Psaumes 131

1 Cantique de Mahaloth, de David. Ô Éternel! mon cœur ne s'est point élevé, et mes yeux ne se sont point haussés, et je n'ai point marché en des choses grandes et merveilleuses au-dessus de ma portée.

A Song of the Ascents, by David. Jehovah, my heart hath not been haughty, Nor have mine eyes been high, Nor have I walked in great things, And in things too wonderful for me.

2 N'ai-je point soumis et fait taire mon cœur, comme celui qui est sevré fait envers sa mère; mon cœur est en moi, comme celui qui est sevré.

Have I not compared, and kept silent my soul, As a weaned one by its mother? As a weaned one by me [is] my soul.

3 Israël attends-toi à l'Eternel dès maintenant et à toujours.

Israel doth wait on Jehovah, From henceforth, and unto the age!
