Deutéronome 16
1 Observe le mois des épis pour faire la Pâque à l'Éternel, ton Dieu; car c'est dans le mois des épis que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, t'a retiré de l'Egypte, pendant la nuit.
Observe the month of Abib, and prepare the passover-sacrifice unto the Lord thy God; for in the month of Abib did the Lord thy God bring thee forth out of Egypt by night.
2 Et sacrifie comme Pâque à l'Éternel, ton Dieu, du menu et du gros bétail, dans le lieu que choisira l'Éternel, ton Dieu, pour y fixer son nom.
And thou shalt sacrifice the passover-offering unto the Lord thy God of sheep and oxen, in the place which the Lord will choose to let his name dwell there.
3 Et tu ne mangeras en même temps rien de fermenté; pendant sept jours tu y joindras des azymes, pain du malheur, parce que tu sortis à la précipitée du pays d'Egypte; afin que tu te souviennes toute ta vie du jour de ta sortie du pays d'Egypte.
Thou shalt not eat therewith any leavened bread: seven days shalt thou eat therewith unleavened bread, the bread of affliction; for in haste didst thou go forth out of the land of Egypt; in order that thou mayest remember the day of thy going forth out of the land of Egypt all the days of thy life.
4 Et qu'il ne paraisse pas de levain chez toi dans tout ton territoire pendant sept jours, et que de la chair du sacrifice que tu feras le soir du premier jour, rien ne soit conservé au delà de la nuit jusqu'au matin.
And there shall not be seen with thee any leaven in all thy borders seven days: neither shall there any of the flesh, which thou sacrificedst in the evening, on the first day, remain all night until the morning.
5 Tu n'as pas la faculté de faire le sacrifice de la Pâque dans l'une de tes villes que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, te donne;
Thou mayest not slay the passover within any of thy gates, which the Lord thy God giveth thee;
6 mais c'est dans le lieu que choisira l'Éternel, ton Dieu, pour y fixer son nom, que tu feras le sacrifice de la Pâque, le soir au coucher du soleil, moment de ta sortie de l'Egypte.
But at the place which the Lord thy God will choose to let his name dwell in, there shalt thou slay the passover at evening, at the going down of the sun, at the season that thou camest forth out of Egypt.
7 Et fais-le cuire et le mange dans le lieu que choisira l'Éternel, ton Dieu, et le matin retourne-t'en et prends le chemin de tes tentes.
And thou shalt roast and eat it in the place which the Lord thy God will choose; and thou shalt turn in the morning, and go unto thy tents.
8 Pendant six jours tu mangeras des azymes, et le septième jour il y aura solennelle convocation en l'honneur de l'Éternel, ton Dieu, tu t'abstiendras de tout travail.
Six days shalt thou eat unleavened bread; and on the seventh day shall be a solemn assembly to the Lord thy God: thou shalt do no work.
9 Tu compteras sept semaines; à partir du moment où la faux commence à être mise aux blés, tu commenceras à compter sept semaines.
Seven weeks shalt thou number unto thyself: from the time thou beginnest to put the sickle to the corn, shalt thou begin to number seven weeks.
10 Puis célèbre la fête des Semaines en l'honneur de l'Éternel, ton Dieu, calculant l'oblation volontaire de ta main, que tu offriras, d'après la bénédiction que t'aura accordée l'Éternel, ton Dieu;
And thou shalt keep the feast of weeks unto the Lord thy God with a tribute of a freewill-offering of thy hand, which thou shalt give: according as the Lord thy God shall have blessed thee.
11 et tu te réjouiras devant l'Éternel, ton Dieu, toi et ton fils et ta fille et ton serviteur et ta servante et le Lévite qui est dans tes Portes et l'étranger et l'orphelin et la veuve qui sont au milieu de toi, dans le lieu que choisira l'Éternel, ton Dieu, pour y fixer son nom;
And thou shalt rejoice before the Lord thy God, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy man-servant, and thy maid-servant, and the Levite that is within thy gates, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are in the midst of thee, in the place which the Lord thy God will choose to let his name dwell there.
12 et tu te rappelleras que tu fus esclave en Egypte, pour garder et mettre en pratique tous ces statuts.
And thou shalt remember that thou hast been a bond-man in Egypt; and thou shalt observe and do these statutes.
13 Tu célébreras la fête des loges pendant sept jours, lorsque tu auras retiré tes récoltes de ton aire et de ton pressoir.
The feast of tabernacles shalt thou hold for thyself seven days, when thou hast gathered in the produce of thy threshing-floor and of thy wine-press:
14 Et réjouis-toi dans cette fête, toi et ton fils et ta fille et ton serviteur et ta servante et le Lévite et l'étranger et l'orphelin et la veuve qui sont dans tes Portes.
And thou shalt rejoice on thy feast, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy man-servant, and thy maid-servant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are within thy gates.
15 Tu fêteras sept jours en l'honneur de l'Éternel, ton Dieu, dans le lieu que choisira l'Éternel. Car l'Éternel, ton Dieu, te bénira dans toute ta récolte et dans tout le travail de tes mains, afin que tu n'aies que de la joie.
Seven days shalt thou keep a solemn feast unto the Lord thy God in the place which the Lord will choose; because the Lord thy God will bless thee in all thy product, and in all the work of thy hands, and thou shalt only rejoice.
16 Trois fois dans l'année, tous tes hommes se présenteront devant la face de l'Éternel, ton Dieu, dans le lieu qu'il choisira, à la fête des azymes, et à la fête des Semaines, et à la fête des loges, et l'on ne paraîtra pas devant l'Éternel, les mains vides,
Three times in the year shall every one of thy males appear before the Lord thy God in the place which he will choose: on the feast of unleavened bread, and on the feast of weeks, and on the feast of tabernacles; and no one shall appear before the Lord empty;
17 mais chacun selon ce qu'il peut offrir en raison de l'abondance dont l'Éternel, ton Dieu, t'aura béni.
Every man according to what his hand can give, according to the blessing of the Lord thy God which he hath given thee.
18 Tu établiras sur toi des Juges et des magistrats dans toutes tes Portes que te donnera l'Éternel, ton Dieu, d'après tes Tribus, afin qu'ils jugent le peuple d'un jugement juste.
Judges and officers shalt thou appoint unto thyself in all thy gates, which the Lord thy God giveth thee, throughout thy tribes: and they shall judge the people with a just judgment.
19 Tu ne feras pas fléchir le droit, et tu ne feras pas acception des personnes, et tu n'accepteras point de présents, car les présents aveuglent les yeux des sages et gâtent les causes des justes.
Thou shalt not wrest judgment; thou shalt not respect persons, and thou shalt not take a bribe; for the bribe blindeth the eyes of the wise, and perverteth the words of the righteous.
20 La justice, la justice est le but que tu as à poursuivre afin que tu vives et te rendes maître du pays que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, te donne.
Justice, only justice shalt thou pursue; in order that thou mayest live, and retain possession of the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
21 Tu ne planteras point d'Aschères d'aucune espèce d'arbres, à côté de l'Autel de l'Éternel, ton Dieu, que tu te construiras,
Thou shalt not plant unto thyself a grove, any tree, near the altar of the Lord thy God, which thou shalt make unto thyself.
22 et n'élèveras point des statues que hait l'Éternel, ton Dieu.
Neither shalt thou set thee up any statue, which the Lord thy God hateth.
