Proverbes 28
1 Tout méchant fuit sans qu'on le poursuive; mais les justes seront assurés comme un jeune lion.
They flee and there not [is one who] pursues [the] wicked and righteous [people] like a young lion he is confident.
2 Il y a plusieurs gouverneurs, à cause des forfaits du pays, mais pour l'amour de l'homme avisé et intelligent, il y aura prolongation du même [Gouvernement.]
By [the] transgression of a land [are] many princes its and by a person understanding knowing thus it will last long.
3 L'homme qui est pauvre, et qui opprime les chétifs, est [comme] une pluie, qui faisant du ravage [cause] la disette du pain.
A man poor and [who] oppresses poor [people] rain [which] washes away and there not [is] food.
4 Ceux qui abandonnent la Loi, louent le méchant; mais ceux qui gardent la Loi, leur font la guerre.
[those who] forsake [the] law They praise [the] wicked and [those who] keep [the] law they engage in strife with them.
5 Les gens adonnés au mal n'entendent point ce qui est droit; mais ceux qui cherchent l'Eternel entendent tout.
People of evil not they understand justice and [those who] seek Yahweh they understand everything.
6 Le pauvre qui marche en son intégrité, vaut mieux que le pervers [qui marche] par [deux] chemins, encore qu'il soit riche.
[is] good A poor [person] [who] walks in integrity his more than [the] [person] perverse of two ways and he [is] rich.
7 Celui qui garde la Loi est un enfant prudent, mais celui qui entretient les gourmands, fait honte à son père.
[one who] keeps [the] law [is] a son Understanding and [one who] associates with gluttons he shames father his.
8 Celui qui augmente son bien par usure et par surcroît, l'assemble pour celui qui en fera des libéralités aux pauvres.
[one who] increases Wealth his by interest (and usury *Q(K)*) for [one who] shows favor to poor [people] he gathers it.
9 Celui qui détourne son oreille pour ne point écouter la Loi, sa requête elle-même sera une abomination.
[one who] turns aside Ear his from hearing [the] law also prayer his [is] an abomination.
10 Celui qui fait égarer par un mauvais chemin ceux qui vont droit, tombera dans la fosse qu'il aura faite; mais ceux qui sont intègres hériteront le bien.
[one who] leads astray Upright [people] - in a way evil in own pit his he he will fall and blameless [people] they will inherit good.
11 L'homme riche pense être sage; mais le chétif qui est intelligent, le sondera.
[is] wise In own eyes his a person rich and a poor [person] understanding he examines thoroughly him.
12 Quand les justes se réjouissent, la gloire est grande, mais quand les méchants sont élevés, chacun se déguise.
When rejoice righteous [people] great glory and when arise wicked [people] he is searched for everyone.
13 Celui qui cache ses transgressions, ne prospérera point; mais celui qui les confesse, et les délaisse, obtiendra miséricorde.
[one who] conceals Transgressions his not he will prosper and [one who] confesses and [one who] forsakes [them] he will be shown mercy.
14 Bienheureux est l'homme qui se donne frayeur continuellement; mais celui qui endurcit son cœur, tombera dans la calamité.
How blessed! [is] a person [who] fears continually and [one who] hardens heart his he will fall in calamity.
15 Le dominateur méchant sur un peuple pauvre, est un lion rugissant, et comme un ours quêtant sa proie.
A lion roaring and a bear rushing a ruler wicked over a people poor.
16 Le Conducteur qui manque d'intelligence, fait beaucoup d'extorsions; [mais] celui qui hait le gain déshonnête, prolongera ses jours.
A ruler lacking of understanding and great of extortion ([one who] hates *Q(K)*) unjust gain he will prolong days.
17 L'homme qui fait tort au sang d'une personne, fuira jusqu'en la fosse, sans qu'aucun le retienne.
A person oppressed by [the] blood of a life to [the] pit he will flee may not people support him.
18 Celui qui marche dans l'intégrité sera sauvé; mais le pervers qui marche par [deux] chemins, tombera tout à coup.
[one who] walks Blameless he will be delivered and [one who] is crooked of two ways he will fall at one.
19 Celui qui laboure sa terre, sera rassasié de pain; mais celui qui suit les fainéants, sera accablé de misère.
[one who] tills Land his he will be satisfied food and [one who] pursues empty [things] he will be satisfied poverty.
20 L'homme fidèle abondera en bénédictions, mais celui qui se hâte de s'enrichir ne demeurera point impuni.
A person of faithfulness [will be] great of blessings and [one who] hastens to gain riches not he will go unpunished.
21 Il n'est pas bon d'avoir égard à l'apparence des personnes; car pour un morceau de pain, l'homme commettrait un crime.
To pay regard to face not [is] good and on a piece of bread he will transgress a man.
22 L'homme qui a l'œil malin se hâte pour avoir des richesses, et il ne sait pas que la disette lui arrivera.
[is] hastening To wealth a person evil of eye and not he knows that poverty it will come to him.
23 Celui qui reprend quelqu'un, sera à la fin plus chéri que celui qui flatte de sa langue.
[one who] reproves A person after me favor he will find more than [one who] makes smooth [the] tongue.
24 Celui qui pille son père ou sa mère, et qui dit que ce n'est point un péché, est compagnon de l'homme dissipateur.
[one who] robs - Father his and mother his and [one who] says there not [is] a transgression [is] a companion he of a person of destruction.
25 Celui qui a le cœur enflé excite la querelle; mais celui qui s'assure sur l'Eternel, sera engraissé.
A [person] arrogant of self he stirs up strife and [one who] relies on Yahweh he will be made fat.
26 Celui qui se confie en son propre cœur, est un fou; mais celui qui marche sagement, sera délivré.
[one who] trusts In own heart his he [is] a fool and [one who] walks in wisdom he he will be delivered.
27 Celui qui donne au pauvre, n'aura point de disette; mais celui qui en détourne ses yeux, abondera en malédictions.
[one who] gives To the poor there not [is] lack and [one who] hides eyes his great of curses.
28 Quand les méchants s'élèvent, l'homme se cache; mais quand ils périssent, les justes se multiplient.
When arise wicked [people] he hides himself everyone and when perish they they increase righteous [people].
