Exode 4
1 Et Moïse répondit, et dit: Mais voici, ils ne me croiront point, et ils n'obéiront point à ma voix; car ils diront: L'Éternel ne t'est point apparu.
And he answered Moses and he said and here! not they will believe me and not they will listen to voice my for they will say not he appeared to you Yahweh.
2 Et l'Éternel lui dit: Qu'as-tu à la main? Il répondit: Une verge.
And he said to him Yahweh (what [is] this? *Q(K)*) [is] in hand your and he said a staff.
3 Et il dit: Jette-la par terre; et il la jeta par terre, et elle devint un serpent; et Moïse s'enfuit devant lui.
And he said throw it [the] ground towards and he threw it [the] ground towards and it became a snake and he fled Moses from before it.
4 Alors l'Éternel dit à Moïse: Étends ta main et saisis-le par la queue. Il étendit la main, et le saisit, et il redevint une verge dans sa main.
And he said Yahweh to Moses stretch out hand your and hold on tail its and he stretched out hand his and he took hold on it and it became a staff in hand his.
5 C'est afin, dit l'Éternel, qu'ils croient que l'Éternel, le Dieu de leurs pères, le Dieu d'Abraham, le Dieu d'Isaac, et le Dieu de Jacob t'est apparu.
So that they may believe that he appeared to you Yahweh [the] God ancestors their [the] God of Abraham [the] God of Isaac and [the] God of Jacob.
6 L'Éternel lui dit encore: Mets ta main dans ton sein. Et il mit sa main dans son sein; puis il la retira, et, voici, sa main était blanche de lèpre comme la neige.
And he said Yahweh to him again put please hand your in bosom your and he put hand his in bosom his and he brought out it and there! hand his [was] leprous like snow.
7 Puis Dieu dit: Remets ta main dans ton sein. Et il remit sa main dans son sein; puis il la retira de son sein, et voici, elle était redevenue comme son autre chair.
And he said return hand your into bosom your and he returned hand his into bosom his and he brought out it from bosom his and there! it had turned back like flesh his.
8 Et il arrivera, s'ils ne te croient point, et n'obéissent point à la voix du premier signe, qu'ils croiront à la voix du signe suivant.
And it will be if not they will believe you and not they will listen to [the] voice of the sign former and they will believe [the] voice of the sign latter.
9 Et s'ils ne croient pas même à ces deux signes et n'obéissent pas à ta voix, tu prendras de l'eau du fleuve et la répandras sur la terre, et l'eau que tu auras prise du fleuve, deviendra du sang sur la terre.
And it will be if not they will believe also [the] two the signs these and not they will listen! to voice your and you will take some of [the] water of the River and you will pour [it] out the dry ground and they will become the waters which you will take from the River and they will become blood on the dry ground.
10 Et Moïse dit à l'Éternel: Ah! Seigneur, je ne suis point un homme qui ait la parole aisée, ni d'hier, ni d'avant-hier, ni depuis que tu parles à ton serviteur; car j'ai la bouche et la langue pesantes.
And he said Moses to Yahweh pardon me O Lord not [am] a man of words I neither from yesterday nor from three days ago nor from then speaking you to servant your for [am] heavy of mouth and heavy of tongue I.
11 Et l'Éternel lui dit: Qui a fait la bouche de l'homme? Ou qui rend muet, ou sourd, ou voyant, ou aveugle? N'est-ce pas moi, l'Éternel?
And he said Yahweh to him who? did he make a mouth of person or who? does he make dumb or deaf or seeing or blind ¿ not [do] I Yahweh.
12 Maintenant donc, va et je serai avec ta bouche, et je t'enseignerai ce que tu devras dire.
And therefore go and I I will be with mouth your and I will teach you [that] which you will say.
13 Et Moïse répondit: Ah! Seigneur, envoie qui tu voudras envoyer.
And he said pardon me O Lord send please by [the] hand of [whoever] you will send.
14 Et la colère de l'Éternel s'embrasa contre Moïse, et il dit: Aaron, le Lévite, n'est-il pas ton frère? Je sais qu'il parlera très bien. Et même, le voici qui sort à ta rencontre, et quand il te verra, il se réjouira dans son cœur.
And it burned [the] anger of Yahweh on Moses and he said ¿ not [is] Aaron brother your the Levite I know that well he speaks he and also there! he [is] coming out to meet you and he will see you and he will be glad in heart his.
15 Tu lui parleras donc, et tu mettras les paroles dans sa bouche; et je serai avec ta bouche et avec la sienne, et je vous enseignerai ce que vous devrez faire.
