I saw—when I came in to destroy the city, also the visions were like the vision which I saw by the river Chebar, —so I fell upon my face.

4 Et la gloire de l'Éternel entra dans la maison par la porte qui donnait à l'orient,

And the glory of Yahweh entered into the house, —by way of the gate which looked toward the east.

5 et l'Esprit me souleva et me transporta dans le parvis intérieur, et voici, la gloire de l'Éternel remplissait la maison;

So then the spirit lifted me up, and brought me into the inner court, —and lo! the glory of Yahweh filled the house.

6 et j'entendis quelqu'un qui me parlait depuis la maison, et un homme se tenait à côté de moi.

Then heard I one speaking unto me. out of the house, —and a man, there was standing beside me.

7 Et Il me dit: Fils de l'homme, c'est ici la place de mon trône, et la place de la plante de mes pieds, où je résiderai parmi les enfants d'Israël, éternellement. Et la maison d'Israël ne déshonorera plus mon saint nom, ni eux, ni leurs rois, par leur impudicité, et par les cadavres de leurs rois sur leurs tertres,

Then said he unto me, Son of man This is the place of my throne and the place of the soles of my feet where I would dwell in the midst of the sons of Israel to times age-abiding, - But the house of Israel must, no more defile my holy Name. They, nor their kings by their unchastity, and by the carcases of their kings in their high places,

8 quand ils mettaient leurs seuils à côté de mon seuil et leurs portes près de mes portes, tandis qu'il y a un mur entre moi et eux; et ainsi, ils souillèrent mon saint nom par les abominations qu'ils commirent; c'est pourquoi je les ai détruits dans ma colère.

When they placed— Their threshold by my threshold and their door-post beside my door-post, With, only the wall, between me and them, then defiled they my holy Name by their abominations which they committed, Wherefore I devoured them in mine anger.

9 Maintenant leur impudicité et les cadavres de leurs rois demeureront loin de moi, et j'habiterai au milieu d'eux éternellement.

Now, let them remove their unchastity and the carcases of their kings far from me, - So will I make my habitation in the midst of them, to times age-abiding.

10 Or toi, fils de l'homme, montre à la maison d'Israël cette maison, afin qu'ils rougissent de leurs crimes, et qu'ils mesurent l'édifice.

Thou, son of man, Declare the house unto the house of Israel, That they may be put to the blush for their iniquities, - Then let them measure the pattern.

11 Et s'ils rougissent de tout ce qu'ils ont fait, expose-leur le plan de cette maison, et sa disposition, et ses issues et ses entrées, et toute sa disposition et toutes ses règles, et toute sa disposition et toutes ses lois, et mets-en sous leurs yeux la description, afin qu'ils retiennent son plan dans son entier, et toutes ses règles, et qu'ils s'y conforment.

And when they have blushed for all that they have done, then The form of the house. And the arrangement thereof And the exits thereof. And the entrances thereof And all the forms thereof, and all the statutes thereof. And all the forms thereof and all the laws thereof, make thou known unto them, And write [it] before their eyes; That they may keep— All the forms thereof And all the statutes thereof. And do them.

12 Telle est la loi de la maison. Sur le sommet de la montagne, dans toute l'étendue de son enceinte, que tout soit un lieu très saint. Voici, c'est là la loi de la maison.

This shall be the law of the house, — Upon the top of the mountain, all the boundary thereof round about on every side, [shall be] most holy, Lo! this, shall be the law of the house.

13 Et voici les mesures de l'autel en coudées, la coudée d'une coudée et une palme: le foyer une coudée, et une coudée de largeur; et le rebord qui terminait son contour avait un empan de largeur; tel est le support de l'autel.

And these, shall be the measures of the altar, in cubits, a cubit being a cubit and a handbreadth; and the hollow, shall be a cubit, and a cubit the breadth, and the boundary thereof unto the edge thereof round about shall be a single span. And this, shall be the upper part of the altar,

14 Et depuis la base de terre jusqu'à la première partie rentrante il y aura deux coudées, et une coudée de largeur; et depuis cette partie rentrante qui est plus petite, jusqu'à la plus grande, il y aura quatre coudées, et en largeur une coudée.

