Psaumes 63
1 O Dieu, tu es mon Dieu, je te cherche au point du jour; mon âme a soif de toi, ma chair te souhaite, dans cette terre aride, desséchée, sans eau,
A Psalme of David. When he was in the wildernesse of Judah. O God, thou art my God, earely will I seeke thee: my soule thirsteth for thee: my flesh longeth greatly after thee in a barren and drye land without water.
2 Pour voir ta force et ta gloire, comme je t'ai contemplé dans le sanctuaire.
Thus I beholde thee as in the Sanctuarie, when I beholde thy power and thy glorie.
3 Car ta bonté est meilleure que la vie; mes lèvres chanteront ta louange.
For thy louing kindnesse is better then life: therefore my lippes shall prayse thee.
4 Ainsi je te bénirai pendant ma vie; j'élèverai mes mains en ton nom.
Thus will I magnifie thee all my life, and lift vp mine hands in thy name.
5 Mon âme est rassasiée comme de mœlle et de graisse; ma bouche te loue avec des cris de réjouissance;
My soule shalbe satisfied, as with marowe and fatnesse, and my mouth shall praise thee with ioyfull lippes,
6 Quand je me souviens de toi sur mon lit, et que je médite sur toi pendant les veilles de la nuit.
When I remember thee on my bedde, and when I thinke vpon thee in the night watches.
7 Car tu as été mon secours; aussi je me réjouirai sous l'ombre de tes ailes.
Because thou hast bene mine helper, therefore vnder the shadow of thy wings wil I reioyce.
8 Mon âme s'est attachée à toi pour te suivre, et ta droite me soutient.
My soule cleaueth vnto thee: for thy right hand vpholdeth me.
9 Mais ceux qui cherchent ma vie pour la détruire, descendront dans les profondeurs de la terre.
Therefore they that seeke my soule to destroy it, they shall goe into the lowest partes of the earth.
10 Ils seront livrés au tranchant de l'épée; ils seront la proie des renards.
They shall cast him downe with the edge of the sword, and they shall be a portion for foxes.
11 Mais le roi se réjouira en Dieu, et quiconque jure par lui, s'en glorifiera; car la bouche de ceux qui parlent faussement sera fermée.
But the King shall reioyce in God, and all that sweare by him shall reioyce in him: for the mouth of them that speake lyes, shall be stopped.
