Apocalypse 4

1 Après ces choses je regardai, et voici une porte fut ouverte au Ciel; et la première voix que j'avais ouïe comme d'une trompette, et qui parlait avec moi, [me] dit: monte ici, et je te montrerai les choses qui doivent arriver à l'avenir.

After these things I saw, and behold, a door was opened in the heaven: and the first voice I heard was as of a trumpet speaking with me; saying; Come up hither, and I will show thee the things which it behooves to come to pass after these.

2 Et sur-le-champ je fus ravi en esprit: et voici, un trône était posé au Ciel, et quelqu'un était assis sur le trône.

Immediately I was in the Spirit: and behold, a throne was set in the heaven, and on the throne one sitting,

3 Et celui qui y était assis, paraissait semblable à une pierre de jaspe, et de sardoine; et autour du trône paraissait un arc-en-ciel, semblable à une émeraude.

and the one sitting was in appearance like unto a jasper and a sardius stone: and a rainbow was around about the throne, in appearance like unto an emerald.

4 Et il y avait autour du trône vingt-quatre sièges; et je vis sur les sièges vingt-quatre Anciens assis, vêtus d'habillements blancs, et ayant sur leurs têtes des couronnes d'or.

And around about the throne were twenty-four thrones: and on the thrones twenty-four elders are sitting, clothed in white garments; and upon their heads golden crowns.

5 Et du trône sortaient des éclairs et des tonnerres, et des voix; et il y avait devant le trône sept lampes de feu ardentes, qui sont les sept Esprits de Dieu.

And from the throne lightnings and voices and thunders are going out; and seven lamps of fire are burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God:

6 Et au devant du trône il y avait une mer de verre, semblable à du cristal; et au milieu du trône et autour du trône quatre animaux, pleins d'yeux devant et derrière.

and before the throne a glassy sea like crystal; and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, are four living creatures filled with eyes in front and in the rear.

7 Et le premier animal [était] semblable à un lion; le second animal, [était] semblable à un veau; le troisième animal avait la face comme un homme; et le quatrième animal était semblable à un aigle qui vole.

And the first living creature was like unto a lion, and the second living creature was like unto a bullock, and the third living creature having the face as of a man, and the fourth living creature was like unto a flying eagle.

8 Et les quatre animaux avaient chacun six ailes à l'entour; et par dedans ils [étaient] pleins d'yeux; et ils ne cessent point de dire jour et nuit: Saint! Saint! Saint! le Seigneur Dieu Tout-puissant, QUI ÉTAIT, QUI EST, et QUI EST A VENIR.

And the four living creatures having six wings, one opposite one of them; filled with eyes without and within; and they cease not day and night, saying; Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Omnipotent, who was, and who is, and who is the one coming.

9 Or quand les animaux rendaient gloire et honneur et des actions de grâces à celui qui était assis sur le trône, à celui qui est vivant aux siècles des siècles, (aiōn g165)

And when the living creatures shall give glory and honor and thanksgiving to the one sitting upon the throne, who lives unto the ages of the ages, (aiōn g165)

10 Les vingt-quatre Anciens se prosternaient devant celui qui était assis sur le trône, et adoraient celui qui est vivant aux siècles des siècles, et ils jetaient leurs couronnes devant le trône, en disant: (aiōn g165)

the twenty-four elders will fall down before the one sitting upon the throne, and will worship Him who lives unto the ages of the ages, and will cast their crowns before the throne, (aiōn g165)

11 Seigneur, tu es digne de recevoir gloire, honneur et puissance; car tu as créé toutes choses; c'est par ta volonté qu'elles existent et qu'elles ont été créées.

saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord truly our God, to receive glory and honor and power: because thou hast created all things, and through thy will they were, and were created.
