Éphésiens 3
1 C'est pour cela que, moi Paul, je suis le prisonnier de Christ Jésus pour vous, les Gentils,
For this cause I, Paul, am the prisoner of Messiah Yeshua on behalf of you Gentiles,
2 si, en effet, vous avez ouï parler de la manière dont m'a été dispensée la grâce de Dieu qui m'a été donnée pour vous;
if it is so that you have heard of the administration of that grace of God which was given me toward you,
3 c'est par révélation que m'a été communiqué le mystère, tel que je l'ai ci-devant écrit en peu de mots;
how that by revelation the mystery was made known to me, as I wrote before in few words,
4 d'après quoi vous pouvez, en me lisant, comprendre que je suis versé dans le mystère de Christ,
by which, when you read, you can perceive my understanding in the mystery of Messiah,
5 lequel n'a pas été communiqué en d'autres générations aux fils des hommes, comme il a été maintenant révélé à Ses saints et à Ses prophètes par l'Esprit;
which in other generations was not made known to the children of men, as it has now been revealed to his holy emissaries and prophets in the Spirit,
6 c'est à savoir, que les Gentils sont cohéritiers, et membres du même corps, et coparticipants de la promesse en Christ Jésus, par l'Évangile
that the Gentiles are fellow heirs and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of his promise in Messiah Yeshua through the Good News,
7 dont j'ai été fait ministre selon le don de la grâce de Dieu qui m'a été donnée, et selon l'efficace de Sa puissance.
of which I was made a servant according to the gift of that grace of God which was given me according to the working of his power.
8 C'est à moi, le moindre de tous les saints, qu'a été donnée cette grâce d'annoncer aux Gentils la bonne nouvelle de la richesse impénétrable de Christ,
To me, the very least of all holy ones, was this grace given, to proclaim to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Messiah,
9 et de les éclairer tous sur la dispensation du mystère caché de tout temps en Dieu qui a créé toutes choses, (aiōn g165)
and to make all men see what is the administration of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in God, who created all things through Yeshua the Messiah, (aiōn g165)
10 afin que, maintenant, la sagesse infiniment diverse de Dieu fût portée par l'Église à la connaissance des dominations et des autorités dans les lieux célestes,
to the intent that now through the assembly the manifold wisdom of God might be made known to the principalities and the powers in the heavenly places,
11 selon le dessein formé de tout temps qu'il a accompli en Christ Jésus notre seigneur, (aiōn g165)
according to the eternal purpose which he accomplished in Messiah Yeshua our Lord. (aiōn g165)
12 en qui nous possédons avec confiance la liberté et l'accès par la foi que nous avons en lui.
In him we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him.
13 Aussi je vous demande de ne point vous laisser décourager par les tribulations que je souffre pour vous, ce qui est votre gloire.
Therefore I ask that you may not lose heart at my troubles for you, which are your glory.
14 C'est à cause de cela que je ploie les genoux devant le Père,
For this cause, I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah,
15 duquel tire son nom toute lignée dans les cieux et sur la terre,
from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named,
16 afin qu'il vous donne, selon la richesse de Sa gloire, d'être puissamment fortifiés par Son esprit dans l'homme intérieur,
that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner person,
17 en sorte que Christ habite par la foi dans vos cœurs,
that Messiah may dwell in your hearts through faith, to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 afin que, étant enracinés et fondés dans la charité, vous puissiez pleinement comprendre avec tous les saints quelle est la largeur et la longueur, et la profondeur et la hauteur,
may be strengthened to comprehend with all the holy ones what is the width and length and height and depth,
19 et connaître la charité de Christ qui surpasse la connaissance, afin que toute la plénitude de Dieu s'accomplisse.
and to know Messiah’s love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
20 Or, qu'à Celui qui peut plus que tout faire, bien au delà de ce que nous demandons ou de ce que nous pensons, selon la puissance qui se déploie en nous,
Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,
