Job 20
1 Alors Tsophar Nahamathite prit la parole, et dit:
And he answered Zophar the Naamathite and he said.
2 C'est à cause de cela que mes pensées diverses me poussent à répondre, et que cette promptitude est en moi.
Therefore disquieting thoughts my they make respond me and in order to agitate I in me.
3 J'ai entendu la correction dont tu veux me faire honte, mais [mon] esprit [tirera] de mon intelligence la réponse pour moi.
[the] correction of Insult my I have heard and a spirit from understanding my it answers me.
4 Ne sais-tu pas que de tout temps, [et] depuis que [Dieu] a mis l'homme sur la terre,
¿ This do you know from antiquity from when put humankind on earth.
5 Le triomphe des méchants est de peu de durée, et que la joie de l'hypocrite n'est que pour un moment?
That [the] cry of joy of wicked [people] [is] from near and [the] gladness of [the] godless [is] until a moment.
6 Quand sa hauteur monterait jusqu'aux cieux, et que sa tête atteindrait jusqu'aux nues,
Though it will go up to the heavens loftiness his and head his to the cloud[s] it will reach.
7 Il périra pour toujours comme ses ordures; et ceux qui l'auront vu, diront: Où est-il?
Like own dung his to perpetuity he will perish [those who] saw him they will say where [is]? he.
8 Il s'en sera envolé comme un songe, et on ne le trouvera plus; et il s'enfuira comme une vision de nuit.
Like a dream he will fly away and not people will find him and he may be chased away like a vision of [the] night.
9 L'œil qui l'aura vu ne le verra plus; et son lieu ne le contemplera plus.
An eye it caught sight of him and not it will repeat and not again it will see him place his.
10 Ses enfants feront la cour aux pauvres; et ses mains restitueront ce qu'il aura ravi par violence.
Children his they will seek [the] favor of poor [people] and own hands his they will give back wealth his.
11 Ses os seront pleins de la punition [des péchés] de sa jeunesse, et elle reposera avec lui dans la poudre.
Bones his they were full (youthful vigor his *Q(K)*) and with him on [the] dust it will lie down.
12 Si le mal est doux à sa bouche, et s'il le cache sous sa langue;
Though it is sweet in mouth his evil he hides it under tongue his.
13 S'il l'épargne, et ne le rejette point, mais le retient dans son palais;
He spares it and not he lets loose it and he withholds it in [the] midst of mouth his.
14 Ce qu'il mangera se changera dans ses entrailles en un fiel d'aspic.
Food his in inward parts his it is changed venom of cobras in inward part[s] his.
15 Il a englouti les richesses, mais il les vomira, et le [Dieu] Fort les jettera hors de son ventre.
Wealth he swallows and he has vomited up it from belly his he drives out it God.
16 Il sucera le venin de l'aspic, et la langue de la vipère le tuera.
[the] poison of Cobras he sucks it slays him [the] tongue of a viper.
17 Il ne verra point les ruisseaux des fleuves, ni les torrents de miel et de beurre.
May not he look on streams rivers of torrents of honey and curd.
18 Il rendra [ce qu'il aura acquis par des] vexations, et il ne l'engloutira point; [il le rendra] selon sa juste valeur, et il ne s'en réjouira point.
[he is] restoring [the] gain And not he swallows [it] according to [the] wealth of trading his not he will rejoice.
19 Parce qu'il aura foulé les pauvres et les aura abandonnés, il aura ruiné sa maison, bien loin de la bâtir.
For he has crushed he has neglected poor [people] a house he has seized and not he had built it.
20 Certainement il n'en sentira point de contentement en son ventre, et il ne sauvera rien de ce qu'il aura tant convoité.
For - not he knows quiet in belly his among desired [things] his not he delivers.
21 Il ne lui restera rien à manger, c'est pourquoi il ne s'attendra plus à son bien.
There not [is] a survivor to devour he there-fore not it will endure prosperity his.
22 Après que la mesure de ses biens aura été remplie, il sera dans la misère; toutes les mains de ceux qu'il aura opprimés se jetteront sur lui.
When is full sufficiency his it will be distress to him every hand of a sufferer it will come to him.
23 S'il a eu de quoi remplir son ventre, [Dieu] lui fera sentir l'ardeur de sa colère, et [la] fera pleuvoir sur lui [et] sur sa viande.
May he be - [about] to fill belly his he will send on him [the] burning of anger his and he will send rain on him in bowel[s] his.
24 S'il s'enfuit de devant les armes de fer, l'arc d'airain le transpercera.
He will flee from a weapon of iron it will cut through him a bow of bronze.
25 Le trait décoché contre lui sortira tout au travers de son corps, et le fer étincelant sortira de son fiel; toute sorte de frayeur marchera sur lui.
He will draw [it] out and it came out from [the] back and lightning from gall-bladder his it will come on him terrors.
26 Toutes les ténèbres seront renfermées dans ses demeures les plus secrètes; un feu qu'on n'aura point soufflé, le consumera; l'homme qui restera dans sa tente sera malheureux.
All darkness [is] hidden for treasured [things] his it will consume him fire [which] not it has been fanned it will be evil a survivor in tent his.
27 Les cieux découvriront son iniquité, et la terre s'élèvera contre lui.
They will reveal [the] heavens iniquity his and [the] earth [will] rise up to him.
28 Le revenu de sa maison sera transporté; tout s'écoulera au jour de la colère de Dieu [contre lui].
It will depart [the] produce of house his torrents on [the] day of anger his.
29 C'est là la portion que Dieu réserve à l'homme méchant, et l'héritage qu'il aura de Dieu pour ses discours.
This - [is the] portion of a person wicked from God and [the] inheritance of decree his from God.
