1 Et l'Éternel dit à Noé: Entre, toi et toute ta maison, dans l'arche; car je t'ai vu juste devant moi dans cette génération.
Also the Lord seide to Noe, Entre thou and al thin hous in to the schip, for Y seiy thee iust bifore me in this generacioun.
2 Tu prendras avec toi de tous les animaux purs, sept paires de chaque espèce, le mâle et sa femelle; mais des bêtes qui ne sont pas pures, deux, le mâle et sa femelle.
Of alle clene lyuynge beestis thou schalt take bi seuene and bi seuene, male and female; forsothe of vnclene lyuynge beestis thou schalt take bi tweyne and bi tweyne, male and female;
3 Tu prendras aussi des oiseaux des cieux, sept paires, mâle et femelle, pour en conserver la race sur la face de toute la terre.
but also of volatils of heuene thou schalt take, bi seuene and bi seuene, male and female, that her seed be saued on the face of al erthe.
4 Car dans sept jours je ferai pleuvoir sur la terre, pendant quarante jours et quarante nuits; et j'exterminerai de dessus la terre tous les êtres que j'ai faits.
For yit and aftir seuene daies Y schal reyne on erthe fourti daies and fourti nyytis, and Y schal do awey al substaunce which Y made, fro the face of erthe.
5 Et Noé fit tout ce que l'Éternel lui avait commandé.
Therfor Noe dide alle thingis whiche the Lord comaundide to hym.
6 Or, Noé était âgé de six cents ans, quand le déluge eut lieu, et que les eaux vinrent sur la terre.
And he was of sixe hundrid yeer, whanne the watris of the greet flood flowiden on erthe.
7 Noé entra donc dans l'arche, et ses fils, sa femme, et les femmes de ses fils avec lui, à cause des eaux du déluge.
And Noe entride in to the schip, and hise sones, and hise wijf, and the wyues of his sones, entriden with him for the watris of the greet flood.
8 Des animaux purs et des animaux qui ne sont pas purs, et des oiseaux, et de tout ce qui rampe sur la terre,
And of lyuynge beestis clene and vnclene, and of briddis of heuene, and of ech beeste which is moued on erthe,
9 Deux par deux, mâle et femelle, entrèrent vers Noé dans l'arche, comme Dieu l'avait commandé à Noé.
bi tweyne and bi tweyne, male and female entriden to Noe in to the schip, as the Lord comaundide to Noe.
10 Et il arriva, au bout des sept jours, que les eaux du déluge furent sur la terre.
And whanne seuene daies hadden passid, the watris of the greet flood flowiden on erthe.
11 En l'an six cent de la vie de Noé, au second mois, au dix-septième jour du mois, en ce jour-là, toutes les sources du grand abîme éclatèrent, et les bondes des cieux s'ouvrirent.
In the sixe hundrid yeer of the lijf of Noe, in the secunde moneth, in the seuententhe dai of the moneth, alle the wellis of the greet see weren brokun, and the wyndowis of heuene weren opened,
12 Et la pluie tomba sur la terre quarante jours et quarante nuits.
and reyn was maad on erthe fourti daies and fourti nyytis.
13 En ce même jour-là, Noé, Sem, Cham et Japhet, fils de Noé, et la femme de Noé, et les trois femmes de ses fils avec eux, entrèrent dans l'arche,
In the ende of that dai Noe entride, and Sem, Cham, and Japheth, hise sones, his wijf, and the wyues of hise sones, entriden with hem into the schip.
14 Eux, et tous les animaux selon leur espèce, et tout le bétail selon son espèce, et tous les reptiles qui rampent sur la terre selon leur espèce, et tous les oiseaux selon leur espèce, tout petit oiseau, tout ce qui a des ailes;
Thei entriden, and ech beeste bi his kynde, and alle werk beestis in her kynde, and ech beeste which is moued on erthe in his kynde, and ech volatil bi his kynde; alle briddis and alle volatils entriden to Noe in to the schip,
15 Ils entrèrent donc vers Noé dans l'arche; deux par deux, de toute chair qui a souffle de vie.
bi tweyne and bi tweyne of ech fleisch in whiche the spirit of lijf was.
16 Et ceux qui vinrent, vinrent mâle et femelle de toute chair, comme Dieu le lui avait commandé; et l'Éternel ferma l'arche sur lui.
And tho that entriden, entriden male and female of ech fleisch, as God comaundide to hym. And the Lord encloside hym fro with out-forth.
17 Et le déluge fut quarante jours sur la terre; et les eaux crûrent, et soulevèrent l'arche, et elle s'éleva de dessus la terre.
And the greet flood was maad fourti daies and fourti niytis on erthe, and the watris weren multiplied, and reiseden the schip on hiy fro erthe.
18 Et les eaux grossirent et crûrent fort sur la terre; et l'arche flottait à la surface des eaux.
The watris flowiden greetli, and filliden alle thingis in the face of erthe. Forsothe the schip was borun on the watris.
19 Et les eaux grossirent prodigieusement sur la terre; et toutes les hautes montagnes qui sont sous tous les cieux, furent couvertes.
And the watris hadden maistrie greetli on erthe, and alle hiye hillis vndur alle heuene weren hilid;
20 Les eaux s'élevèrent de quinze coudées au-dessus; et les montagnes furent couvertes.
the watyr was hiyere bi fiftene cubitis ouer the hilis whiche it hilide.
21 Et toute chair qui se mouvait sur la terre, expira, tant des oiseaux que du bétail, des animaux et de tous les reptiles qui se traînent sur la terre, et tous les hommes.
And ech fleisch was wastid that was moued on erthe, of briddis, of lyuynge beestis, of vnresonable beestis, and of alle `reptilis that crepen on erthe.
22 Tout ce qui avait souffle de vie dans ses narines, et tout ce qui était sur la terre ferme, mourut.
Alle men, and alle thingis in whiche the brething of lijf was in erthe, weren deed.
23 Tous les êtres qui étaient sur la face de la terre furent exterminés, depuis les hommes jusqu'aux bêtes, jusqu'aux reptiles, et jusqu'aux oiseaux des cieux, et ils furent exterminés de dessus la terre. Il ne resta que Noé, et ce qui était avec lui dans l'arche.
And God dide awei al substaunce that was on erthe, fro man til to beeste, as wel a crepynge beeste as the briddis of heuene; and tho weren doon awei fro erthe. Forsothe Noe dwellide aloone, and thei that weren with hym in the schip.
24 Et les eaux furent grosses sur la terre pendant cent cinquante jours.
And the watris of the greet flood ouereyeden the erthe an hundrid and fifti daies.
