Psaumes 28
1 Psaume de David. Je crie à toi, ô Eternel! mon rocher, ne te rends point sourd envers moi, de peur que si tu ne me réponds, je ne sois fait semblable à ceux qui descendent en la fosse.
A Psalm of David. Unto thee, O LORD, do I call; my Rock, be not Thou deaf unto me; lest, if Thou be silent unto me, I become like them that go down into the pit.
2 Exauce la voix de mes supplications, lorsque je crie à toi, quand j'élève mes mains vers l'Oracle de ta Sainteté.
Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto Thee, when I lift up my hands toward Thy holy Sanctuary.
3 Ne me traîne point avec les méchants, ni avec les ouvriers d'iniquité, qui parlent de paix avec leurs prochains, pendant que la malice est dans leur cœur.
Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity; who speak peace with their neighbours, but evil is in their hearts.
4 Traite-les selon leurs œuvres, et selon la malice de leurs actions: traite-les selon l'ouvrage de leurs mains; rends-leur ce qu'ils ont mérité.
Give them according to their deeds, and according to the evil of their endeavours; give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert.
5 Parce qu'ils ne prennent point garde aux œuvres de l'Eternel, à l'œuvre, dis-je, de ses mains; il les ruinera, et ne les édifiera point.
Because they give no heed to the works of the LORD, nor to the operation of His hands; He will break them down and not build them up.
6 Béni soit l'Eternel; car il a exaucé la voix de mes supplications.
Blessed be the LORD, because He hath heard the voice of my supplications.
7 L'Eternel est ma force et mon bouclier; mon cœur a eu sa confiance en lui; j'ai été secouru, et mon cœur s'est réjoui; c'est pourquoi je le célébrerai par mon Cantique.
The LORD is my strength and my shield, in Him hath my heart trusted, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth, and with my song will I praise Him.
8 L'Eternel est leur force, et il est la force des délivrances de son Oint.
The LORD is a strength unto them; and He is a stronghold of salvation to His anointed.
9 Délivre ton peuple, et bénis ton héritage, nourris-les, et les élève éternellement.
Save Thy people, and bless Thine inheritance; and tend them, and carry them for ever.
