Psaumes 126

1 Cantique de Maaloth. Quand l'Éternel ramena les captifs de Sion, nous étions comme ceux qui font un rêve.

Lapho iNkosi ibuyisa abathunjiweyo beZiyoni, saba njengabaphuphayo.

2 Alors notre bouche fut pleine de cris de joie, et notre langue de chants de triomphe. Alors on disait parmi les nations: L'Éternel a fait de grandes choses à ceux-ci.

Umlomo wethu wasugcwala uhleko, lolimi lwethu ukuhlabelela. Basebesithi phakathi kwezizwe: INkosi ibenzele izinto ezinkulu.

3 L'Éternel nous a fait de grandes choses; nous en avons été joyeux.

INkosi isenzele izinto ezinkulu; siyathokoza.

4 Éternel, ramène nos captifs, comme les ruisseaux au pays du midi!

Buyisa, Nkosi, ukuthunjwa kwethu, njengezifula zeningizimu.

5 Ceux qui sèment avec larmes, moissonneront avec chants de triomphe.

Abahlanyela ngezinyembezi bazavuna ngentokozo.

6 Celui qui porte la semence pour la répandre, marche en pleurant; mais il reviendra en chantant de joie, quand il portera ses gerbes.

Yena ohamba ahambe ekhala inyembezi, ephethe inhlanyelo yokuhlanyela, isibili uzabuya ethokoza, ethwele inyanda zakhe.
