Jérémie 23

1 Malheur aux pasteurs qui détruisent et dissipent le troupeau de ma pâture, dit l'Eternel!

Woe to! [the] shepherds [who] are causing to stray and [who are] scattering [the] flock of pasture my [the] utterance of Yahweh.

2 C'est pourquoi ainsi a dit l'Eternel, le Dieu d'Israël, touchant les pasteurs qui paissent mon peuple: vous avez dissipé mes brebis, et vous les avez chassées, et ne les avez point visitées; voici, je m'en vais visiter sur vous la malice de vos actions, dit l'Eternel.

Therefore thus he says Yahweh [the] God of Israel on the shepherds who are shepherding people my you you have scattered flock my and you have driven away them and not you have paid attention to them here I [am] about to visit on you [the] wickedness of deeds your [the] utterance of Yahweh.

3 Mais je rassemblerai le reste de mes brebis de tous les pays auxquels je les aurai chassées, et les ferai retourner à leurs parcs, et elles fructifieront et multiplieront.

And I I will gather together [the] remnant of flock my from all the lands where I have banished them there and I will bring back them to pasture their and they will be fruitful and they will increase.

4 J'établirai aussi sur elles des pasteurs qui les paîtront, et elles n'auront plus de peur, et ne s'épouvanteront point, et il n'en manquera aucune, dit l'Eternel.

And I will raise up over them shepherds and they will shepherd them and not they will be afraid again and not they will be terrified and not they will be missing [the] utterance of Yahweh.

5 Voici, les jours viennent, dit l'Eternel, que je ferai lever à David un Germe juste, qui régnera [comme] Roi; il prospérera, et exercera le jugement et la justice sur la terre.

Here! days [are] coming [the] utterance of Yahweh and I will raise up for David a branch righteous and he will reign a king and he will act prudently and he will do justice and righteousness in the land.

6 En ses jours Juda sera sauvé, et Israël habitera en assurance; et c'est ici le nom, duquel on l'appellera: l'Eternel notre justice.

In days his it will be saved Judah and Israel it will dwell to security and this [will be] name his which anyone will call him Yahweh - [is] righteousness our.

7 C'est pourquoi voici, les jours viennent, dit l'Eternel, qu'on ne dira plus: l'Eternel est vivant, qui a fait remonter les enfants d'Israël du pays d'Egypte;

Therefore here! days [are] coming [the] utterance of Yahweh and not people will say again [by] [the] life of Yahweh who he brought up [the] people of Israel from [the] land of Egypt.

8 Mais, l'Eternel est vivant, qui a fait remonter, et qui a ramené la postérité de la maison d'Israël, du pays de devers l'Aquilon, et de tous les pays auxquels je les avais chassés, et ils habiteront en leur terre.

That except [by] [the] life of Yahweh who he brought up and who he brought [the] offspring of [the] house of Israel from a land north-ward and from all the lands where I banished them there and they will dwell on own land their.

9 A cause des Prophètes mon cœur est brisé au dedans de moi, tous mes os en tremblent, je suis comme un homme ivre, et comme un homme que le vin a surmonté, à cause de l'Eternel, et à cause des paroles de sa sainteté.

Of the prophets it is broken heart my in inner being my they have become weak all bones my I have become like a person drunken and like a man [whom] it has passed over him wine because of Yahweh and because of [the] words of holiness his.

10 Car le pays est rempli [d'hommes] adultères, et le pays mène deuil à cause des exécrations: les pâturages du désert sont devenus tous secs, l'oppression de ces gens est mauvaise, et leur force n'est pas en faveur de l'équité.

For adulterers it is full the land for because of a curse it has dried up the land they have become dry [the] pastures of [the] wilderness and it has become course [of life] their evil and strength their [is] not right.

11 Car le Prophète et le Sacrificateur se contrefont; j'ai même trouvé dans ma maison leur méchanceté, dit l'Eternel.

For both prophet as well as priest they are polluted also in house my I have found wickedness their [the] utterance of Yahweh.

12 C'est pourquoi leur voie sera comme des lieux glissants dans les ténèbres, ils y seront poussés, et y tomberont; car je ferai venir du mal sur eux, [en] l'année de leur visitation, dit l'Eternel.

Therefore it will become path their for them like slippery places in the darkness they will be pushed down and they will fall on it for I will bring on them calamity [the] year of punishment their [the] utterance of Yahweh.

13 Or j'avais bien vu des choses mal convenables dans les Prophètes de Samarie, [car] ils prophétisaient de par Bahal, et faisaient égarer mon peuple Israël.

