1 L'Eternel avait aussi parlé à Moïse dans le désert de Sinaï, le premier mois de la seconde année, après qu'ils furent sortis du pays d'Egypte, en disant:
And the Lord spak to Moises, in the deseert of Synay, in the secounde yeer aftir that thei yeden out of the lond of Egipt, in the firste moneth,
2 Que les enfants d'Israël fassent la Pâque en sa saison.
and seide, The sones of Israel make pask in his tyme,
3 Vous la ferez en sa saison, le quatorzième jour de ce mois entre les deux vêpres, selon toutes ses ordonnances, et selon tout ce qu'il y faut faire.
in the fourtenthe day of this monethe, at the euentid, bi alle the cerymonyes and iustifiyngis therof.
4 Moïse donc parla aux enfants d'Israël, afin qu'ils fissent la Pâque.
And Moises comaundide to the sones of Israel, that thei schulden make pask;
5 Et ils firent la Pâque au premier mois, le quatorzième jour du mois, entre les deux vêpres, au désert de Sinaï; selon tout ce que l'Eternel avait commandé à Moïse, les enfants d'Israël [le] firent ainsi.
whiche maden in his tyme, in the fourtenthe dai of the monethe, at euentid, in the hil of Synai; bi alle thingis whiche the Lord comaundide to Moises, the sones of Israel diden.
6 Or il y en eut quelques-uns qui étant souillés pour un mort ne purent point faire la Pâque ce jour-là, et ils se présentèrent ce même jour devant Moïse et devant Aaron.
Lo! forsothe summen vncleene on the soule of man, that myyten not make pask in that dai, neiyiden to Moises and Aaron,
7 Et ces hommes-là leur dirent: Nous sommes souillés pour un mort, pourquoi serions-nous privés d'offrir l'offrande à l'Eternel en sa saison parmi les enfants d'Israël?
and seiden to hem, We ben vncleene `on the soule of man; whi ben we defraudid, that we moun not offre an offryng to the Lord in his tyme, among the sones of Israel?
8 Et Moïse leur dit: Arrêtez-vous, et j'entendrai ce que l'Eternel commandera sur votre sujet.
To whiche Moises answeride, Stonde ye, that Y take counseil, what the Lord comaundith of you.
9 Alors l'Eternel parla à Moïse, en disant:
And the Lord spak to Moises, and seide,
10 Parle aux enfants d'Israël, et leur dis: Quand quelqu'un d'entre vous, ou de votre postérité, sera souillé pour un mort, ou qu'il sera en voyage dans un lieu éloigné, il fera cependant la Pâque à l'Eternel.
Speke thou to the sones of Israel, A man of youre folk which is vncleene `on the soule, ether in the weie fer, make he pask to the Lord in the secounde monethe,
11 Ils la feront le quatorzième jour du second mois entre les deux vêpres; et ils la mangeront avec du pain sans levain, et des herbes amères.
in the fourtenthe dai of the monethe, at euentid; with therf looues and letusis of the feeld he schal ete it.
12 Ils n'en laisseront rien jusqu'au matin, et n'en casseront point les os; ils la feront selon toute l'ordonnance de la Pâque.
Thei schulen not leeue ony thing therof til the morewtid, and thei schulen not breke a boon therof; thei schulen kepe al the custom of pask.
13 Mais si quelqu'un étant net, ou n'étant point en voyage, s'abstient de faire la Pâque, cette personne-là sera retranchée d'entre ses peuples; cet homme-là portera son péché, parce qu'il n'aura point offert l'offrande de l'Eternel en sa saison.
Forsothe if ony man is bothe cleene, and is not in the weie, and netheles made not pask, thilke man schal be distried fro hise puplis, for he offeride not sacrifice to the Lord in his tyme; he schal bere his synne.
14 Et quand quelque étranger qui habitera parmi vous fera la Pâque à l'Eternel, il la fera selon l'ordonnance de la Pâque, et selon qu'il la faut faire. II y aura une même ordonnance entre vous, pour l'étranger et pour celui qui est né au pays.
Also if a pilgrym and comelyng is anentis you, make he pask to the Lord, bi the cerymonyes and iustifiyngis therof; the same comaundement schal be anentis you, as wel to a comelyng as to a man borun in the loond.
15 Or le jour que le pavillon fut dressé la nuée couvrit le pavillon sur le Tabernacle du Témoignage; et le soir elle parut comme un feu sur le Tabernacle, jusques au matin.
Therfore in the dai in which the tabernacle was reisid, a cloude hilide it; sotheli as the licnesse of fier was on the tente fro euentid til the morewtid.
16 Il en fut ainsi continuellement; la nuée le couvrait, mais elle paraissait la nuit comme du feu.
Thus it was don continueli, a cloude hilide it bi dai, and as the licnesse of fier bi nyyt.
17 Et selon que la nuée se levait de dessus le Tabernacle les enfants d'Israël partaient; et au lieu où la nuée s'arrêtait, les enfants d'Israël y campaient.
And whanne the cloude that hilide the tabernacle was takun awei, thanne the sones of Israel yeden forth, and in the place where the cloude stood, there thei settiden tentis.
18 Les enfants d'Israël marchaient au commandement de l'Eternel, et ils campaient au commandement de l'Eternel; pendant tous les jours que la nuée se tenait sur le pavillon ils demeuraient campés.
At the comaundement of the Lord thei yeden forth, and at his comaundement thei settiden the tabernacle. In alle daies in whiche the cloude stood on the tabernacle, thei dwelliden in the same place.
19 Et quand la nuée continuait à [s'arrêter] plusieurs jours sur le pavillon, les enfants d'Israël prenaient garde à l'Eternel, et ne partaient point.
And if it bifelde that it dwellide in myche tyme on the tabernacle, the sones of Israel weren in the watchis of the Lord, and thei yeden not forth,
20 Et pour peu de jours que la nuée fût sur le pavillon, ils campaient au commandement de l'Eternel, et ils partaient au commandement de l'Eternel.
in hou many euer daies the cloude was on the tabernacle. At the comaundement of the Lord thei reisiden tentis, and at his comaundement thei diden doun.
21 Et quand la nuée y était depuis le soir jusqu'au matin, et que la nuée se levait au matin, ils partaient; fût-ce de jour ou de nuit, quand la nuée se levait, ils partaient.
If the cloude was fro euentid `til to the morewtid, and anoon in the morewtid hadde left, thei yeden forth; and if aftir a dai and nyyt it hadde go awei, thei scateriden, `ether diden doun, tentis.
22 Que si la nuée continuait de [s'arrêter] sur le pavillon, [et] y demeurait pendant deux jours, ou un mois, ou plus longtemps, les enfants d'Israël demeuraient campés, et ne partaient point; mais quand elle se levait, ils partaient.
Whether in two monethis, ether in o monethe, ether in lengere tyme, `the cloude hadde be on the tabernacle, the sones of Israel dwelliden in the same place, and yeden not forth; but anoon as it hadde go awey, thei moueden tentis.
23 Ils campaient [donc] au commandement de l'Eternel, et ils partaient au commandement de l'Eternel; [et] ils prenaient garde à l'Eternel, suivant le commandement de l'Eternel, qu'il leur faisait savoir par Moïse.
Bi the word of the Lord thei settiden tentis, and bi his word thei wenten forth; and thei weren in the watchis of the Lord, bi his comaundement, bi the hond of Moyses.
