Jérémie 49
1 Quant aux enfants de Hammon, ainsi a dit l'Eternel: Israël n'a-t-il point d'enfants, ou n'a-t-il point d'héritier? pourquoi donc Malcam a-t-il hérité [du pays] de Gad, et pourquoi son peuple demeure-t-il dans les villes [de Gad]?
Of [the] people of Ammon thus he says Yahweh ¿ [do] children not [belong] to Israel or? [does] an heir not [belongs] to it why? has he dispossessed Milcom Gad and people his in cities its has it dwelt?
2 C'est pourquoi voici, les jours viennent, dit l'Eternel, que je ferai ouïr l'alarme dans Rabba des enfants de Hammon, et elle sera réduite en un monceau de ruines, et les villes de son ressort seront brûlées au feu, et Israël possédera ceux qui l'auront possédé, a dit l'Eternel.
Therefore here! days [are] coming [the] utterance of Yahweh and I will sound aloud against Rabbah of [the] people of Ammon a shout of battle and it will become a mound of desolation and daughters its with fire they will be kindled and it will dispossess Israel [those who] dispossessed it he says Yahweh.
3 Hurle, ô Hesbon! car Haï a été ravagée. Villes du ressort de Rabba, criez; ceignez le sac sur vous, lamentez, courez le long des haies; car Malcam ira en captivité avec ses Sacrificateurs et ses principaux.

4 Pourquoi te glorifies-tu de tes vallées? ta vallée est écoulée, fille revêche. Elle se confiait en ses trésors, et [disait]: qui viendra contre moi?

5 Voici, je m'en vais faire venir de tous tes environs la frayeur sur toi, dit le Seigneur l'Eternel des armées, et vous serez chassés chacun çà et là, et il n'y aura personne qui rassemble les dispersés.
Here I [am] about to bring on you terror [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh of hosts from all around you and you will be driven away everyone before it and not [one who] gathers together [belongs] to the fugitive.
6 Mais après cela je ferai retourner les captifs des enfants de Hammon, dit l'Etemel.
And after thus I will turn back [the] captivity of [the] people of Ammon [the] utterance of Yahweh.
7 Quant à Edom, ainsi a dit l'Eternel des armées: n'est-il pas vrai qu'[il] n'[y a] plus de sagesse dans Téman? le conseil a manqué à ses habitants, leur sagesse s'est évanouie.
Of Edom thus he says Yahweh of hosts ¿ [is] there not still wisdom in Teman has it been lost? counsel from understanding [people] has it been corrupted? wisdom their.
8 Fuyez, tournez [le dos], vous habitants de Dédan, qui avez fait des creux pour y habiter; car j'ai fait venir sur Esaü sa calamité, le temps auquel je l'ai visité.
Flee be turned back make deep to dwell O inhabitants of Dedan for [the] disaster of Esau I will bring on it a time [when] I will visit it.
9 Est-il entré chez toi des vendangeurs? ils ne t'auraient point laissé de grappillage. Sont-ce des larrons de nuit? ils auraient fait du dégât autant qu'il leur aurait suffi.
If grape gatherers they came to you not will they leave? gleanings if thieves in the night they destroyed sufficiency their.
10 Mais j'ai fouillé Esaü, j'ai découvert ses lieux secrets, tellement qu'il ne se pourra cacher; sa postérité est ravagée, ses frères aussi, et ses voisins; et ce n'est plus rien.
For I I will strip bare Esau I will uncover hiding places its and it will hide itself not it will be able it will be devastated offspring its and relatives its and neighbors its and there not [will be] it.
11 Laisse tes orphelins, et je leur donnerai de quoi vivre, et que tes veuves s'assurent sur moi.
Leave! fatherless your I I will preserve [them] alive and widows your on me let them rely.
12 Car ainsi a dit l'Eternel: voici, ceux qui ne devaient point boire de la coupe, en boiront certainement; et toi en serais-tu exempt en quelque manière? tu n'en seras point exempt; mais tu en boiras certainement.
For thus - he says Yahweh there! [those] who not sentence their [was] to drink the cup completely they will drink [it] and you he completely will you be exempt from punishment? not you will be exempt from punishment for certainly you will drink [it].
13 Car j'ai juré par moi-même, dit l'Eternel, que Botsra sera réduite en désolation, en opprobre, en désert, et en malédiction, et que toutes ses villes seront réduites en déserts perpétuels.
For by myself I swear [the] utterance of Yahweh that a waste a reproach a desolation and a curse it will become Bozrah and all cities its they will become ruins of perpetuity.
