Isaïe 43
1 Mais maintenant ainsi a dit l'Eternel, qui t'a créé, ô Jacob! et qui t'a formé, ô Israël? Ne crains point, car je t'ai racheté, je t'ai appelé par ton Nom; tu es à moi.
And now thus he says Yahweh [who] created you O Jacob and [who] formed you O Israel may not you be afraid for I have redeemed you I have called [you] by name your [belong] to me you.
2 Quand tu passeras par les eaux, je serai avec toi, et [quand tu passeras] par les fleuves, ils ne te noieront point; quand tu marcheras dans le feu, tu ne seras point brûlé, et la flamme ne t'embrasera point.
If you will pass in the waters [will be] with you I and in the rivers not they will overflow you if you will walk in fire not you will be burned and flame not it will burn you.
3 Car je suis l'Eternel ton Dieu, le Saint d'Israël ton Sauveur; j'ai donné l'Egypte pour ta rançon, Chus et Séba pour toi.
For I [am] Yahweh God your [the] holy [one] of Israel deliverer your I have given ransom your Egypt Cush and Seba in place of you.
4 Depuis que tu as été précieux devant mes yeux, tu as été rendu honorable, et je t'ai aimé; et je donnerai les hommes pour toi, et les peuples pour ta vie.
Because you are precious in view my you are honored and I I love you and I may give humankind in place of you and peoples in place of life your.
5 Ne crains point, car je suis avec toi; je ferai venir ta postérité d'Orient, et je t'assemblerai d'Occident.
May not you be afraid for [am] with you I from [the] east I will bring offspring your and from [the] west I will gather you.
6 Je dirai à l'Aquilon, Donne; et au Midi; ne mets point d'empêchement; amène mes fils de loin, et mes filles du bout de la terre;
I will say to the north deliver up and to [the] south may not you withhold bring sons my from a distance and daughters my from [the] end of the earth.
7 [Savoir], tous ceux qui sont appelés de mon Nom; car je les ai créés pour ma gloire; je les ai formés, et les ai faits:
Every [one who] is called by name my and [whom] for glory my I created him [whom] I formed him also I made him.
8 Amenant dehors le peuple aveugle, qui a des yeux; et les sourds, qui ont des oreilles.
Bring out a people blind and [are] eyes there and deaf [people] and ears [belong] to them.
9 Que toutes les nations soient ramassées ensemble, et que les peuples soient assemblés. Lequel d'entre eux a prédit cette chose-là? et qui sont ceux qui nous ont fait entendre les choses qui ont été ci-devant? qu'ils produisent leurs témoins, et qu'ils se justifient; qu'on les entende, et [qu'après cela] on dise; il est vrai.
All the nations they have assembled together so they may gather peoples who? among them will he declare this and former [things] will they proclaim to? us let them appoint witnesses their so they may be justified and they may hear and they may say truth.
10 Vous êtes mes témoins, dit l'Eternel, et mon serviteur aussi, que j'ai élu; afin que vous connaissiez, et que vous me croyiez, et que vous entendiez que c'est moi. Il n y a point eu de [Dieu] Fort avant moi, qui ait rien formé, et il n'y en aura point après moi.
You [are] witnesses my [the] utterance of Yahweh and servant my whom I have chosen so that you may know and you may believe me and you may perceive that I [am] he before me not it was formed a god and after me not it will be.
11 C'est moi, c'est moi qui suis l'Eternel, et il n'y a point de Sauveur que moi.
I I [am] Yahweh and there not except me [is] a deliverer.
12 C'est moi qui ai prédit ce qui devait arriver, c'est moi qui vous ai délivrés, et qui vous ai fait entendre l'avenir et il n'y a point eu parmi vous de [dieu] étranger [qui ait fait ces choses]; et vous êtes mes témoins, dit l'Eternel, que je suis le [Dieu] Fort.
I I have declared and I have saved and I have proclaimed and there not among you [was] a strange [god] and you [are] witnesses my [the] utterance of Yahweh and I [am] God.
13 Et même j'étais dès qu'il y a eu de jour, et il n'y a personne qui puisse délivrer de ma main; je ferai une chose, et qui est-ce qui m'en empêchera?