And you will speak to him and you will put the words in mouth his and I I will be with mouth your and with mouth his and I will teach you [that] which you will do!
16 C'est lui qui parlera pour toi au peuple; il sera ta bouche, et tu lui seras Dieu.
And he will speak he for you to the people and it will be he he will become of you a mouth and you you will become of him a god.
17 Et tu prendras dans ta main cette verge, par laquelle tu feras les signes.
And the staff this you will take in hand your which you will do with it the signs.
18 Alors Moïse s'en alla, et retourna vers Jéthro son beau-père, et lui dit: Que je m'en aille, je te prie, et que je retourne vers mes frères qui sont en Égypte, pour voir s'ils sont encore vivants. Et Jéthro dit à Moïse: Va en paix!
And he went Moses and he returned - to Jethro father-in-law his and he said to him let me go please so I may return to relatives my who [are] in Egypt so I may see ¿ [are] still they living and he said Jethro to Moses go to peace.
19 Or, l'Éternel dit à Moïse, en Madian: Va, retourne en Égypte; car tous ceux qui en voulaient à ta vie, sont morts.
And he said Yahweh to Moses in Midian go return Egypt for they have died all the men who sought life your.
20 Alors Moïse prit sa femme et ses fils, les fit monter sur un âne, et retourna au pays d'Égypte. Et Moïse prit la verge de Dieu dans sa main.
And he took Moses wife his and sons his and he made ride them on the donkey and he returned [the] land of towards Egypt and he took Moses [the] staff of God in hand his.
21 Et l'Éternel dit à Moïse: En t'en allant pour retourner en Égypte, considère tous les miracles que j'ai mis dans ta main, et tu les feras devant Pharaon; mais j'endurcirai son cœur, et il ne laissera point aller le peuple.
And he said Yahweh to Moses when going you to return Egypt towards see all the wonders which I have put in hand your and you will do them before Pharaoh and I I will make strong heart his and not he will let go the people.
22 Et tu diras à Pharaon: Ainsi a dit l'Éternel: Israël est mon fils, mon premier-né;
And you will say to Pharaoh thus he says Yahweh [is] son my firstborn my Israel.
23 Et je t'ai dit: Laisse aller mon fils, afin qu'il me serve; et tu as refusé de le laisser aller. Voici, je vais faire mourir ton fils, ton premier-né.
And I said to you let go son my so he may serve me and you refused to let go him here! I [am] about to kill son your firstborn your.
24 Or, il arriva qu'en chemin, dans l'hôtellerie, l'Éternel rencontra Moïse, et chercha à le faire mourir.
And it was on the journey at the lodging place and he met him Yahweh and he sought to kill him.
25 Et Séphora prit un couteau de pierre, et coupa le prépuce de son fils, et le jeta à ses pieds, et dit: Certes, tu m'es un époux de sang!
And she took Zipporah a flint and she cut off [the] foreskin of son her and she made [it] touch feet his and she said that [are] a bridegroom of blood you to me.
26 Et l'Éternel le laissa. Elle dit alors: Époux de sang! à cause de la circoncision.
And he withdrew from him then she said a bridegroom of blood to the circumcision.
27 Et l'Éternel dit à Aaron: Va au-devant de Moïse, au désert. Il alla donc et le rencontra à la montagne de Dieu, et il le baisa.
And he said Yahweh to Aaron go to meet Moses the wilderness towards and he went and he met him at [the] mountain of God and he kissed him.
28 Et Moïse rapporta à Aaron toutes les paroles avec lesquelles l'Éternel l'avait envoyé, et tous les prodiges qu'il lui avait commandé de faire.
And he told Moses to Aaron all [the] words of Yahweh which he had sent him and all the signs which he had commanded him.
29 Moïse s'en alla donc avec Aaron; et ils assemblèrent tous les anciens des enfants d'Israël.
And he went Moses and Aaron and they gathered all [the] elders of [the] people of Israel.
30 Et Aaron dit toutes les paroles que l'Éternel avait dites à Moïse, et il fit les prodiges aux yeux du peuple.
And he spoke Aaron all the words which he had spoken Yahweh to Moses and he did the signs to [the] eyes of the people.
31 Et le peuple crut; et ils apprirent que l'Éternel avait visité les enfants d'Israël, et qu'il avait vu leur affliction; et ils s'inclinèrent et adorèrent.
And it believed the people and they heard that he had observed Yahweh [the] people of Israel and that he had seen affliction their and they bowed low and they bowed down.