And from the hollow of the ground unto the lower ledge, [shall be] two cubits, and the breadth, one cubit, - and from the smaller ledge unto the larger ledge, [shall be] four cubits, and the breadth, a cubit.

15 Et le harel aura quatre coudées, et au-dessus de l'ariel seront les quatre cornes:

And the hearth, [shall, be] four cubits, —and from the hearth and upward, the horns [shall be] four.

16 et l'ariel aura douze coudées de longueur sur douze coudées de largeur, en carré, et à ses quatre côtés.

And the hearth shall be twelve cubits in length, by twelve in breadth—square in the four sides thereof.

17 Et la partie rentrante [supérieure] aura quatorze coudées de longueur sur quatorze coudées de largeur à ses quatre côtés, et le rebord qui terminera son contour aura une demi-coudée, et sa base sera d'une coudée tout autour, et son escalier tourné à l'orient.

And the ledge shall be fourteen in length, by fourteen in breadth, unto the four sides thereof, —and the boundary round about it shall be half a cubit and, the hollow thereto, a cubit round about, with, the steps thereof, looking toward the east.

18 Et il me dit: Fils de l'homme, ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Ce sont les règlements de l'autel pour le temps où on le fera, afin d'y sacrifier les holocaustes, et d'y répandre le sang.

Then said he unto me, Son of man, Thus saith My Lord, Yahweh, These, shall be the statutes of the altar, in the day when it is made, —for offering up thereon—an ascending-sacrifice, and for dashing thereon—blood.

19 Aux prêtres, aux lévites de la race de Tsadok, qui s'approchent de moi pour me servir, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel, tu donneras un jeune taureau comme victime pour le péché,

So then thou shalt give unto the priests the Levites those who are of the seed of Zadok who approach unto me Declareth My Lord Yahweh. to wait upon me—a young bullock as a sin-bearer,

20 et tu prendras de son sang, et tu l'en teindras à ses quatre cornes, et aux quatre angles de la partie rentrante, et au rebord qui l'entoure, et ainsi tu en feras la purification et l'expiation.

Then shalt thou take of the blood thereof and place upon the four horns thereof and on the four corners of the ledge, and on the boundary, round about, —and shalt cleanse it from sin and put a propitiatory-covering over it.

21 Et tu prendras le taureau expiatoire, et le brûleras dans un lieu déterminé de la maison en dehors du sanctuaire.

Then shalt thou take the bullock bearing sin, - and shalt burn it in the appointed place of the house, outside the sanctuary,

22 Et le second jour, tu offriras un bouc sans défaut en expiation du péché, et on fera l'expiation de l'autel, comme on l'aura faite avec le taureau.

And on the second day, shalt thou bring near a kid of the goats without defect as a sin-bearer, —and they shall cleanse the altar from sin just as they cleansed it from sin with the bullock,

23 Et quand tu auras terminé l'expiation, tu offriras un jeune taureau sans défaut, et un bélier du troupeau, sans défaut,

When thou hast made an end of cleansing from sin, thou shalt bring near a young bullock without defect, and a ram out of the flock without defect;

24 et tu les offriras à l'Éternel; et les prêtres répandront du sel sur eux et les offriront en holocauste à l'Éternel.

and shalt bring them near before Yahweh, —and the priests shall cast over them salt, so shall they cause them to go up as an ascending-sacrifice to Yahweh.

25 Pendant sept jours tu sacrifieras journellement un bouc comme victime expiatoire; et ils sacrifieront un jeune taureau et un bélier du troupeau sans défaut.

Seven days, shalt thou offer a sin-bearing goat for each day, —and a young bullock and aram out of the flock without defect, shall they offer.

26 Pendant sept jours ils feront l'expiation de l'autel, et sa purification et sa consécration:

Seven days, shall they put a propitiatory covering over the altar, and shall purify it, —and shall consecrate it.

27 et ces jours étant accomplis, le huitième jour et dès lors les prêtres offriront sur l'autel vos holocaustes et vos offrandes, et je vous recevrai favorablement, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel.

When the days shall be accomplished, then shall it be on the eighth day and forward, that the priests shall offer upon the altar your ascending-sacrifices and your peace offerings. And I will accept you Declareth, My Lord Yahweh.
