1 Benjamin engendra Béla, son premier-né, Ashbel le second, Achrach le troisième,
Now Benjamin beget Bale his firstborn, Asbel the second, Ahara the third,
2 Nocha le quatrième, et Rapha le cinquième.

5 Guéra, Shéphuphan et Huram.
And Gera, and Sephuphan, and Huram.
6 Voici les enfants d'Échud; ils étaient chefs des maisons des pères des habitants de Guéba, et ils les transportèrent à Manachath:
These are the sons of Ahod, heads of families that dwelt in Gabaa, who were removed into Mrtnahsth.
7 Naaman, Achija et Guéra; c'est lui qui les transporta. Il engendra Uzza et Achichud.

10 Jéuts, Shocja et Mirma. Ce sont là ses fils, chefs des pères.
And Jehus and Sechia, and Marma. These were his sons heads of their families.
11 De Hushim il engendra Abitub, et Elpaal.
And Mehusim beget Abitob, and Elphaal.
12 Les fils d'Elpaal: Éber, Misheam, et Shémer, qui bâtit Ono, Lod et les villes de son ressort.

22 Jishpan, Éber, Éliel,
And Jespham, and Heber, and Eliel,
23 Abdon, Zicri, Hanan,
And Abdon, and Zechri, and Hanan,
24 Hanania, Élam, Anthothija,
And Hanania, and Elam, and Anathothia.
25 Jiphdéja et Pénuel, étaient fils de Shashak.
And Jephdaia, and Phanuel the sons of Sesac.
26 Shamshéraï, Shécharia, Athalia,
And Samsari, and Sohoria and Otholia,
27 Jaareshia, Élija et Zicri, étaient fils de Jérocham.
And Jersia, and Elia, and Zechri, the sons of Jeroham.
28 Ce sont là les chefs des maisons des pères, chefs selon leur naissance. Ils habitaient à Jérusalem.
These were the chief fathers, and heads of their families who dwelt in Jerusalem.
29 Le père de Gabaon habitait à Gabaon; sa femme s'appelait Maaca.
And at Gabaon dwelt Abigabaon, and the name of his wife was Maacha:
30 Son fils, le premier-né, fut Abdon; puis Tsur, Kis, Baal, Nadab,
And his firstborn son Abdon, and Sur, and Cia, and Baal, and Nadab,
31 Guédor, Achio et Zéker.
And Gedor, and Ahio, and Zacher, and Macelloth:
32 Mikloth engendra Shiméa. Ils habitèrent aussi près de leurs frères à Jérusalem, avec leurs frères.
And Macelloth beget Samaa: and they dwelt over against their brethren in Jerusalem with their brethren.
33 Ner engendra Kis; Kis engendra Saül; Saül engendra Jonathan, Malkishua, Abinadab et Eshbaal.
And Ner beget Cia, and Cia beget Saul. And Saul begot Jonathan and Melchisua, and Abinadab, and Esbaal.
34 Fils de Jonathan: Mérib-Baal. Mérib-Baal engendra Mica.
And the son of Jonathan was Meribbaal: and Meribbaal begot Micha.
35 Fils de Mica: Pithon, Mélec, Thaeréa et Achaz.
And the sons of Micha were Phithon, and Melech, and Tharaa, and Ahaz.
36 Achaz engendra Jéhoadda; Jéhoadda engendra Alémeth, Azmaveth et Zimri; Zimri engendra Motsa;
And Ahaz beget Joada: and Joada beget Alamath, and Azmoth, and Zamri: and Zamri beget Mesa,
37 Motsa engendra Binea, qui eut pour fils Rapha, qui eut pour fils Éleasa, qui eut pour fils Atsel.
And Mesa beget Banaa, whose son was Rapha, of whom was born Elasa, who beget Asel.
38 Atsel eut six fils, dont voici les noms: Azrikam, Bocru, Ismaël, Shéaria, Obadia et Hanan. Tous ceux-là étaient fils d'Atsel.
And Asel had six sons whose names were Ezricam, Bochru, Ismahel, Saria, Obdia, and Hanan. All these were the sons of Asel.
39 Fils d'Eshek, son frère: Ulam, son premier-né, Jéush le second, et Éliphélet le troisième.
And the sons of Esec, his brother, were Ulam the firstborn, and Jehus the second, and Eliphelet the third.
40 Les fils d'Ulam furent de vaillants guerriers, tirant de l'arc; et ils eurent beaucoup de fils et de petits-fils, cent cinquante. Tous ceux-là sont des enfants de Benjamin.
And the sons of Ulam were most valiant men, and archers of great strength: and they had many sons and grandsons, even to a hundred and fifty. All these were children of Benjamin.
