Romains 16
1 Je vous recommande notre sœur Phœbé, qui est Diaconesse de l'Eglise de Cenchrée:
I recommend to you Phebe, our sister, who is a deaconess of the congregation at Cenchrea,
2 Afin que vous la receviez selon le Seigneur, comme il faut recevoir les Saints; et que vous l'assistiez en tout ce dont elle aura besoin; car elle a exercé l'hospitalité à l'égard de plusieurs, et même à mon égard.
that you may receive her in the Lord, as becomes saints, and assist her, in whatever business she may have need of you: for, indeed, she has been a helper of many, and especially of me.
3 Saluez Priscille et Aquilas mes Compagnons d'œuvre en Jésus-Christ.
Salute Priscilla and Aquila, my fellow-laborers in Christ Jesus.
4 Qui ont soumis leur cou pour ma vie, [et] auxquels je ne rends pas grâces moi seul, mais aussi toutes les Eglises des Gentils.
These persons, for my life, laid down their own neck; to whom not only I give thanks, but even all the congregations of the Gentiles.
5 [Saluez] aussi l'Eglise qui [est] dans leur maison. Saluez Epainète mon bien-aimé, qui est les prémices d'Achaïe en Christ.
Likewise, salute the congregation which is in their house. Salute Epenetus, my beloved, who is the first fruit of Asia to Christ.
6 Saluez Marie, qui a fort travaillé pour nous.
Salute Mary, who labored much for us.
7 Saluez Andronique et Junias mes cousins, qui ont été prisonniers avec moi, et qui sont distingués entre les Apôtres, et qui même ont été avant moi en Christ.
Salute Andronicus, and Junias, my kinsmen, and my fellow-prisoners, who are of note among the Apostles, and who were in Christ before me.
8 Saluez Amplias mon bien-aimé au Seigneur.
Salute Amplias, my beloved in the Lord.
9 Saluez Urbain notre Compagnon d'œuvre en Christ, et Stachys mon bien aimé.
Salute Urbanas, our fellow-laborer in Christ, and Stachys, my beloved.
10 Saluez Apelles approuvé en Christ. Saluez ceux de chez Aristobule.
Salute Appelles, the approved in Christ. Salute those who are of the family of Aristobulus.
11 Saluez Hérodion mon cousin. Saluez ceux de chez Narcisse qui sont en [notre] Seigneur.
Salute Herodion, my kinsman. Salute those of the family of Narcissus, who are in the Lord.
12 Saluez Tryphène et Thryphose, lesquelles travaillent en [notre] Seigneur. Saluez Perside la bien-aimée, qui a beaucoup travaillé en notre Seigneur.
Salute Tryphena and Tryphosa, who labor in the Lord. Salute the beloved Persis, who labored much in the Lord.
13 Saluez Rufus élu au Seigneur, et sa mère, [que je regarde comme] la mienne.
Salute Rufus, the chosen in the Lord, and her who is the mother both of him and of me.
14 Saluez Asyncrite, Phlégon, Hermas, Patrobas, Hermès, et les frères qui sont avec eux.
Salute Asyncritus, Phlegon, Hermas, Patrobas, Hermes, and the brethren with them.
15 Saluez Philologue, et Julie, Nérée, et sa sœur, et Olympe, et tous les Saints qui sont avec eux.
Salute Philologus, and Julia, Nereus, and his sister, and Olympas, and all the saints who are with them.
16 Saluez-vous l'un l'autre par un saint baiser. Les Eglises de Christ vous saluent.
Salute one another with a holy kiss. The congregations of Christ salute you.
17 Or je vous exhorte, mes frères, de prendre garde à ceux qui causent des divisions et des scandales contre la doctrine que vous avez apprise, et de vous éloigner d'eux.
Now, I beseech you, brethren, mark them who make separations and occasions of falling, contrary to the doctrine which you have learned; and avoid them.
18 Car ces sortes de gens ne servent point notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ, mais leur propre ventre, et par de douces paroles et des flatteries ils séduisent les cœurs des simples.
For they who are such, do not serve out Lord Jesus, but their own belly; and by flattery and fair speeches, deceive the hearts of the simple.
19 Car votre obéissance est venue à la connaissance de tous. Je me réjouis donc de vous; mais je désire que vous soyez prudents quant au bien, et simples quant au mal.
Now your obedience is reported to all men. I therefore rejoice on your account; nevertheless, I wish you, indeed, to be wise with respect to good; and simple with respect to evil.
20 Or le Dieu de paix brisera bientôt satan sous vos pieds. La grâce de notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ [soit] avec vous, Amen!
May the God of peace bruise Satan under your feet soon! The favor of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
21 Timothée mon Compagnon d'œuvre vous salue, comme aussi Lucius, et Jason, et Sosipater mes cousins.
Timothy, my fellow-laborer, and Lucius, and Jason, and Sosipater, my kinsmen, salute you.
22 Moi Tertius qui ai écrit cette Epître, je vous salue en [notre] Seigneur.
I, Tertius, who wrote this letter, salute you in the Lord.
23 Gaïus mon hôte, et celui de toute l'Eglise, vous salue. Eraste le Procureur de la ville, vous salue, et Quartus [notre] frère.
Gaius, my host, and of the whole congregation, salutes you. Erastus, the chamberlain of the city, salutes you, and Quartus, your brother.
24 La grâce de notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ [soit] avec vous tous, Amen!
The favor of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all! Amen.
25 Or à celui qui est puissant pour vous affermir selon mon Evangile, et [selon] la prédication de Jésus-Christ, conformément à la révélation du mystère qui a été tû dans les temps passés, (aiōnios g166)
Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel, and the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the secret, concealed in the times of the ages, (aiōnios g166)
26 Mais qui est maintenant manifesté par les Ecritures des Prophètes, suivant le commandement du Dieu éternel, et qui est annoncé parmi tous les peuples pour les amener à la foi. (aiōnios g166)
(but is now made manifest by the prophetic writings, and by the commandment of the eternal God is made known to all the Gentiles, in order to the obedience of faith: ) (aiōnios g166)
