Jérémie 1
1 Les paroles de Jérémie, fils de Hilkija, d'entre les Sacrificateurs qui étaient à Hanathoth, au pays de Benjamin;
[the] words of Jeremiah [the] son of Hilkiah one of the priests who [were] at Anathoth in [the] land of Benjamin.
2 Auquel fut [adressée] la parole de l'Eternel, aux jours de Josias fils d'Amon Roi de Juda, la treizième année de son règne;
Whom it came [the] word of Yahweh to him in [the] days of Josiah [the] son of Amon [the] king of Judah in thir-teen year of reigning his.
3 Laquelle lui fut aussi [adressée] aux jours de Jéhojakim, fils de Josias, Roi de Juda, jusqu’à la fin de la onzième année de Sédécias, fils de Josias, Roi de Juda, [savoir] jusqu’au temps que Jérusalem fut transportée, ce qui arriva au cinquième mois.
And it came in [the] days of Jehoiakim [the] son of Josiah [the] king of Judah until was finished one [plus] ten year of Zedekiah [the] son of Josiah [the] king of Judah until went into exile Jerusalem in the month fifth.
4 La parole donc de l'Eternel me fut [adressée], en disant:
And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying.
5 Avant que je te formasse dans le ventre [de ta mère], je t'ai connu; et avant que tu fusses sorti de [son] sein, je t'ai sanctifié, je t'ai établi Prophète pour les nations.
Before (I formed you *Q(k)*) in the belly I knew you and before you came forth from [the] womb I set apart you a prophet to the nations I appointed you.
6 Et je répondis: Ha! ha! Seigneur Eternel! voici, je ne sais pas parler; car je suis un enfant.
And I said alas! O Lord Yahweh here! not I know to speak for [am] a youth I.
7 Et l'Eternel me dit: ne dis point: je suis un enfant; car tu iras partout où je t'enverrai, et tu diras tout ce que je te commanderai.
And he said Yahweh to me may not you say [am] a youth I for to every [one] whom I will send you you will go and all that I will command you you will speak.
8 Ne crains point [de te montrer] devant eux, car je suis avec toi pour te délivrer, dit l'Eternel.
May not you be afraid of them for [will be] with you I to deliver you [the] utterance of Yahweh.
9 Et l'Eternel avança sa main, et en toucha ma bouche, puis l'Eternel me dit: voici, j'ai mis mes paroles en ta bouche.
And he stretched out Yahweh hand his and he touched mouth my and he said Yahweh to me here! I have put words my in mouth your.
10 Regarde, je t'ai établi aujourd'hui sur les nations, et sur les Royaumes, afin que tu arraches et que tu démolisses, que tu ruines, et que tu détruises; que tu bâtisses, et que tu plantes.
See I appoint you - the day this over the nations and over kingdoms to pluck up and to pull down and to destroy and to tear down to build and to plant.
11 Puis la parole de l'Eternel me fut [adressée], en disant: que vois-tu, Jérémie? Et je répondis: je vois une branche d'amandier.
And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying what? [are] you seeing O Jeremiah and I said a branch of an almond tree I [am] seeing.
12 Et l'Eternel me dit: tu as bien vu; car je me hâte d'exécuter ma parole.
And he said Yahweh to me you have done well to see for [am] watching I over word my to do it.
13 Alors la parole de l'Eternel me fut [adressée] pour la seconde fois, en disant: que vois-tu? Et je répondis: je vois un pot bouillant, dont le devant est tourné vers l'Aquilon.
And it came [the] word of Yahweh - to me a second [time] saying what? [are] you seeing and I said a pot blown upon I [am] seeing and face its [is] away from [the] face of north-ward.
14 Et l'Eternel me dit: le mal se découvrira du côté de l'Aquilon sur tous les habitants de ce pays-ci.
And he said Yahweh to me from [the] north it will be let loose calamity on all [the] inhabitants of the land.
15 Car voici, je m'en vais appeler toutes les familles des Royaumes de l'Aquilon, dit l'Eternel; et elles viendront, et mettront chacune son trône à l'entrée des portes de Jérusalem, et près de toutes ses murailles à l'environ, et près de toutes les villes de Juda.
For - here I [am] summoning all [the] clans of [the] kingdoms of north-ward [the] utterance of Yahweh and they will come and they will set each one throne his [the] entrance of - [the] gates of Jerusalem and on all walls its all around and on all [the] cities of Judah.
16 Et je leur prononcerai mes jugements, à cause de toute leur malice, par laquelle ils m'ont délaissé, et ont fait des parfums à d'autres dieux, et se sont prosternés devant l'ouvrage de leurs mains.
And I will speak judgments my with them on all wickedness their which they have forsaken me and they have made smoke to gods other and they have bowed down to [the] products of hands their.
17 Toi donc, trousse tes reins, et te lève, et dis-leur toutes les choses que je te commanderai; ne crains point [de te montrer] devant eux, de peur que je ne te fasse mettre en pièces en leur présence.
And you you will gird loins your and you will arise and you will say to them all that I I will command you may not you be dismayed because of them lest I should make dismayed you before them.
18 Car voici, je t'ai aujourd'hui établi comme une ville forte; et comme une colonne de fer, et comme des murailles d'airain, contre tout ce pays-ci, c'est-à-dire, contre les Rois de Juda, contre les principaux du pays, contre ses Sacrificateurs, et contre le peuple du pays.
And I here! I have made you this day into a city of fortification and into a pillar of iron and into walls of bronze on all the land to [the] kings of Judah to officials its to priests its and to [the] people of the land.
19 Et ils combattront contre toi, mais ils ne seront pas plus forts que toi; car je suis avec toi, dit l'Eternel, pour te délivrer.
And they will fight against you and not they will prevail to you for [will be] with you I [the] utterance of Yahweh to deliver you.
