Psaumes 146

1 Louez l'Eternel. Mon âme, loue l'Eternel.

Praise ye Yah, Praise, O my soul, Yahweh.

2 Je louerai l'Eternel durant ma vie, je psalmodierai à mon Dieu tant que je vivrai.

I will praise Yahweh while I live! I will make melody to my God while I continue!

3 Ne vous assurez point sur les principaux [d'entre les peuples, ni] sur [aucun] fils d'homme, à qui [il n'appartient] point de délivrer.

Do not ye trust in nobles, in a son of man who hath no deliverance:

4 Son esprit sort, [et l'homme] retourne en sa terre, [et] en ce jour-là ses desseins périssent.

His spirit, goeth forth, he returneth to his ground, In that very day, his thoughts perish.

5 Ô que bienheureux est celui à qui le [Dieu] Fort de Jacob est en aide, [et] dont l'attente est en l'Eternel son Dieu;

How happy is he that hath the GOD of Jacob as his help, whose hope, is on Yahweh his God: —

6 Qui a fait les cieux et la terre, la mer, et tout ce qui y est, [et] qui garde la vérité à toujours!

Who made The heavens and the earth, The sea and all that is therein, Who keepeth faithfulness to times age-abiding:

7 Qui fait droit à ceux à qui on fait tort; et qui donne du pain à ceux qui ont faim. L'Eternel délie ceux qui sont liés.

Who executeth justice for the oppressed, who giveth food to the famishing, Yahweh, who liberateth prisoners;

8 L'Eternel ouvre [les yeux] aux aveugles; l'Eternel redresse ceux qui sont courbés; l'Eternel aime les justes.

Yahweh, who opened [the eyes of] the blind, Yahweh, who raiseth the prostrate, Yahweh, who loveth the righteous;

9 L'Eternel garde les étrangers, il maintient l'orphelin et la veuve, et renverse le train des méchants.

Yahweh, who preserveth sojourners, The fatherless and widows, he relieveth, —but, the way of the lawless, he overturneth.

10 L'Eternel régnera à toujours. Ô Sion! ton Dieu est d'âge en âge. Louez l'Eternel.

Yahweh, will reign, to times age-abiding, Thy God, O Zion, to generation after generation. Praise ye Yah!