14 J'ai ouï une publication de par l'Eternel, et il y a un ambassadeur envoyé parmi les nations, [pour leur dire]: assemblez-vous, et venez contre elle, et levez-vous pour combattre.
A report I have heard from with Yahweh and an envoy among the nations [has been] sent gather together and come on it and rise up for battle.
15 Car voici, je t'avais fait petit entre les nations, et contemptible entre les hommes.
For here! small I will make you among the nations despised among humankind.
16 Mais ta présomption, [et] la fierté de ton cœur t'ont séduit, toi qui habites dans les creux des rochers, et qui occupes la hauteur des coteaux. Quand tu aurais élevé ton nid comme l'aigle, je t'en ferai descendre, dit l'Eternel.
Horror your it has deceived you [the] arrogance of heart your O dweller in [the] clefts of the rock O occupant of [the] height[s] of a hill for you will make high like eagle nest your from there I will bring down you [the] utterance of Yahweh.
17 Et l'Idumée sera réduite en désolation, tellement que quiconque passera près d'elle en sera étonné, et lui insultera à cause de toutes ses plaies.
And it will become Edom a horror every [one who] passes by at it he will be appalled and he may hiss on all wounds its.
18 Il n'y demeurera personne, a dit l'Eternel, et aucun fils d'homme n'y séjournera, comme dans la subversion de Sodome et de Gomorrhe, et de leurs lieux circonvoisins.
Like [the] overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah and neighbors its he says Yahweh not he will dwell there anyone and not he will sojourn in it a child of humankind.
19 Voici, il montera comme un lion à cause de l'enflure du Jourdain, vers la demeure du pays rude, et après l'avoir fait reposer je le ferai courir hors de l'Idumée. Et qui [est] d'élite, que je lui donne commission contre elle? car qui est semblable à moi? et qui me déterminera le temps? et qui sera le Pasteur qui tiendra ferme contre moi?
There! like a lion [which] it goes up from [the] thicket[s] of the Jordan to pastureland of an ever-flowing [stream] for I will act in a moment I will cause to run it from on it and whoever [is] chosen to it I will appoint for who? [is] like me and who? will he summon me and who? this [is] a shepherd who he will stand before me.
20 C'est pourquoi écoutez la résolution que l'Eternel a prise contre Edom, et les desseins qu'il a formés contre les habitants de Téman; si les plus petits du troupeau ne les traînent par terre, et si l'on ne réduit en désolation leurs cabanes sur eux.
Therefore hear [the] plan of Yahweh which he has planned against Edom and purposes his which he has purposed against [the] inhabitants of Teman if not people will drag away them [the] young [ones] of the flock if not he will devastate on them pastureland their.
21 La terre a été ébranlée du bruit de leur ruine; il y a eu un cri, le son en a été ouï en la mer Rouge.
From [the] sound of falling they it will shake the earth of [the] calling out at [the] sea of reed[s] it will be heard sound its.
22 Voici, il montera comme un aigle, et il volera, et étendra ses ailes sur Botsra; et le cœur des forts d'Edom en ce jour-là sera comme le cœur d'une femme qui est en travail.
There! like eagle someone will ascend and he may swoop down so he may spread out wings his over Bozrah and it will be [the] heart of [the] warriors of Edom on the day that like [the] heart of a woman in labor.
23 Quant à Damas; Hamath et Arpad ont été rendues honteuses, parce qu'elles ont appris des nouvelles très mauvaises, ils sont fondus, il y a une tourmente en la mer, elle ne se peut apaiser.
Of Damascus it will be ashamed Hamath and Arpad for new[s] bad they have heard they will melt away [is] in the sea anxiety to be quiet not it will be able.
24 Damas est toute lâche, elle est mise en fuite, la peur l'a surprise, l'angoisse et les douleurs l'ont saisie comme d'une femme qui enfante.
It will be disheartened Damascus it will turn back to flee and panic - it will take hold distress and pains it will seize it like [woman] giving birth.
25 Comment n'a été réservée la ville renommée, ma ville de plaisance?
How! not it has been forsaken a city of (praise *Q(K)*) [the] town of joy my.
26 Car ses gens d'élite tomberont dans ses rues, et on fera perdre la parole à tous ses hommes de guerre en ce jour-là, dit l'Eternel des armées.
Therefore they will fall young men its in open places its and all [the] men of war they will be silenced in the day that [the] utterance of Yahweh of hosts.
