Psaumes 135
1 Louez le Nom de l’Eternel; vous serviteurs de l'Eternel, louez-le.
Alleluya. Herie ye the name of the Lord; ye seruauntis of the Lord, herie ye.
2 Vous qui assistez en la maison de l'Eternel, aux parvis de la maison de notre Dieu,
Ye that stonden in the hous of the Lord; in the hallis of `the hous of oure God.
3 Louez l'Eternel, car l'Eternel est bon; psalmodiez à son Nom, car il est agréable.
Herie ye the Lord, for the Lord is good; singe ye to his name, for it is swete.
4 Car l'Eternel s'est choisi Jacob, et Israël pour son plus précieux joyau.
For the Lord chees Jacob to him silf; Israel in to possessioun to him silf.
5 Certainement je sais que l'Eternel est grand, et que notre Seigneur [est] au-dessus de tous les dieux.
For Y haue knowe, that the Lord is greet; and oure God bifore alle goddis.
6 L'Eternel fait tout ce qu'il lui plaît, dans les cieux et sur la terre, dans la mer, et dans tous les abîmes.
The Lord made alle thingis, what euere thingis he wolde, in heuene and in erthe; in the see, and in alle depthis of watris.
7 C'est lui qui fait monter les vapeurs du bout de la terre; il fait les éclairs pour la pluie; il tire le vent hors de ses trésors.
He ledde out cloudis fro the ferthest part of erthe; and made leitis in to reyn. Which bringith forth wyndis fro hise tresours;
8 C'est lui qui a frappé les premiers-nés d'Egypte, tant des hommes que des bêtes;
which killide the firste gendrid thingis of Egipt, fro man `til to beeste.
9 Qui a envoyé des prodiges et des miracles au milieu de toi, ô Egypte! contre Pharaon, et contre tous ses serviteurs;
He sente out signes and grete wondris, in the myddil of thee, thou Egipt; in to Farao and in to alle hise seruauntis.
10 Qui a frappé plusieurs nations, et tué les puissants Rois;
Which smoot many folkis; and killide stronge kingis.
11 [Savoir], Sihon le roi des Amorrhéens, et Hog le roi de Hasan, et ceux de tous les Royaumes de Canaan;
Seon, the king of Ammorreis, and Og, the king of Basan; and alle the rewmes of Chanaan.
12 Et qui a donné leur pays en héritage, en héritage, [dis-je], à Israël son peuple.
And he yaf the lond of hem eritage; eritage to Israel, his puple.
13 Eternel, ta renommée est perpétuelle; Eternel, la mémoire qu'on a de toi est d'âge en âge.
Lord, thi name is with outen ende; Lord, thi memorial be in generacioun and in to generacioun.
14 Car l'Eternel jugera son peuple, et se repentira à l'égard de ses serviteurs.
For the Lord schal deme his puple; and he schal be preied in hise seruauntis.
15 Les dieux des nations ne sont que de l'or et de l'argent, un ouvrage de mains d'homme.
The symulacris of hethene men ben siluer and gold; the werkis of the hondis of men.
16 Ils ont une bouche, et ne parlent point; ils ont des yeux, et ne voient point;
Tho han a mouth, and schulen not speke; tho han iyen, and schulen not se.
17 Ils ont des oreilles, et n'entendent point; il n'y a point aussi de souffle dans leur bouche.
Tho han eeris, and schulen not here; for `nether spirit is in the mouth of tho.
18 Que ceux qui les font, [et] tous ceux qui s'y confient, leur soient faits semblables.
Thei that maken tho, be maad lijk tho; and alle that tristen in tho.
19 Maison d'Israël, bénissez l'Eternel; maison d'Aaron, bénissez l'Eternel.
The hous of Israel, blesse ye the Lord; the hous of Aaron, blesse ye the Lord.
20 Maison des Lévites, bénissez l'Eternel; vous qui craignez l'Eternel, bénissez l'Eternel.
The hous of Leuy, blesse ye the Lord; ye that dreden the Lord, `blesse ye the Lord.
21 Béni soit de Sion l'Eternel qui habite dans Jérusalem. Louez l'Eternel.
Blessid be the Lord of Syon; that dwellith in Jerusalem.