And among [the] prophets of Samaria I saw offensiveness they prophesied by Baal and they caused to err people my Israel.

14 Mais j'ai vu des choses énormes dans les Prophètes de Jérusalem; car ils commettent des adultères, et ils marchent dans le mensonge; ils ont donné main forte aux hommes injustes et pas un ne s'est détourné de sa malice; ils me sont tous comme Sodome, et les habitants de la ville, comme Gomorrhe.

And among [the] prophets of Jerusalem I have seen a horrible [thing] they have committed adultery and they have walked in falsehood and they have strengthened [the] hands of evil-doers to not they have turned away anyone from evil his they have become to me all of them like Sodom and inhabitants its like Gomorrah.

15 C'est pourquoi, ainsi a dit l'Eternel des armées touchant ces Prophètes: voici, je m'en vais leur faire manger de l'absinthe, et leur faire boire de l'eau de fiel; parce que la profanation s'est répandue des Prophètes de Jérusalem par tout le pays.

Therefore thus he says Yahweh of hosts on the prophets here I [am] about to make eat them wormwood and I will make drink them water of poison for from with [the] prophets of Jerusalem it has gone out wicked behavior to all the land.

16 Ainsi a dit l'Eternel des armées: n'écoutez point les paroles des Prophètes qui vous prophétisent; ils vous font devenir vains, ils prononcent la vision de leur cœur, [et] ils ne [la tiennent] pas de la bouche de l'Eternel.

Thus he says Yahweh of hosts may not you listen to [the] words of the prophets who are prophesying to you [are] deluding they you [the] vision of own heart their they speak not from [the] mouth of Yahweh.

17 Ils ne cessent de dire à ceux qui me méprisent: l'Eternel a dit: vous aurez la paix; et ils disent à tous ceux qui marchent dans la dureté de leur cœur: il ne vous arrivera point de mal.

[they are] saying Continually to [those who] despise me he says Yahweh peace it will belong to you and every [one who] walks in [the] stubbornness of own heart his they have said not it will come on you calamity.

18 Car qui s'est trouvé au conseil secret de l'Eternel? et qui a aperçu et ouï sa parole? qui a été attentif à sa parole, et l'a ouïe?

For who? has he stood in [the] council of Yahweh so he may see and he may hear word his who? has he paid attention to (word his *Q(K)*) and has he listened?

19 Voici la tempête de l'Eternel, sa fureur va se montrer, et le tourbillon prêt à fondre tombera sur la tête des méchants.

There! - [the] storm of Yahweh rage it has gone out and a storm whirling on [the] head of wicked [people] it will whirl about.

20 La colère de l'Eternel ne sera point détournée qu'il n'ait exécuté et mis en effet les pensées de son cœur; vous aurez une claire intelligence de ceci sur la fin des jours.

Not it will turn back [the] anger of Yahweh until has brought about he and until has carried out he [the] purposes of heart his at [the] end of the days you will understand it understanding.

21 Je n'ai point envoyé ces Prophètes-là, et ils ont couru; je ne leur ai point parlé, et ils ont prophétisé.

Not I sent the prophets and they they ran not I spoke to them and they they prophesied.

22 S'ils s'étaient trouvés dans mon conseil secret, ils auraient aussi fait entendre mes paroles à mon peuple, et ils les auraient détournés de leur mauvais train, et de la malice de leurs actions.

And if they had stood in council my so they may cause to hear words my people my and they will turn back them from way their wicked and from [the] wickedness of deeds their.

23 Suis-je un Dieu de près, dit l'Eternel, et ne suis-je point aussi un Dieu de loin?

¿ A God from near [am] I [the] utterance of Yahweh and not a God from a distance.

24 Quelqu'un se pourra-t-il cacher dans quelque retraite, que je ne le voie point? dit l'Eternel. Ne remplis-je pas, moi, les cieux et la terre? dit l'Eternel.

Or? will he hide himself anyone in hiding places and I not I will see him [the] utterance of Yahweh ¿ not the heavens and the earth [am] I filling [the] utterance of Yahweh.

25 J'ai ouï ce que les Prophètes ont dit, prophétisant le mensonge en mon Nom, [et] disant: j'ai eu un songe, j'ai eu un songe.

I have heard [that] which they have said the prophets who prophesy in name my falsehood saying I have dreamed I have dreamed.

26 Jusques à quand ceci sera-t-il au cœur des Prophètes qui prophétisent le mensonge, et qui prophétisent la tromperie de leur cœur?

Until when? ¿ [is] there in [the] heart of the prophets [who] prophesy falsehood and [the] prophets of [the] deceitfulness of own heart their.

