1 Alors l'Eternel dit à Aaron: Toi, et tes fils, et la maison de ton père avec toi, vous porterez l'iniquité du Sanctuaire; et toi et tes fils avec toi, vous porterez l'iniquité de votre Sacrificature.
And the Lord sayd vnto Aaron, Thou, and thy sonnes and thy fathers house with thee, shall beare the iniquitie of the Sanctuarie: both thou and thy sonnes with thee shall beare the iniquitie of your Priestes office.
2 Fais aussi approcher de toi tes frères, la Tribu de Lévi, qui est la Tribu de ton père, afin qu'ils te soient adjoints et qu'ils te servent, mais toi et tes fils avec toi, vous servirez devant le Tabernacle du Témoignage.
And bring also with thee thy brethren of the tribe of Leui of ye familie of thy father, which shalbe ioyned with thee, and minister vnto thee: but thou, and thy sonnes with thee shall minister before the Tabernacle of the Testimonie:
3 Ils garderont ce que tu leur ordonneras de garder, et ce qu'il faut garder de tout le Tabernacle, mais ils n'approcheront point des vaisseaux du Sanctuaire, ni de l'autel, de peur qu'ils ne meurent, et que vous ne mouriez avec eux.
And they shall keepe thy charge, euen the charge of all the Tabernacle: but they shall not come neere the instruments of the Sanctuary, nor to the altar, lest they die, both they and you:
4 Ils te seront donc adjoints, et ils garderont tout ce qu'il faut garder au Tabernacle d'assignation, selon tout le service du Tabernacle; et nul étranger n'approchera de vous.
And they shalbe ioyned with thee, and keepe the charge of the Tabernacle of the Congregation for all the seruice of the Tabernacle: and no stranger shall come neere vnto you:
5 Mais vous prendrez garde à ce qu'il faut faire dans le Sanctuaire, et à ce qu'il faut faire à l'autel, afin qu'il n'y ait plus d'indignation sur les enfants d'Israël.
Therefore shall ye keepe the charge of the Sanctuarie, and the charge of the altar: so there shall fall no more wrath vpon the children of Israel.
6 Car quant à moi, voici, j'ai pris vos frères les Lévites du milieu des enfants d'Israël, lesquels vous sont donnés en pur don pour l'Eternel, afin qu'ils soient employés au service du Tabernacle d'assignation.
For lo, I haue taken your brethren the Leuites from among the children of Israel, which as a gift of yours, are giuen vnto the Lord, to do the seruice of the Tabernacle of the Congregation.
7 Mais toi et tes fils avec toi, vous ferez la charge de votre Sacrificature en tout ce qui concerne l'autel et ce qui est au dedans du voile, et vous y ferez le service. J'établis votre Sacrificature en office de pur don; c'est pourquoi si quelque étranger en approche, on le fera mourir.
But thou, and thy sonnes with thee shall keepe your Priestes office for all things of the altar, and within the vaile: therefore shall ye serue: for I haue made your Priestes office an office of seruice: therefore the stranger that cometh neere, shalbe slayne.
8 L'Eternel dit encore à Aaron: Voici, je t'ai donné la garde de mes offrandes élevées, d'entre toutes les choses sanctifiées des enfants d'Israël; je te les ai données, et à tes enfants, par ordonnance perpétuelle, à cause de l'onction.
Againe the Lord spake vnto Aaron, Behold, I haue giuen thee the keeping of mine offrings, of all the hallowed things of the children of Israel: vnto thee I haue giuen them for the anoyntings sake, and to thy sonnes, for a perpetuall ordinance.
9 Ceci t'appartiendra d'entre les choses très-saintes qui ne sont point brûlées, [savoir] toutes leurs offrandes, soit de tous leurs gâteaux, soit de tous [leurs sacrifices] pour le péché, soit de tous [leurs sacrifices] pour le délit, qu'ils m'apporteront; ce sont des choses très-saintes pour toi et pour tes enfants.
This shalbe thine of the most holy things, reserued from the fire: all their offering of all their meate offring, and of all their sinne offring, and of all their trespasse offring, which they bring vnto me, that shalbe most holy vnto thee, and to thy sonnes.