Also from a day I [am] he and there not from hand my [is] a deliverer I act and who? will he revoke it.
14 Ainsi a dit l'Eternel votre Rédempteur, le Saint d'Israël; j'enverrai pour l'amour de vous contre Babylone, et je les ferai tous descendre fugitifs, et le cri des Chaldéens sera dans les navires.
Thus he says Yahweh redeemer your [the] holy [one] of Israel for sake your I have sent Babylon towards and I will bring down [as] fugitives all of them and [the] Chaldeans in ships shout of joy their.
15 C'est moi qui suis l'Eternel, votre Saint, le Créateur d'Israël, votre Roi.
I [am] Yahweh holy [one] your [the] creator of Israel king your.
16 Ainsi a dit l'Eternel, qui a dressé un chemin dans la mer, et un sentier parmi les eaux impétueuses;
Thus he says Yahweh who made in the sea a way and in waters mighty a path.
17 Quant à celui qui amenait des chariots et des chevaux, et de grandes forces; ils ont [tous] été étendus ensemble, et ils ne se relèveront point, ils ont été étouffés, ils ont été éteints comme un lumignon.
Who sent out chariotry and horse[s] an army and a strong [one] together they lay down not they rose they were extinguished like wick they were quenched.
18 Ne faites point mention des choses de ci-devant, et ne considérez point les choses anciennes.
May not you remember former [things] and ancient [things] may not you consider.
19 Voici, je m'en vais faire une chose nouvelle qui paraîtra bientôt, ne la connaîtrez-vous pas? C'est que je mettrai un chemin au désert, et des fleuves au lieu désolé.
Here I [am] about to do a new [thing] now it is springing up ¿ not do you know it also I will make in the wilderness a way in a desolate place rivers.
20 Les bêtes des champs, les dragons, et les chats-huants me glorifieront, parce que j'aurai mis des eaux au désert, et des fleuves au lieu désolé, pour abreuver mon peuple, que j'ai élu.
It honors me [the] animal[s] of the field jackals and daughters of an ostrich for I have put in the wilderness water rivers in a desolate place to give drink to people my chosen one my.
21 Je me suis formé ce peuple-ci, [et j'ai dit]; ils raconteront ma louange.
A people which I formed for myself praise my they will recount.
22 Mais [toi] Jacob, tu ne m'as point invoqué, quand tu t'es travaillé pour moi, ô Israël!
And not me you have called on O Jacob for you have grown weary with me O Israel.
23 Tu ne m'as point offert les menues bêtes de tes holocaustes, et tu ne m'as point glorifié dans tes sacrifices; je ne t'ai point asservi pour me faire des oblations, et je ne t'ai point fatigué pour [me présenter] de l'encens.
Not you have brought to me [the] sheep of burnt offerings your and sacrifices your not you have honored me not I have burdened you with offering[s] and not I have made weary you with frankincense.
24 Tu ne m'as point acheté à prix d'argent du roseau aromatique, et tu ne m'as point enivré de la graisse de tes sacrifices; mais tu m'as asservi par tes péchés, et tu m'as travaillé par tes iniquités.
Not you have bought for me for money calamus and [the] fat of sacrifices your not you have satisfied me nevertheless you have burdened me with sins your you have made weary me with iniquities your.
25 C'est moi, c'est moi qui efface tes forfaits pour l'amour de moi, et je ne me souviendrai plus de tes péchés.
I I [am] he [who is] wiping out transgressions your for own sake my and sins your not I will remember.
26 Remets-moi en mémoire, et plaidons ensemble; toi, déduis [tes raisons], afin que tu te justifies.
Cause to remember me let us enter into judgment together recount O you so that you may be justified.
27 Ton premier père a péché, et tes entremetteurs ont prévariqué contre moi.
Ancestor your first he sinned and spokesmen your they transgressed against me.
28 C'est pourquoi je traiterai comme souillés les principaux du lieu Saint, et je mettrai Jacob en interdit, et Israël en opprobre.
So I may profane [the] officials of holiness and I will give to total destruction Jacob and Israel to reviling words.