27 Qui pensent comment ils feront oublier mon Nom à mon peuple, par les songes qu'un chacun d'eux récite à son compagnon, comme leurs pères ont oublié mon Nom pour Bahal.

Who plan to make forget people my name my by dreams their which they recount each to neighbor his just as they forgot ancestors their name my for Baal.

28 Que le Prophète par devers lequel est le songe, récite le songe; et que celui par devers lequel est ma parole, profère ma parole en vérité. Quelle [convenance y a-t-il] de la paille avec le froment? dit l'Eternel.

The prophet whom [is] with him a dream let him recount [the] dream and whom word my [is] with him let him speak word my faithfulness what? [belongs] to the straw with the grain [the] utterance of Yahweh.

29 Ma parole n'est-elle pas comme un feu, dit l'Eternel; et comme un marteau qui brise la pierre?

¿ Not thus [is] word my like fire [the] utterance of Yahweh and like a hammer [which] it shatters rock.

30 C'est pourquoi voici, j'en veux aux Prophètes, dit l'Eternel, qui dérobent mes paroles, chacun de son prochain.

Therefore here I [am] on the prophets [the] utterance of Yahweh [who] steal words my each from with neighbor his.

31 Voici, j'en veux aux Prophètes, dit l'Eternel, qui accommodent leurs langues, et qui disent: il dit.

Here I [am] on the prophets [the] utterance of Yahweh who take tongue their and they have uttered an utterance.

32 Voici, j'en veux à ceux qui prophétisent des songes de fausseté, dit l'Eternel, et qui les récitent, et font égarer mon peuple par leurs mensonges, et par leur témérité, quoique je ne les aie point envoyés, et que je ne leur aie point donné de charge; c'est pourquoi ils ne profiteront de rien à ce peuple, dit l'Eternel.

Here I [am] on [those who] prophesy dreams of falsehood [the] utterance of Yahweh and they have recounted them and they caused to err people my by falsehoods their and by recklessness their and I not I sent them and not I appointed them and certainly not they benefit the people this [the] utterance of Yahweh.

33 Si donc ce peuple t'interroge, ou qu'il interroge le Prophète, ou le Sacrificateur, en disant: quelle est la charge de l'Eternel? tu leur diras: quelle charge? Je vous abandonnerai, dit l'Eternel.

And if it will ask you the people this or the prophet or a priest saying what? [is] [the] burden of Yahweh and you will say to them what? burden and I will abandon you [the] utterance of Yahweh.

34 Et quant au Prophète, et au Sacrificateur, et au peuple qui aura dit: la charge de l'Eternel; je punirai cet homme-là, et sa maison.

And the prophet and the priest and the people who he will say [the] burden of Yahweh and I will visit [judgment] on the person that and on house his.

35 Vous direz ainsi chacun à son compagnon, et chacun à son frère: qu'a répondu l'Eternel; et qu'a prononcé l'Eternel?

Thus you will say each to neighbor his and each to brother his what? did he answer Yahweh and what? did he say Yahweh.

36 Et vous ne ferez plus mention de la charge de l'Eternel; car la parole de chacun lui sera pour charge; parce que vous avez perverti les paroles du Dieu vivant, [les paroles] de l'Eternel des armées, notre Dieu.

And [the] burden of Yahweh not you will remember again for the burden it is for a person own word his and you change [the] words of God living Yahweh of hosts God our.

37 Tu diras ainsi au Prophète: que t'a répondu l'Eternel, et que t'a prononcé l'Eternel?

Thus you will say to the prophet what? did he answer you Yahweh and what? did he say Yahweh.

38 Et si vous dites: la charge de l'Eternel; à cause de cela, a dit l'Eternel, parce que vous avez dit cette parole, la charge de l'Eternel; et que j'ai envoyé vers vous, pour vous dire: ne dites plus: la charge de l'Eternel.

And if [the] burden of Yahweh you will say therefore thus he says Yahweh because have spoken you the word this [the] burden of Yahweh and I sent to you saying not you must say [the] burden of Yahweh.

39 A cause de cela me voici, et je vous oublierai entièrement, et j'arracherai de ma présence, vous et la ville que j'ai donnée à vous et à vos pères.

Therefore here [am] I and I will surely you lift up and I will abandon you and the city which I gave to you and to ancestors your from on face my.

40 Et je mettrai sur vous un opprobre éternel, et une confusion éternelle, qui ne sera point mise en oubli.

And I will put on you a reproach of perpetuity and shame of perpetuity which not it will be forgotten.