10 Tu les mangeras dans un lieu très-saint; tout mâle en mangera; ce te sera une chose sainte.
In the most holy place shalt thou eate it: euery male shall eate of it: it is holy vnto thee.
11 Ceci aussi t'appartiendra, [savoir] les offrandes élevées qu'ils donneront de toutes les offrandes tournoyées des enfants d'Israël, je te les ai données et à tes fils et à tes filles avec toi, par ordonnance perpétuelle; quiconque sera net dans ta maison, en mangera.
This also shalbe thine: the heaue offering of their gift, with all the shake offerings of the children of Israel: I haue giuen them vnto thee and to thy sonnes and to thy daughters with thee, to be a duetie for euer al the cleane in thine house shall eate of it.
12 Je t'ai donné aussi leurs prémices qu'ils offriront à l'Eternel, [savoir] tout le meilleur de l'huile, et tout le meilleur du moût, et du froment.
All the fat of the oyle, and all the fat of the wine, and of the wheate, which they shall offer vnto the Lord for their first fruites, I haue giuen them vnto thee.
13 Les premiers fruits de toutes les choses que leur terre produira, et qu'ils apporteront à l'Eternel t'appartiendront; quiconque sera net dans ta maison, en mangera.
And the first ripe of al that is in their land, which they shall bring vnto Lord, shalbe thine: all the cleane in thine house shall eate of it.
14 Tout interdit en Israël t'appartiendra.
Euery thing separate from the common vse in Israel, shalbe thine.
15 Tout ce qui ouvre la matrice de toute chair qu'ils offriront à l'Eternel, tant des hommes que des bêtes, t'appartiendra; mais on ne manquera pas de racheter le premier-né de l'homme; on rachètera aussi le premier-né d'une bête immonde.
All that first openeth the matrice of any flesh, which they shall offer vnto the Lord, of man or beast, shalbe thine: but the first borne of man shalt thou redeeme, and the first borne of the vncleane beast shalt thou redeeme.
16 Et on rachètera [les premiers-nés des hommes] qui doivent être rachetés depuis l'âge d'un mois, selon l'estimation que tu en feras, qui sera de cinq sicles d'argent, selon le sicle du Sanctuaire, qui [est] de vingt oboles.
And those that are to bee redeemed, shalt thou redeeme from the age of a moneth, according to thy estimation, for the money of fiue shekels, after the shekel of the Sanctuarie, which is twentie gerahs.
17 Mais on ne rachètera point le premier-né de la vache, ni le premier-né de la brebis, ni le premier-né de la chèvre; car ce sont des choses saintes. Tu répandras leur sang sur l'autel, et tu feras fumer leur graisse; c'est un sacrifice fait par feu en bonne odeur à l'Eternel.
But the first borne of a kow, or the first borne of a sheepe, or the first borne of a goate shalt thou not redeeme: for they are holy: thou shalt sprinkle their blood at the altar, and thou shalt burne their fat: it is a sacrifice made by fire for a sweete sauour vnto the Lord.
18 Mais leur chair t'appartiendra, comme la poitrine de tournoiement, et comme l'épaule droite.
And the flesh of them shalbe thine, as the shake breast, and as the right shoulder shalbe thine.
19 Je t'ai donné, à toi et à tes fils, et à tes filles avec toi, par ordonnance perpétuelle, toutes les offrandes élevées des choses sanctifiées, que les enfants d'Israël offriront à l'Eternel, pour être une alliance ferme à toujours devant l'Eternel, pour toi et pour ta postérité avec toi.
All the heaue offrings of the holy things which the children of Israel shall offer vnto the Lord, haue I giuen thee, and thy sonnes, and thy daughters with thee, to be a duetie for euer: it is a perpetual couenant of salt before the Lord, to thee, and to thy seede with thee.
20 Puis l'Eternel dit à Aaron: Tu n'auras point d'héritage en leur pays, tu n'auras point de portion parmi eux; je suis ta portion et ton héritage au milieu des enfants d'Israël.
And the Lord sayde vnto Aaron, Thou shalt haue none inheritance in their lande, neyther shalt thou haue any parte among them: I am thy part and thine inheritance among the children of Israel.