27 Et je mettrai le feu à la muraille de Damas, qui dévorera les palais de Ben-hadad.
And I will kindle a fire at [the] wall of Damascus and it will consume [the] fortresses of Ben Hadad.
28 Quant à Kédar, et aux Royaumes de Hatsor, lesquels Nébucanetsar Roi de Babylone frappera, ainsi a dit l'Eternel: levez-vous, montez vers Kédar, et détruisez les enfants d'Orient.
Of Kedar - and of [the] kingdoms of Hazor which he attacked (Nebuchadnezzar *Q(K)*) [the] king of Babylon thus he says Yahweh arise go up against Kedar and devastate [the] people of [the] east.
29 Ils enlèveront leurs tentes et leurs troupeaux, et prendront pour eux leurs tentes, et tout leur équipage, et leurs chameaux, et on criera: frayeur tout autour.
Tents their and flock[s] their people will take away tent curtains their and all equipment their and camels their they will carry off for themselves and people will call out to them terror [is] from round about.
30 Fuyez, écartez-vous tant que vous pourrez, vous habitants de Hatsor, qui avez fait des creux pour y habiter, dit l'Eternel; car Nébucadnetsar Roi de Babylone a formé un dessein contre vous, il a pris une résolution contre vous.
Flee take flight exceedingly make deep to dwell O inhabitants of Hazor [the] utterance of Yahweh that he has planned on you Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon a plan and he has purposed (on you *Q(K)*) a purpose.
31 Levez-vous, montez vers la nation qui est en repos, qui habite en assurance, dit l'Eternel; qui n'ont ni portes, ni barres, et qui habitent seuls.
Arise go up against a nation at ease [which] dwells to security [the] utterance of Yahweh not a pair of gates and not a bar [belong] to it alone they dwell.
32 Et leurs chameaux seront au pillage, et la multitude de leur bétail sera en proie; et je les disperserai à tout vent, vers ceux qui se coupent l'extrémité des cheveux, et je ferai venir de tous les côtés leur calamité, dit l'Eternel.
And they will become camels their spoil and [the] abundance of livestock their plunder and I will scatter them to every wind [those who] are cut off of [the] corner and from all sides its I will bring disaster their [the] utterance of Yahweh.
33 Et Hatsor deviendra un repaire de dragons, et un désert à toujours; il n'y demeurera personne, et aucun fils d'homme n'y séjournera.
And it will become Hazor a habitation of jackals a desolation until perpetuity not he will dwell there anyone and not he will sojourn in it a child of humankind.
34 La parole de l'Eternel qui fut [adressée] à Jérémie le Prophète, contre Hélam, au commencement du règne de Sédécias Roi de Juda, en disant:
Which it came [the] word of Yahweh to Jeremiah the prophet concerning Elam at [the] beginning of [the] reign of Zedekiah [the] king of Judah saying.
35 Ainsi a dit l'Eternel des armées: voici, je m'en vais rompre l'arc d'Hélam, qui est leur principale force.
Thus he says Yahweh of hosts here I [am] about to break [the] bow of Elam [the] beginning of strength their.
36 Et je ferai venir contre Hélam les quatre vents, des quatre bouts des cieux; et je les disperserai par tous ces vents-là; et il n'y aura point de nation chez laquelle ne viennent ceux qui seront chassés d'Hélam.
And I will bring against Elam four winds from [the] four [the] ends of the heavens and I will scatter them to all the winds these and not it will be the nation where not it will go there [the] outcasts of (Elam. *Q(K)*)
37 Et je ferai que ceux d'Hélam seront épouvantés devant leurs ennemis, et devant ceux qui cherchent leur vie; et je ferai venir du mal sur eux, l'ardeur de ma colère, dit l'Eternel; et j'enverrai l'épée après eux, jusqu’à ce que je les aie consumés.
And I will shatter Elam (before *LAB(h)*) enemies their and before - [those who] seek life their and I will bring on them - calamity [the] burning of anger my [the] utterance of Yahweh and I will send after them the sword until have made an end of I them.
38 Et je mettrai mon trône en Hélam, et j'en détruirai les Rois et les principaux, dit l'Eternel.
And I will set throne my in Elam and I will destroy from there king and officials [the] utterance of Yahweh.
39 Mais il arrivera qu'aux derniers jours je ferai retourner d'Hélam les captifs, dit l'Eternel.
And it will be - at [the] end of the days (I will turn back *Q(K)*) ([the] captivity of *Q(k)*) Elam [the] utterance of Yahweh.