21 Et quant aux enfants de Lévi, voici, je leur ai donné pour héritage toutes les dîmes d'Israël, pour le service auquel ils sont employés, qui est le service du Tabernacle d'assignation.
For beholde, I haue giuen the children of Leui all the tenth in Israel for an inheritance, for their seruice which they serue in the Tabernacle of the Congregation.
22 Et les enfants d'Israël n'approcheront plus du Tabernacle d'assignation, afin qu'ils ne soient point coupables de péché, et qu'ils ne meurent point.
Neyther shall the children of Israel any more come neere the Tabernacle of the Congregation, lest they susteine sinne, and die.
23 Mais les Lévites s'emploieront au service du Tabernacle d'assignation et ils porteront leur iniquité; cette ordonnance sera perpétuelle en vos âges, et ils ne posséderont point d'héritage parmi les enfants d'Israël.
But the Leuites shall do the seruice in the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and they shall beare their sinne: it is a law for euer in your generations, that among the children of Israel they possesse none inheritance.
24 Car j'ai donné pour héritage aux Lévites les dîmes des enfants d'Israël, qu'ils offriront à l'Eternel en offrande élevée; c'est pourquoi j'ai dit d'eux, qu'ils n'auront point d'héritage parmi les enfants d'Israël.
For the tythes of the children of Israel, which they shall offer as an offring vnto the Lord, I haue giuen the Leuites for an inheritance: therfore I haue said vnto them, Among the children of Israel ye shall possesse none inheritance.
25 Puis l'Eternel parla à Moïse, en disant:
And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
26 Tu parleras aussi aux Lévites, et tu leur diras: Quand vous aurez reçu des enfants d'Israël les dîmes que je vous ai donné à prendre d'eux pour votre héritage, vous offrirez de ces dîmes l'offrande élevée de l'Eternel, [savoir] la dîme de la dîme.
Speake also vnto the Leuites and say vnto them, When ye shall take of the children of Israel the tithes, which I haue giuen you of them for your inheritance, then shall ye take an heaue offring of that same for the Lord, euen the tenth part of the tithe.
27 Et votre offrande élevée vous sera imputée comme le froment pris de l'aire, et comme l'abondance prise de la cuve.
And your heaue offering shalbe reckened vnto you, as the corne of the barne, or as the abundance of the wine presse.
28 Vous donc aussi vous offrirez l'offrande élevée de l'Eternel de toutes vos dîmes que vous aurez reçues des enfants d'Israël, et vous en donnerez de chacune l'offrande élevée de l'Eternel à Aaron Sacrificateur.
So ye shall also offer an heaue offring vnto the Lord of all your tithes, which ye shall receiue of the children of Israel, and ye shall giue thereof the Lords heaue offring to Aaron the Priest.
29 Vous offrirez toute l'offrande élevée de l'Eternel, de toutes les choses qui vous sont données de tout ce qu'il y a de meilleur, pour être la sanctification de la dîme prise de la [dîme] même.
Ye shall offer of all your gifts al the Lords heaue offrings: of all the fat of the same shall ye offer the holy things thereof.
30 Et tu leur diras: Quand vous aurez offert en offrande élevée le meilleur de la dîme, pris de la [dîme] même, il sera imputé aux Lévites comme le revenu de l'aire, et comme le revenu de la cuve.
Therefore thou shalt say vnto them, When ye haue offred the fat thereof, then it shalbe couted vnto the Leuites, as the encrease of the corne floore, or as the encrease of the wine presse.
31 Et vous la mangerez en tout lieu, vous et vos familles; car c'est votre salaire pour le service auquel vous êtes employés dans le Tabernacle d'assignation.
And ye shall eate it in al places, ye, and your housholdes: for it is your wages for your seruice in the Tabernacle of the Congregation.
32 Vous ne serez point coupables de péché au sujet de la dîme, quand vous en aurez offert en offrande élevée ce qu'il y aura de meilleur, et vous ne souillerez point les choses saintes des enfants d'Israël, et vous ne mourrez point.
And ye shall beare no sinne by the reason of it, when ye haue offred the fatte of it: neither shall ye pollute the holy things of the children of Israel, lest ye die.
